, she cuddles more in to the comfortable embrace around her. but suddenly her nose comes in contact with skin. she snaps her eyes open.

she looks down and sees that there's an arm around her waist. her eyebrows furrow in confusion. she looks up at the person and notices a snoring harry.

his mouth was popped open, sleeping soundlessly. she notices that she was sleeping against harry's neck, thats why she felt her nose poke some skin.

looking around at her surroundings she sees that they're in her dorm. she furrows her eyebrows, the last thing she remembers was being in the hospital, what happened?

she looks back at him. she pokes his cheek. "harold" she whispers, poking his cheek again.

"harold" she sings songs. he grumbles, pushing her more against him making her straddle him. she gasps not expecting him to pull her so close to him.

her cheeks flush at the sudden position they were in. "harry" his eyes blink open.

he looks down at her and his eyes widen. "shit, sorry i dont even know how we ended up like this." he says scrambling up, she falls back beside him.

he tries crawling over her but her breath hitches at how close their faces were. he notices himself and pushes himself off making him fall to the ground with an oomph.

she gasps crawling to the end of the bed looking at him. "you ok harry?" she says stiffing a laugh. he rubs his back.

"erm- yeah im fine." he blushes, pushing himself off the ground. "what happened, i thought we were in the hospital?" she questions looking around at her dorm.

"uh its a long story but i brought you here myself, after everything happened i figured you'd wanna sleep in your own bed." he rubs his neck.

"you carried me here?" she raises an eyebrow. his eyes widen."erm- yeah i didnt wanna wake you so i carried you here, im sorry i didnt mean no disrespect i just wanted to bring you-."

she giggles running a hand through her hair. "its fine harry, i appreciate it. how did you carry me?"

"you don't weigh much, your quite small." he says sheepishly. she smacks his arm. "shut up" he grins at her.

"how did we end up wrapped up around each other" she chuckles. his cheeks turn red. "uh- when i was going to leave you here, you grabbed my arm and told me to lay with you."

he clears his throat. "so i laid down with you, figuring it was better for you to wake up with someone here so you wouldn't be confused"

she nods understandingly. she stands up and wraps her arms around his neck. he hugs her back immediately. "thank you." he hums in response.

she lets go of him and smiles. "so you gonna tell me what happened while i was asleep?"

after harry told her everything about the time turner up to saving buckbeack and sirius. rubi was dumbfounded. it was amazing that all of that happened without no one even knowing.

harry and rubi decided to go see lupin after they got changed in to their robes. harry told her how he heard lupin supposedly got sacked.

so together they went to his office. when they arrive rubi was going to knock but remus answers before she even could.

"hello rubi and harry."

both they're eyebrows furrow as he turns around towards them. "saw you both coming." he points at the map. hey isn't that fred and george map? rubi says in her thoughts.

remus points his wand at a box, they watch at the box closes fixing the stuff inside. rubi frowns at her favorite teacher. seeing his scarred and pale face.

remus notices her look and smiles softly. "believe me, ive looked worse" she nods sadly fiddling with her bracelet.

"they've sacked you, haven't they." rubi says quietly. "no, actually i resigned" harry and rubi frown at him.

"resign why?" harry steps forward. "well it seems as if somebody let it slip the nature of my condition, this time tomorrow the owls will start arriving and parents will not want.....well- someone like me teaching their children."

"but dumbledore-."

"dumbledore has already risked enough on my behalf besides people like me.....well lets just say im used to it by now." he flicks his wand and his suitcase starts packing itself.

rubi and harry stare at him sadly. "why do you both look so miserable." rubi shifts uncomfortably. "none of it made any difference, pettigrew escaped." harry huffs out.

"didn't make any difference? harry it made all the difference in the world. you helped uncover the truth, you saved an innocent man from a terrible fate." remus chuckles shaking his head. "it made a great deal of a difference"

he walks around the desk carrying his bag. "your just leaving me." rubi says. he looks over at her furrowing his eyebrows. "what?"

"your just leaving me? your my mentor, your the first person to ever understand and help me"

"harry can you please step out, im going to have a talk with rubi." harry looks at rubi for reassurance. she nods.

he walks out leaving them both standing there. "you know i cant control my emotions, i have breakdowns randomly and your the only person who knows." she gulps, crossing her arms.

he sighs. "rubi, they become more worse because you dont tell anyone about it. you need to tell your parents or someone, your powers will someday burst if you dont learn how to control your breakdowns."

she shakes her head, hugging herself. "no, do you not know who my mother is? my mother will freak out and think im crazy or something. my father he'll pity me and i dont need pity, i need control."

"rubi there are certain things you dont know about yourself. for example harry," she glares at him. "what does this have to do with harry."

"rubi, i cant tell you certain things yet until your ready, just know that harry is the key to control your powers and breakdowns. talk to him, get to know him. ive noticed you understand yourself a bit more when your around him."

rubi groans, gripping her hair. "that doesn't help at all, im just supposed to talk to harry and what? complain to him how im a girl who gets angry at anything and immediately wants to hurt someone." she growls at him making a few things in the office to start floating in to the air.

"rubi calm down now." remus demands towering over her. her eyes turn silver for a moment making remus flinch slightly. she breathes in deeply and slowly taking it out. everything that was once floating starts falling back down.

remus sighs while rubbing his face, "rubi i dont want to leave you, not like this but believe me when i say, let harry in. he's the only person who truly can help you."

rubi lets an angry tear fall but she quickly wipes it. she suddenly throws her arms around remus waist, hugging tightly. remus smiles and he lowers down a bit to hug her back.

"im gonna miss you lupin." she sniffs. he pats her back. "im going to miss you as well rubi"

he lets her go and grabs his bag once again and walks out the door. rubi watches as the only person who understood how it feels to be an outsider walk out the classroom leaving her alone once again.

harry and rubi walk towards the great hall together in silence. it was comfortable silence but she always found comfortable silence overrated.

once they finally reach the great hall they seen people surrounding the gryffindor table. rubi grabs harry's arm making him look at her.

they frown at each other wondering the same thing. "harry wherever did you get it." neville comes running up to them. "can i have a go harry! after you of course." seamus sheepishly says.

"what are you talking about?"

"quiet! let the man through, i didnt mean to open it harry and it was badly wrapped, they made me do it!" ron accuses towards the twins.

"did not!" fred and george say in unison

rubi rolls her eyes. "fred and george wouldn't force you to do anything, they'd do it themselves idiot."

harry immediately opens it and laying there was a broomstick. it was sorta beautiful. rubi never really liked quidditch but the broom sure was beautiful.

"who sent it?" harry says excitedly. "no one knows."

"this came with it." hermione shows him a feather. rubi recognizes the feather immediately, already guessing it was from sirius.

harry snatches it off the table and grabs rubi and pulls her with him. she stumbles while she runs with him, not expecting him to grab her so sudden.

the door burst open while harry and rubi run out to the yard. everyone else following them. he lets go of rubi's arm and mounts the broom.

he positions himself. then suddenly blasts off the ground yelling. rubi gasps as she sees him twirling in the air. everyone cheers harry on as he smiles on the fast broomstick.

rubi still feeling a tad scared for him she still claps for him.

rubi was walking towards the train with velty in her hands. patting her as velty purred.

she was currently walking with fred, george and leanne. fred and leanne bickering, george always taking leanne's side like the kiss ass he is.

"rubi?" she turns to see cedric frowning at her. her eyes widen. she hasn't spoken to cedric since the o.w.l.'s started. she wasn't ignoring him purposely, she just had a lot on her mind.

"ced" she breathes. he sticks his hands in his pockets frowning. "where have you been? ive been worried sick for you, every time i tried talking to you, you always walked the other way as if you were ignoring me."

she looks down shamefully. "erm- leanne can you take velty with you." leanne sees cedric and immediately nods. she takes velty away and pulls the twins from them.

"listen ced, i never meant to ignore you i just was having a terrible month and i needed time to think without worrying about other things. i swear i never meant to hurt you i just get selfish at times."

ced nods. "yeah you can." he agrees. she shifts uncomfortably. "look i like you so much, i've never liked a girl so much in my life and for a moment there i thought maybe you didn't really feel the same." he rocks back and forth on his heels nervously.

he sighs running a hand through his hair. "i wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my girlfriend-."

rubi jumps on cedric and presses their lips together. she wraps her legs around his waist and cedric grabs her thighs to steady her.

he immediately kisses back. it was very passionate and sweet. their lips moved in sync. he sorta tasted like honey for some reason. at least thats what rubi thought.

she was enjoying the kiss but their wasn't exactly a spark but she thought it was ok because maybe their not at that level yet.

on the other hand cedric felt a spark, it felt so right for him. on so many levels. rubi pushes away from the kiss making a pop sound as she stops.

she puts her forehead to his smiling softly "yes, ill be your girlfriend." he grins and lets out a breathy laugh. "im so glad you said yes, i dont know what i would have done if you said no."

she chuckles, shaking her head. suddenly they hear someone whistle. they both turn to see ron, harry and hermione standing there.

"oh bloody hell, did you really both have to snog right in front of me, i mean seriously." ron groans, pulling on his face exaggeratedly.

rubi rolls her eyes. she locks eyes with harry who's currently glaring at cedric's hand which is on her thighs.

rubi for some reason felt a bit ashamed doing this in front of harry so she quickly gets off of cedric.

hermione bounces up and down on her heels squealing. "are you both now official."

rubi smiles softly at her and nods. hermione squeals loudly before hugging rubi tightly. rubi chuckles hugging back just as tight.

"welcome to the family, first thing you should know, you have to be a red head so your gonna have to change your hair." ron says smirking. rubi rolls her eyes.

"dont listen to him ced, he's just jealous cause i already had kissed boy by his age" she kisses cedric's cheek. smiling cheekily.

ron throws her a deadly glare. "fuck off will ya?" he growls. she shrugs innocently before pulling cedric to the train by the shirt.

they had already reached platform 9 and 3/4. before she left she kissed cedric once again passionately. "owl me when you can ok?" she breathes, grinning.

he nods smiling like a madman. he pecks her on the lips a few time before letting her go.

she pushes her cart towards her parents and siblings. fred wiggles his eyebrows at me knowingly. "was that cedric diggory you were snogging young lady." arthur says to his daughter while his arms crossed.

rubi shifts uncomfortably. "erm- no?" she smiles sweetly. he glares at her. "next time you introduce me first and then you can snog the bloke if you want but only when you ask for permission." arthur raises an eyebrow at her.

she nods understandingly. he breaks out in to a smile and she runs in to his arms. "hi dad." she snuggles in to him, smiling at his familiar scent.

"hello my ladybug." ladybug was the first muggle bug my dad found interesting. and rubi was the first person he told about it so he called her ladybug ever since.

rubi always found it quite cringy but she loved her dad to much to hurt his feelings.

"hi sweetheart." molly purrs as she sees her daughter. rubi pulls away from her dad and hugs her mom tightly. "hi mum."

"you look gorgeous sweetheart, have you been eating good? if you haven't its fine cause when we get home were having a feast, how does that sound?" molly she grins at rubi.

rubi nods. feeling very joyous around her parents again. harry walks up to them and smiles. molly practically tramples rubi when she sees harry.

"hello my child, how are you?! you look so handsome. have you been eating good?!" molly bombards harry with questions about his health.

rubi giggles quietly to herself as she sees harry with a bit of uncomfortableness on his face at how much attention she was giving him.

when finally she pulls away from him she goes to hug ginny. harry sees rubi giggling looking at him.

he grins shaking his head. "sod off!" she grins and immediately wraps her arms around him, pulling him in for a hug.

"am i gonna see you this summer?" she asks when she pulls away. his eyebrows furrow. "about what?" he questions.

"about the quidditch world cup, i expected for ron to ask you about it?" harry shakes his head frowning. "oh well i'll ask mum and dad, ill send you a letter when they say yes." she smiles.

he smiles back. she kisses his cheek. "bye harry." she pulls away walking up to her father. arthur grins at her and throws his arm around her helping her with her cart.
