《Their Human》Chapter twenty seven: late

After dinner, Sei and I excused ourselves and went to speak. For the first time since I got here, we went outside.
The area we went in was pretty isolated, which was good, and it looked absolutely beautiful. The moon here was brighter than I've ever seen, shining over the land and lighting everything up. We walked into a garden-like area that had a pond and beautiful red roses. There was a bench in front of the pond, where we went to sit.
Sei looked inside the pond, as if checking for something. When he saw that it was empty, he turned to look at me. He was honestly so beautiful, his pale glittery skin sparkling under the moonlight. His hair was gently swaying in the cool breeze. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. He seemed to really be at peace here.
When I realized that he wasn't going to say anything, I opened my mouth to speak, "Sei, I just wanted to apologize for hurting your feelings earlier today. I did not mean to make you feel like I cared for Damien more than you. I care about you and Silas more than I have ever cared for anyone."
Sei looked at me carefully, as if he was checking if I was telling the truth or not. I was telling the truth. I really did care about them. I held his hand, squeezing it gently. "You mean so much to me. I don't want to lose you because of this."
"You'll never lose Sei." He mumbled softly, staring down at my hand. "Sei is just jealous."
"Of who? Damien?" I asked him. Sei nodded slowly.
I let go of his hand and held his cheek, turning my body to face him. "Sei, there is nothing for you to worry about. Damien means nothing to me anymore, just as I mean nothing to him. He isn't a good man and I realized that days ago. I really don't see him that way anymore. He's my friend."
"I don't want you to be friends." Sei grumbled, just like Silas usually does. I smiled at him, he was a really possessive man. Surprisingly more possessive than his brother.
"Sei, there's nothing wrong with being friends with people of the opposite sex." I told him.
"You want to sex him?" He gasped, pushing my hand off his face.
Wait, no!
"No! It means gender. Sex also means the gender of a person!" I explained myself quickly. Sei furrowed his brows and calmed down, nodding slowly.

"I need more English lessons." He said softly.
"Who teaches you English anyways?" I asked him with an eye roll.
"Some human girl." Sei said, making me quickly look at him. There is another human here!? A female human? That's perfect!
"Can I meet her?" I asked him, making him shake his head no.
"Aww, but I have no friends. I'm bored everyday."
"Everyday? You been here for one day." He chuckled, shaking his head. One? I feel like I've been here for months!
"You told me that I can't be friends with Damien. Can't I be friends with this girl then? I can't sleep with another girl!" I told him. During the time I was looking out the window, I had read from one of Silas' books that there is no such thing as gay people or lesbians. It's common in other islands but Eclipsia Lunaria forbids it. Apparently demons still do it because they don't follow no ones rules but their own.
Sei thought about it for a second and nodded. "Fine, tomorrow I take you with me to english class."
I clapped my hands happily. "So are we okay?" I asked him.
"No," he said, making me pout. What more must I do?
"Kiss Sei and we be okay." He said to me with a sweet grin. I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him to a deep kiss. Sei's lips were surprisingly warm and smooth. I wonder why Silas has cold lips. Sei wasted no time and slipped his tongue in, making me gasp into the kiss. He tightly grabbed my waist and pulled me on top of him. I climbed onto his lap, still kissing him roughly. His hands felt me all over, making me sigh in content. He playfully bit my lower lip and pulled away, smiling widely.
I laughed at how happy he looked.
"You're so cute." I told him, squeezing his cheeks. He pouted at me and smiled again, unable to contain himself. The warmth in my body slowly died down but it didn't completely vanish.
"Sei is very happy." He said, making me smile. Honestly, I was too. I didn't want this moment to end. "I'm happy too." I told him, pecking his lips. He smiled and stood up with me still on him, making me cling onto him like a koala on a tree. I wrapped my legs around his narrow torso and laid my head on his shoulder. This time I won't think of anyone else but him.

I yawned, getting sleepy. He was really warm and him walking felt like I was being rocked to sleep like a baby. I closed my eyes, melting into his arms. Soon enough, I fell asleep.

I was in a bedroom, one that looked just like the one Sei and Silas used. I was standing inside the closet, staring at my reflection from the full body mirror. My black hair was straightened and tied back into a neat low bun. I smiled and spun around happily, realizing that I was in a large gown. It was a beautiful white gown, it looked like a wedding dress. Next to me on a small chair was a bouquet of white roses.
I smiled, looking happy. I spun around again, looking at myself and making sure that everything was perfect. A woman walked in, dressed in the blue dresses the maids wore. "Don't forget your crown, your gracefulness." She said, holding up a beautiful gold crown. It was covered in hundreds of beautiful diamonds. I stared at it in awe as she carefully placed it on my head. I looked at myself again.
"Right, my queen. It's time for your wedding. Your kings are waiting for you." She said with a head bow. She handed me the bouquet of roses and I followed her outside. I made my way to the door, stopping in my tracks when a man with bright red eyes looked at me with an evil grin.
"Come to my room" He said, "or else your husbands get it."
...
My eyes snapped open, deep and heavy breaths escaping through my body. I quickly sat up on the bed. I looked around, finding myself between Silas and Sei, who were both sleeping soundly next to me. I ran my hands through my tangled hair, calming down when I realized that it was just a dream.
More like a dream turned into a nightmare.
I looked behind Sei, remembering that there was a clock placed on the counter. My eyes widened when I read the time and I quickly climbed out of bed. Alexander is going to murder me.
11:58pm
I had two minutes to get to him and I didn't even know where his room was.
I made my way to the door, looking back at the twins before I opened it. The moonlight entering through a small gap between the curtains made it visible in the dark room. They had not heard me climbing out of bed.
I slowly opened the door and snuck out, leaving it open since I was going to come back. I quickly made my way down the hall. There was no way that his room would be near the twins'. They didn't seem to like each other. I walked towards the library, carefully opening the doors near it. I mentally prayed that I didn't bump to another vampire or a demon that would harm me.
I opened a couple of more doors, my worry only increasing when they weren't his room. At this rate I would end up searching the whole house. The mansion was massive. I took another turn, trying to memorize them so I would be able to find my way back. The worst thing that could happen was me getting lost in here at night.
I stopped in front of another door, about to reach for the door handle when I heard disgusting noises coming from in there. It sounded like Sapphire and she sounded like she was having the time of her life.
"Yes, good mousie! Yes, oh yes!"
"Use your tongue like that, baby. Get it deep in there."
Sounds like Damien is getting his reward.
I quickly moved away from the door, not wanting to hear anymore. If this was Sapphire's room, then I could only hope that Alexander's room is nearby.
I walked further down the hallway, starting to feel rather cold. I rubbed my arms, my eyes widening when I didn't feel Sei's hoodie on me. I looked down at myself, my eyes widening in horror. I was only in my panties and bra! I was panicking and rushing so much that I didn't even realize that I was nearly naked.
Alexander couldn't see me like this. I had to go back and wear something. I knew that it was already past midnight so I was already screwed.
I turned around and stopped when I hit a solid figure. I stumbled back and looked up, my heart dropping when I saw bright red eyes glaring down at me.
"You're late." Alexander snarled.

I was unsatisfied with how the story went. I rushed things and left things to happen off-screen a lot. So I'm rewriting it, this time dividing the acts into their separate books to allow the characters to properly develop. The story will mostly stay the same but I'll fix all the plot holes I found and change some character motivations here or there.
