— chapter sixteen

guess whos backk????

loosing edward, ignoring antoinette, watching as ron and harry's relationship fall apart, more tests, new creepy teachers and ect ect.

she just wants to relax and do nothing. but of course, she adores harry so much that she agreed to help harry with his first task. so there she was, listening to neville babble about things she's not even remotely understanding.

"neville please stop staring at me" rubi says while a book is on her face. "well you're not helping are you?"

rubi removes the book from her face and glares at him. he gulps and finally looks away. she sighs and gets up. "give me that damn book" she snatches the book out of harry's hands.

she goes over it but neville starts waving at something that catches her attention. both of her little siblings and hermione were walking towards us.

hermione was looking distraught and ron was looking very conceited for some odd reason. harry gets up and walks with rubi towards them. "hi rub" hermione says barely sparing her a glance making rubi raise her brow.

"ronald would like me to tell you that shane told him that dean was told by parvati that hagrid is looking for you"

rubi looks at ron and hermione dumbly. are they serious right now? "well really? how abou- wait what?" harry says confusedly.

"erm- agh um excuse me" hermione grumbles and goes back ron. they start whispering while they both look back at harry. this is one of the dumbest things ive ever seen. rubi says in her head.

"dean was told by paravati that- please dont ask me to say it again, hagrid is looking for you." she gulps while fidgeting.

"well you can tell ronald-"

"im not an owl!" hermione growls while glaring at harry.

all three of them start walking back up and ginny glancing back smiling apologetically at rubi. rub smiles and nods in understanding.

rubi sighs. "my little brother is a big oaf harry, he wont talk to you unless you apologize, for what reason? i dont know but look dont worry about it, you have bigger problems to worry about. just go check on hagrid and we'll finish this later on today."

she smiles softly at him. harry nods. "but i need to write to my grandmother later on tod-"

"shut up neville!" rubi yells while glaring at him.

rubi was fuming in anger. people think it's hilarious to make fun of a 14 year old boy for something that isn't his fault.

rubi was trying to contain her anger while stomping up to cedric. "you little piece of shit!" she roars while aiming her wand at cedric's face. all of his friends let out surprised sounds while moving away.

cedric looks down wide eyed while rubi is practically letting out hot steam from her ears.

"you think this is funny?! harry did nothing to deserve these stupid badges!" she yells like a madwoman while pulling out a badge from her pocket that she stole from an a idiot slytherine.

she throws the badge to the floor while pointing her wand at it. she mutters incendio under her breath and it's immediately on fire. she brings her wand back to cedric's face.

"you! are gonna go person by person taking they're badge and making sure all badges are burn to a crisp. and if you dont! i'll personally set your face on fire making sure you! burn to a crisp."

cedric looks at her terrified. "are you crazy!? i didnt do this! i would never bully a 14 year old like this." he exclaims.

"i know you didnt do this you blithering idiot! but i know for a fact it was your trash friends who did this. but im holding you accountable because you've seen the badges and you've ignored them and you have laughed at the bullying that they've done to harry." she snarls.

"now you're gonna fix it and i wont be so polite about you doing this immediately" she taps her feet impatiently.

cedric sighs in defeat. "ok fine ill do it" rubi nods and turns around to walk away but cedric grabs her arm turning her around. "but please find a way to come back to me, please? i love you, i acknowledge i cheated and also fell for someone else but ill give her up just for you just please come back."

his eyes water a bit and she knows he's being sincere but she wont ever forgive him fully. she just cant. she sighs knowing that all she can do for him is give him the benefit of the doubt. "ill- ill think about it. but it will never be the same again cedric"

she pulls her arm away and walks through the crowd that randomly appeared while they were arguing.

rubi was currently standing in front of the tent of the champions that were in. she wanted to check up harry so bad but she decided to let hermione go because the girl was practically peeing herself just to see harry.

so now she was just waiting for hermione to come out of the tent. hermione comes out a little flustered and rubi was staring at her weirdly. "you ok" rubi chuckles.

hermione nods while blushing. they both walk to their respected seats. rubi in the middle of her brothers. and hermione was in the middle george and ron. soon enough the tournament starts.

cedric is the first to begin and was undoubtedly scared for him. she might hate him but it doesn't mean she wants him dead. she has always loved him dearly. but believe or not he was her first love and no one will take that away.

the task goes smoothly and so far all of them pass through. and finally it was harry's turn. the one rubi's been dreading the most. she stares down in to the pit terrified. soon enough harry walks out looking around, unaware of the dragon that was snarling at him from the corner.

harry starts walking towards the egg but the dragon swings his tail at harry. harry immediately falls even more deeper in to the pit making rubi's eyes water. she was literally crying over harry being in danger. what is wrong with her??

harry repeatedly almost get killed by dragon. suddenly harry's broom comes out of nowhere, saving harry from the grasp of the dragon. harry flies away, taking the dragon with him because somehow the dragon gets free from chains.

its been 30 minutes since the dragon and harry disappeared. rubi was almost full on sobbing. but then from the distance everyone sees harry coming on his broom. making rubi sigh in relief with tears still on her cheeks. everyone around her cheers and screams with happiness to see harry alive and well.

how was she supposed to survive all of this?

everyone in the gryffindor common room was cheering for harry but also weirded out by the screaming egg. as rubi walks in the common room ron and harry have already made up making rubi smile.

suddenly something in rubi's is gut is telling her to do something about her being greatful for harry. she's so confused why but she already knows what to do for some reason.

she walks up to harry and taps him shoulder. "oh hey rub!"

"hi harry." she smiles. "erm you wanna come with me real quick?" he raises his eyebrows but nods. rubi walk with him through the crowd of people. they reach her dorm room. harry walks in first.

"wow, the girls dorms are very different from the bo-"

harry was immediately silenced by lips pressing on to him. harry is shocked by the kiss but kisses back either way.

the kiss was full of passion and security. it was amazing for the both of them. it was slow but aggressive at the same time.

but in some way it was achingly slow and sensual. harry boldy slips his tongue in to rubi's mouth. pulling a moan from her. harry felt shivers run down his back, just from hearing rubi moan.

rubi was running her hands through his unruly hair. pulling on it and gripping it. at this point they were only kissing because it felt too good. the kiss was just supposed to be a 'thank god your alive kiss' and now she and him cant stop.

they didn't even notice when harry pushed her up against the wall. one of her legs were wrapped up in his, pulling even closer if that was even possible.

suddenly the door bursts open "harry i need your help with this!"
