Lately you've been wondering about your relationship with Lily. The two of you had always been close but lately the energy between the two of you started to change. You were confused to say the least, you had never been in love with another woman before. But ever since your ex broke up with you, lily was there. She told you it was good riddance, that you deserved more than this. What did she mean by that? Did she mean her, or in general? With these mixed feelings you went to talk to Remus, one of your best friends. "Y/N, I think you like her." He placed an arm around your shoulder. "But how? I have only liked boys and I've never liked a girl before? How could this happen?" Remus chuckled "you know there is something called Bi-sexuality right?" You looked at him "Do you think I'm Bi?" Remus nodded. "It's a big chance, maybe you have a preference for guys, bi-sexuality can be many different things" Remus saw the look on your face, giving you a sympathetic look "you want to see if we can get some ice cream from the kitchen and talk about it some more?" You nodded, still feeling confused.

After the talk with Remus you were sure you were Bisexual, apparently not everyone finds people from the same gender attractive all the time.. you thought it was a common thing, seeing a boy thinking 'wow he's hot' and seeing a girl and thinking 'wow she's cute' it literally had never came to mind that straight people only thought that about one gender, and since you only had, had boyfriends you just assumed you were straight. Now came the second problem, your crush on lily. Since you knew about your crush you couldn't really be in the same room with her. You didn't want to make her uncomfortable or anything and thought it would be best to keep your distance. She did not agree and currently you were walking at a very fast pace, trying to shake Lily off. She had been following you for 10 minutes now.

"Y/N!!" You heard coming from behind you. Just keep walking, just keep walking. "Y/N!!! I know you can hear me!!" Just keep walking, maybe slightly faster. "Y/N!" You turned around too see where Lily was and she was closing in. Faster, walk faster. "Y/N stop walking!" Lily sounded so angry, it stopped you in your tracks. "What is the matter with you?" You turned a bright shade of red and awkwardly smiled at her "Oh hey Lils" "Don't start with the friendly banter, what's wrong with you? You have been avoiding me!" You looked at her, not knowing what to say. "Well are you going to answer or am I wasting my time?" "Lily I don't know how to say this okay, it's hard." "Fine I'll just go then." She huffed and turned around, attempting to walk away. "Lily wait!" You grabbed her arm. She looked at you, with questioning eyes. "Lily I have recently found out that I am in fact Bisexual." She gave you a small smile "that's great but why was it hard to tell me? I'm your best friend and you know sexuality doesn't bother me, you're still you." You nodded "I know that but.." "but what Y/N? Because I know that isn't the reason you've been avoiding me." "Lily, the only reason I found out is because I have feelings for you, that's why I've been avoiding you." "Wait what?" "I have feelings for you, feelings I have never had for any other girl and I didn't know how to deal with it." Lily's body language changed. As she stayed silent you grew more nervous. "Listen Lil, I get it if you don't feel the same! The reason I've been avoiding you is mainly because of this, I didn't want to ruin our friendship." She was still silent, looking at you in shock. "Lily seriously? Are you not going to say anything?" That seemed to get her out of her trance, she smiled brightly. "I can't believe it!" She almost cheered. "Y/N I like you too! I have liked you for a long time now!" You were quite shocked "you do?" "Yes silly!" You hugged her tight and lifted her off her feet. When she was back on the ground you asked her "does that mean you're also bisexual?" She shook her head "'no, I'm gay Y/N, why do you think I have turned down Potter so many times?" You chuckled.

"Well Lily, now that we have cleared the air, would you maybe like to go on a date with me?" Her eyes twinkled as you she looked into yours. "I thought you'd never ask." And just as she said that she leaned in, giving you a smal loving kiss.
