《Their Human》Chapter seven: against the wall

"Hey," Damien greeted me as he stepped inside the house. He wiped his shoes on the mat before fully stepping in. He was dressed in grey tracksuits and white sneakers. It was strange seeing him without his white lab coat on but he still looked good nonetheless.
Too bad he's already taken.
"Hey..." I greeted back, putting my phone on the table. I felt awkward because I was still in my red dress and shoes, having been too scared to go change when I was by myself. "Can I get you something to drink? I haven't made dinner yet."
"Don't worry about it. I'll order us a pizza, you seem to need some warmer clothes. It's freezing in here." He told me, making me look around and widen my eyes. He's right, it was really cold in here. I must've forgotten to switch on my heater when I got inside. I can't believe I never noticed while dressed like this. I quickly walked to the living room and switched it on, warm air immediately blasting out if it.
"Make yourself at home, I'm going to take a quick shower." I told him, turning and running upstairs. I went into my room and closed my door, having a mind debate on whether I should lock it or not. My body told me to leave it unlocked, just so he could follow me and join me. Then the fantasy I had of him in my shower could come true. My heart wanted this and at the same time it didn't.
My mind was just begging me to not do it, but why should I listen to it? It's the cause of all these fantasies and now when there's a chance of them coming true, it wants out?
Stubbornly, I left the door unlocked and walked to the bathroom, slipping all of my clothes off. When I was fully naked, I took a clean towel and hung it where I could be able to reach for it when I finished showering and turned on the hot water. When it was perfect, I stepped in and sighed in content as the water cascaded down my body.
It felt absolutely amazing.
I turned my back on the door and faced the water, pouring rose scented body wash all over my body and scrubbing myself with it. I inhaled the fragrance with a smile. I reached to put the bottle of body wash back on the small waterproof shelf I had installed in my shower and took the hair conditioner.
I squeaked in surprise when I felt it being taken out of my hands and heard the bottle being opened and squirted behind me. I bit my lower lip and closed my eyes when I felt large hands massaging my hair. He did it gently and slowly, making me yearn for more of his touch.

This is so wrong but it feels so right.
Normally, I would've felt guilt when doing this but something inside me is actually feeling drawn to him this time. Something is begging me to do it. It wasn't just my body and heart, my mind wanted it just as bad.
He finished with my hair and rinsed it under the water. After that he roughly pushed me against the wall, the cold suface making my breath hitch. His hands felt every inch of my body, like he had never felt it before and that made me moan softly. He felt my hips and thighs, grabbing them so roughly and at times so gently.
Cold lips kissed my shoulders and back, making me arch it. It was strange, I've never felt Damien's lips so cold before but it felt good, I wanted him to kiss me again. It left a burning feeling on my skin wherever he kissed, and he kissed me everywhere he could.
His lips soon reached my thighs and he used his hands to part my legs. I tried turning around, wanting to see everything he did but he just pushed me back against the wall, not letting me see a thing. His hot breath fanned my most private area, making my insides twist into knots. I loudly moaned in pleasure when his tongue plunged right inside me, the pleasure being unlike any other I've felt.
He then stopped and stood up, pushing me harder against the wall while kissing my neck softly. His hard body was keeping me up by pushing me against the cold tiled wall, while he rubbed my waist. With one final kiss on my shoulder, he let me go and exited the shower, not saying any word to me.

After having the most amazing shower of my life, I stepped out and grabbed my towel to dry myself, still pretty drunk in pleasure. I still didn't understand why he kept pushing me against the wall but that was the last thing on my mind.
What I was really thinking about, was why I don't feel a slight bit guilty about what we just did?
It felt different from all the other times, that's for sure. Damien always spoke whenever we did this, he always wanted me to look at him and he always went painfully rough with me. This time he was completely silent, he didn't want me to look at him and he had his moments were he was gentle. It was odd but I liked it. It felt amazing and so much better than the other times.
His poor fiancé...
I wore my purple silk nightgown and braided my hair after drying it, wearing my slippers afterwards and making my way downstairs. I was starving at this point and I needed my bed urgently. I honestly thought he'd still be in my room getting dressed as well when I got out but he must be quick because when I found him, he was at the door, fully dressed, taking a pizza from the delivery guy.

"Hey Brandon!" I greeted the delivery guy. I had become familiar with him over the past few years. It helped since I usually ordered pizza too. "Hey! I was wondering who this buff chap was. You got yourself a nice lad over here." Brandon chuckled.
"Woah there, that's my coworker." I laughed, making Damien roll his eyes and walk away with the pizza. Brandon laughed and said goodbye, driving away on his delivery bike.
I closed the door and locked it, walking to the living room to find Damien already eating the first slice. There was a bottle of red wine and two glasses placed on the table. I sat down next to him, waiting for him to break the ice. When he wasn't speaking, I opened my mouth to tell him something I've been telling him for ages.
"We can't do what we did again."
He looked at me in confusion while still chewing his pizza and nodded anyways. Please don't act stupid. We did what we did so let's just talk about it and move on.
"We need to learn to be professional around each other, just like coworkers. The damage is too much to even be friends. Let's speak only if it's work related." I explained. He swallowed the food and put the half eaten slice down.
"I thought you already made that clear at work." He shrugged blankly. Hello? Have you completely just not acknowledged that you literally devoured me in the shower?
You know what? Let me just drop the subject for now.
I took my laptop and placed it on the table, opening the video footage. He watched carefully and I pointed to where I had seen it. Just a few feet across the street. He raised his eyebrows when he saw it, seeming to be trying to understand what that actually was.
"I've never seen anything like that before. It's huge." He said in bewilderment.
"If you had to just guess, what animal would you call it?" I asked him.
"A dinosaur? That's obviously a giant lizard of some sort, although I can't tell if that's fur or scales." He mumbled, zooming into the footage.
"There's a girl at the lab that could make this footage more clear for us. We should definitely ask her about it in the morning." He suggested.
"Great, who is she?"
"The one that was meant to be partnered up with you but failed, Sharlene." He said boredly. I frowned at the mentioning of her name but quickly masked it up. I didn't want Damien asking a bunch of questions about it.
I yawned, making Damien look at me in amusement. "Eat up and let's call it a night." He said, picking up his pizza. I nodded and picked a slice up too. We ate and talked some more about what that thing in the video could have been and the possibilities of it being responsible for all the disappearances of the people in the city, Moraineville.
Not once did he flirt at me or look at me in the lustful way he usually looked at me in. It confused me especially after what we did a few minutes ago.
"Are we ever going to talk about what happened between us tonight?" I asked him after we finished eating. He looked at me in confusion again, making me frown. His ignorance was starting to irritate me.
"You came into my shower and you... You know? Did things." I reminded him. He looked up at the stairs that led to my bedroom.
"Tonight?" He asked.
"Yes, are you kidding me? Just admit that it happened." I said, standing up.
"Akielia, you rejected me at work today. I haven't done anything ever since except for making snarky comments." He said, also standing up. He looked genuinely confused and that scared me. Was I hallucinating? No, I know when something is real. That was real. I can still feel the addictive burns his kisses left on my skin.
Who's kisses? It wasn't Damien.
"I don't understand... Someone was in my room. Someone touched me." I said, starting to panic.
"I was sitting right here, I would've seen someone coming through the gate from the window." Damien looked back at my window, he was pretty shocked too. "Did you see who it was?"
No...
That's why he kept pushing me against the wall. He didn't want me seeing anything. That's why it didn't feel like Damien, it wasn't him.
"Oh God," I said, looking around the house. I didn't feel safe here anymore. How could I feel safe after a stranger touched me in my shower.
"Whoever it was must've been the same person who was tapping on your window. He must have access to your house." Damien said. He placed his hands on my shoulders and pulled me closer. "You aren't safe here anymore. You can't stay here."
"If this person wasn't seen entering or leaving the premise, then he may have always been inside here without you knowing."

LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER (Completed)
Lady Chatterley's Lover is a novel by D. H. Lawrence, first published privately in 1928 in Italy, and in 1929 in France and Australia. An unexpurgated edition was not published openly in the United Kingdom until 1960, when it was the subject of a watershed obscenity trial against the publisher Penguin Books. Penguin won the case, and quickly sold 3 million copies. The book was also banned for obscenity in the United States, Canada, Australia, India and Japan. The book soon became notorious for its story of the physical (and emotional) relationship between a working class man and an upper class woman, its explicit descriptions of sex, and its use of then-unprintable words.
