It was five years after the battle of Hogwarts, most of the things were okay again. You had fought proudly in Dumbledores army alongside your good friends. After the war you had the option on going back to Hogwarts to finish your education there, you chose not to. It was too painful, the place had, in your eyes, lost its magic when you saw your classmate fighting for their life's. And some even losing them. Instead you decided to open up your on store, a clothing store. You had always liked fashion, and thought the fashion in the wizarding world could use some upgrades. Your shop was placed in Hogsmeade, a couple shops further down than Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. You had kept in touch with a couple of friends from your old friend group, Hermione and Ginny would come by your store to help out or just to catch up. Ron and George worked in the store close by, so you would often go talk with them. One of the only ones you hadn't really had contact with was Neville. You had a huge crush on him back in the days, more often than you would admit, your mind wandered and thought about what could have been. What you didn't know was that Neville had just accepted a teaching position at Hogwarts.

The day started as any other, you were folding clothes and thinking about the design of the ones you wanted to add to the collection. The school year had just started at Hogwarts and soon the students would be able to go to Hogsmeade! Which meant more business for you. The door of your store opened, and without looking up you said "I'm sorry but the store is still closed, come back in an hour." "Really? Not even open for an old friend?" The voice sounded familiar, but slightly deeper than before. You turned around "Neville!" You yelled out, walking over to him and pulling him into a hug. When you had pulled back you took in his whole appearance. "Neville you look great!" You said whilst feeling a little flustered. "As do you Y/N, beautiful as ever." You blushed slightly at the comment "oh shush!" He chuckled and looked at you. His mind was racing, he didn't expect you to be more beautiful than you were at Hogwarts, but now he stood there dumfounded. You were as beautiful as you had ever been, sexier too. His thought bubble bursted when you starting talking to him. "Earth to Neville?" "Ah sorry" you smiled "it's okay, I was asking if you maybe want something to drink?" He nodded "sure, where can we drink?" He looked around the shop, the only chars he saw were the ones outside of the fitting rooms. "I live above the shop, come on." You walked in front of him, motioning him to follow you. You walked onto the stairs and he was right behind you, looking at your bum. "Well this is it, it's not much but it's home!" You opened the door to your apartment. It has a small cozy living room with a big leather chair and a nice big sofa full of pillows, your kitchen was small but practical and besides that you had a decent sized bathroom and bedroom. Colours were bursting everywhere, but everything seemed to go together at the same time. He smiled "this apartment just screams you." "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" He awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck "that's a good thing for sure."

After you made tea and sat down next to him on the couch, the two of you started to catch up. "Oh Neville Im so proud of you! I told you you were going to be a Herbology professor." He chuckled "yes you did, you always knew how to give me confidence." You smiled "I did?" He nodded. "Without you I probably never would have had the courage to even try." "Oh stop it." "No Y/N I'm serious." You looked at him, grinning. "You know what Neville we should do this more often." He nodded "yeah I would like that." "Well Im free Saturday night, I could make dinner?" "That sounds great Y/N." "Good be here at six, and now you have to go! Because I have a store to open." The two of you walked downstairs, at the door Neville stopped walking. He turned around, put one of his arms around your waist and he leaned in, softly kissing your cheek. "See you Saturday." When he said that, in his low husky voice, you could feel you cheeks heat up, all the feelings from so long ago started to come back. "Yeah see you Saturday Neville." And with that he walked away. Leaving you flustered.
