You were currently in the kitchen preparing dinner for yourself and your husband, who was suppose to come home very soon now.
Your husband, Neville Longbottom, who was now a herbology teacher at Hogwarts.
He was finally coming home after being away for almost two months.
You missed him desperately and he missed you even more.
You were preparing his favorite meal and when you had just finished you heard the door open followed by a "honey I'm home!" You ran towards the door and jumped right into your husband's arms.
"Neville! I missed you so much" he chuckled and said "missed you to y/n"
That night you were laying on the couch together, your head on his chest. Neville's hand grabbed yours and you smiled slightly.
Neville pulled you closer and kissed the top of your nose. "I really love you Y/N"
Your smile grew bigger and you slowly kissed his lips.
He smiled into the kiss and so did you, the two of you were genuinely happy and as the two of you were caught up in your happy little bubble the time flew by.
And as the vacation came to an end so did Neville's happiness. You started to notice it and when you asked he would always reply the same. This time was different.
"Neville, honey, what's going on? You seem so depressed?"
He sighed and pulled you on his lap.
"I don't know what's going on, I'm fine really"
"Neville I can see that you're struggling, just tell me what it is"
Neville sighed and hugged you closer, when you pulled away you saw a tear falling from the corner of his eyes.
"I just don't know Y/N, I don't know if I'm good enough"
You raised your eyebrows, "not good enough for what?"

"Not good enough of a teacher, not good enough for you, just not good enough"
You looked at him and your eyes started to water as well. "Neville, honey, listen to me. You are not only good enough, you are even better, my love, there is no one who is better at being a teacher and a mentor for the children, there is no one better at loving me" Neville looked at you and another tear fell from his eye.
"Please, Neville, do not ever doubt yourself, you are so much more! Some one like you can never be described as not good enough" and that was the moment Neville realized that he had found the love of his life, and his soulmate.

He's neither perfect nor a saint, he is Jon. Welcome to Gamer. This has been dropped, I didn't like the way I forced a few plotpoints and I lost my notes on the story itself. Read below if you want to be spoilered. As far as I recall, he would change race into a higher human after using a spell to overload his mana repeatably until his body forcibly adapts, he would train up his rift usage spell with some better targets than God's Realm because he keeps hitting his stats limit until the cost lowers enough that he can actually grind it. His world is being invaded by multiple worlds, so the god had many backup plans where a lot of people went into their own fantasy settings and came back to defend Earth. Jon never is the strongest one out there, he has to keep grinding and grinding before he gets stronger than the other heroes, and at that point the invasion is nearing the final stretch. Jon's two biggest advantages is that he can keep grinding without hitting a cap he can't evolve, and that even when he is eventually killed. He would have respawned in the nearest 'Safe Zone' after dropping a level and everything he did to gain that level. I also had a bunch of ideas for mini-arcs where he would play in multiple worlds in multiple situations, not that great of an idea in retrospect.
