《Their Human》Chapter eighteen: their homeland

"Can you just drop me off over there?" I asked Damien, pointing towards the entrance of the woods. It was the same one Sarah and I had used at night. Seeing it made me feel saddened all over again.

There was a narrow dirt trail leading up to the tall, closely packed trees. Even with the sun out, there was still darkness between the trees, showing just how little light made its way through the treetops.

"There's no need for that. We're all driving to a motel just outside of the city. It's a couple of miles away so that thing can't track us down." Damien said, driving past the spot I told him to stop.

I turned to glare at him, "stop. I'd like to get off."

"Why? It's not safe for you. We're in the middle of nowhere. Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

"Babe, just let her leave. It's her choice." Sharlene intervened, rubbing his shoulders from the back seat.

"I just want to ensure that you guys are safe." Damien said, obviously getting frustrated. Sharlene and I stared at each other, her rolling her eyes and me shaking my head. He slowed down, the car stopping in the middle of the road.

We were metres away from where I had asked him to stop so there was no point in even getting down. I couldn't walk back all that way. "Nevermind, Damien. Just keep driving-"

"Nobody get out of the car." Damien said, staring at the road in front of him. We all turned to look in front of us, my eyes widening in surprise.

"Silas..." I mumbled, my widened brown eyes staring at his tall figure that stood in the middle of the road. He had his hands in the pockets of his hoodie and he was in pants and sneakers, the same ones I found him wearing back at the lab. When and how did he get there?

"Subject MM2077. He really did escape." Damien mumbled, his mouth slowly gaping open. He was shocked and a slight bit scared. I looked back at Silas, my eyes moving towards the trees where a second figure came out from between them.

"Oh hell no." Sharlene said, staring as an exact replica of Silas stepped out of the trees, only with paler skin, lighter greyish and longer hair. Sei walked to Silas and stood next to him, both of them staring at the car.

"This has to be another level of bad luck." Sharlene mumbled to herself. "Drive! Now, Damien!" She shouted, Damien aggressively switching gears.

"No! Wait! They're here for me." I told them, making Damien stop the car and look at me in disbelief. I didn't blame his face, I would've given anyone else the same look if they told me that. I unlocked the door and stepped out before Damien could object or keep me from getting out.

"Get back in the car, are you crazy?" Sharlene said, making me slam the door. I stared right at the twins, my heart hammering in my chest. My chest felt warm as I walked closer to them, the heat slowly but surely spreading to the rest of my body. I didn't know what to call it, but there was a certain attraction I felt to them. A part of my heart... My soul was yearning to get closer to them. Perhaps it was the bond Silas spoke of. A bond that attracted me to two strangers.

I walked to them, the two men seeming to be only getting taller as I approched. Silas smirked at me and Sei only smiled warmly, making me involuntarily smile too.

"There's our little rose." Silas said, gently holding my wrist and pulling me towards him. Sei gently placed his hand around my neck and leaned down to kiss my forehead. "Finally," he whispered.

Sei let my neck go and held my other wrist, both of the men pulling me along with them towards the woods. I stared back at Sharlene's Toyota, seeing the both of them standing outside the car and staring at me in bewilderment.

"Don't worry about them. You'll be seeing them very soon." Silas spoke out coarsely. I nodded and followed them, my mind still unable to find an explanation to why I was blindly following two men, I just met, into the woods. The worst part about this was, I completely trusted them.

"Alright baby, this is the hard part." Silas said when we got far enough from the open road. I stopped and looked at them, waiting for them to continue talking.

"We can't show you the direction of our home, so we'll have to put you to sleep." He explained. I furrowed my brows at this but nodded anyways. Silas looked at Sei and motioned at him to step closer to me. Sei obeyed and stood in front of me, lifting my chin up with his index finger. His hands were delicate and they touched me like I was a fragile artifact. Everything he did, every look he gave me, every movement he made was so gentle and elegant. He reminded me of someone of royalty, with flawless movement and grace.

"Look at Sei." He whispered, leaning closer to me. I looked into his beautiful grey and red eyes, noticing that they slightly dialated. They slowly turned a shade of orange, a warm orange colour. I didn't speak as I looked at them in awe, truely fascinated by the sight. Suddenly, I could feel my own eyes closing, my whole body giving out. I stumbled back and fell into Silas's arms, losing my consciousness.

I don't know what they did after that, but I'm assuming that they carried me to their homeland.

My tired brown eyes slowly opened, fluttering closed every now and then. I could hear the faint sound of birds chirping, a lovely breeze blowing against my whole body. My body felt comfortable on whatever surface I was laying on.

I turned my head, looking towards the direction where the cool wind was coming from. It was a large window, it's vertexes and sides outlined with what looked like gold boarders. I looked around the whole room I was in, my eyes slightly widening at how big it was.

Where was I?

The last thing I remembered was Sei staring right into my eyes, a orange glow coming from them. I had passed out after that, completely unaware of everything else that happened afterwards.

The bedroom I was in was massive. It was painted a dark red, darker than maroon. Beautiful paintings in golden frames were hung on those walls. The ceiling was white and had a far too large chandelier hanging on it. Below it, on the floor, was a large white fur mat. I sat up on the king sized bed I was in and slid the white silk sheets off me, slowly climbing off the bed.

I was dressed in nothing but an oversized white shirt, making me feel naked. It was warm in the room. I walked to the window and looked outside, my eyes widening in awe.

I'm in paradise.

It was absolutely beautiful outside. I was probably on the second floor, the view below me looking like one out of a dream. In the distance, there was a crystal clear blue lake, so clear that I could see several fish swimming inside even from how far I was. There were bright green fields of grass, colourful buds of flowers growing around.

There were horses grazing near that lake, all of them white stallions. I could see a lot of mansions in the far distance but they were all far apart.

This must be a place with only rich people.

I turned away from the window when I heard the door opening behind me. In walked Silas, me being able to tell it was him from his blue hair and almost tan skin. He looked attractive as usual, his curls tied half up and half down, dressed in a full black suit.

Why did he look so fancy so early in the morning?

"Good morning, little rose." He greeted me, with his usual emotionless expression. I smiled anyways and gave him a small hello. "Did you rest well?"

I nodded and walked closer to him, standing in front of his tall figure. He placed his hand at the back of my neck and pulled me closer, his lips pressing on my neck. I sighed softly as he continued pressing gentle yet hot kisses on my neck.

Please don't stop...

Please stop...

No don't...

Yeah, don't...

Silas pulled away from me and looked at me in confusion, "You want me to stop or not?" He asked me, making me widen my eyes. I forgot that he could read my mind. I looked down in embarrassment, my cheeks burning up.

Silas scoffed softly and held my hand, pulling me towards another open door. I could see some clothes hung and stacked neatly inside the shelves, making me realize that it was a closet.

"Wear a nice dress and we'll go downstairs." He told me, pointing inside the closet.

"Why do I have to dress up nicely? It's really early."

"You're meeting our family." He answered nonchalantly. I nodded and walked away from the closet, heading to another door. I opened it and found the bathroom, stepping inside and closing the door behind me. I was officially going to meet their family. What were they like? As sweet as Sei or as aggressive as Silas? It made me nervous just thinking about them.

The bathroom was beautiful and it was huge. Toilet, tub and sink were white with gold boarders on it. The glass shower doors were also bordered by gold and it took up almost half of the bathroom. The bathtub was also huge, almost as big as a jacuzzi.

Why were they so big?

"How else are the three of us supposed to fit in there to do the nasty?" Silas' voice spoke in my head, surprising me.

Oh gosh...
