"Hey! Wake up." I heard as someone slightly tapped on my cheek. "Come On, Crys. We are almost there." I slowly opened my eyes from my deep slumber and realized my surroundings. We had just landed in Bali after a day long flight and I was so tired that I ended up sleeping on Adrien's shoulder while we were in the car.

"I am tired." I said, rubbing my eyes. It was my first time traveling for so long and it was really hectic.

"I know. But don't worry. You can sleep again once we check in at the resort. On the bed. In my arms." Adrien sexily whispered in my ear and I rolled my eyes, stretching a little.

The car that Mr. Olsen had sent for us turned and crossed a huge gate. I looked through the window and was stunned by the view. There were miles covered with trimmed grass on both the sides of the driveway. The car came to halt and we both stepped out. The fresh air hit my face and I took a deep breath, enjoying the atmosphere.

The view was a sight I'd pay to watch. Variety of flowers near the fences, a large water fountain a little away from the gate and bushes cut beautifully in the shape of the resort's name.

BLIZZARD

A porter carried our luggage inside and we walked hand-in-hand. The interior was so stunning and fresh that I felt myself relax by looking at it. We walked to the reception and a lady in a blue pencil skirt and maroon shirt, paired with a matching blue scarf around the neck smiled.

"Welcome to Blizzard, Sir." She smiled at Adrien, completely ignoring my presence. Adrien gave her a forced smile.

"Adri-"

"Mr. Adrien Russell. We were informed about your arrival by Mr. Olsen." She gave a toothy smile to him and he nodded.

We waited for her to give us our room keys while Adrien looked around and I looked at her. She kept stealing glances at him which annoyed me to a great extent.

Back off, Woman. He is my Husband.

I glared at her, which she obviously didn't pay attention to.

"Here sir." She called and handed Adrien the room card and sneakily slid a yellow paper along with it while slowly brushing her fingers on his hand, purposely.

"Thank you." Adrien said.

"It's my pleasure." She bit her maroon-painted lip making me want to gag.

I was inches away from strangling her but Adrien pulled me along with him to the elevator. I noticed that Adrien wasn't aware of the paper but I was too curious for my own good. So, I pulled the paper out of his hand and read it while entering the elevator.

My nose flared as I read it. It was a number along with a name below it. 'Layla'

"What the hell!" If it wasn't for the doors of the elevators that shut right on time, that bi- no Crystal. Don't dirty your mouth for her. You're better than this. -- that woman would have had her neck in my hands.

"What's wrong?" Adrien asked as I crumpled the paper ruthlessly.

"That receptionist, Layla, I suppose, was flirting with you." I pouted, making him chuckle.

"I didn't notice. I had better things to look at. The bright interior, the refreshing view and of course, my very beautiful wife." He winked.

Adrien had gotten a lot playful lately. He would flirt with me every time he got a chance and would go all cheesy and romantic and I am not complaining. We reached the suite that was booked for us by Mr. Olsen himself. 'Honeymoon Suite' Said the door.

Adrien unlocked the door and we moved inside only for my breath to be knocked out. The room had large windows, from the ceiling to the floor, with a breathtaking view of the ocean in sight. Everything looked so inviting that I couldn't resist running around like a child. But, of course, the exhaustion in me demanded a peaceful sleep, so the next thing I did was plop on the bed, which was as soft as cotton, for that matter.

I heard Adrien chuckle and I looked at him to see him shaking his head at me with a knowing smile. "Freshen up, then you can rest." He said and like a kid listening to her father, I followed his instruction.

I was back on the bed in no time and within minutes, strong arms slid around my waist from my back. I snuggled deeper into him as his body touched mine and soon we were asleep while cuddling each other.

"Rise and Shine! Sleepy head!" A soft pillow hit my face along with a deep voice that I am very well aware of, yelling in my ear. I groaned and turned around, rolling on the bed.

"That's not how you wake someone up!" I yelled with my head stuffed in a pillow.

"I had better ways, but I chose this one." Adrien yanked me up and snapped out of my slumber. "Now, get ready. We have plans with Mr. Olsen for lunch." He informed me and I nodded.

He started digging into his bag and I took a chance to hit his head hard with the same pillow.

"Ow!" He yelled.

"Serves you right!" I sternly said and ran in the bathroom while giggling as he took a step towards me while glaring.

I quickly changed into a pink jumpsuit and got ready for lunch. We both were escorted by a staff member of the resort to Mr. Olsen. It was an open restaurant where he had invited us. As we came into his sight, he stood up from his seat with a huge grin.

"Adrien! My boy!" He hugged him with enthusiasm when Adrien returned. He smiled at me too. "Welcome. Hope you liked the place."

"We loved it. It's beautiful." I answered and he smiled proudly.

"This is my wife, Janice." He brought forward a woman, holding her by her waist. Her tan skin and cheerful smile, just like her husband, made her look extremely beautiful. Adrien introduced me to her and she pulled me in a sweet hug. We then seated and ordered lunch while engaging ourselves in small talks. Talking to the couple was fun. They were both cheerful and loving that it made me feel comfortable in no time. After lunch, Mr. Olsen suggested that he'd show us around the resort and we gladly agreed.

The sun had set and Adrien and I were back in our suite planning on what we had next on our list. After many debates, we finally decided to go to the bar. As much as I hated being in crowded places, I agreed because I was really in a mood to party.

I wore a black mini dress and put some effort in my nude makeup before tying my hair in a tight ponytail and walking out of the dressing room. Adrien, as usual, was already ready. He wore a black round-neck t-shirt paired with a plack ripped jeans and gray blazer. A long silver chain hung around his neck as he played darts while waiting for me.

"Let's go." I said, coming closer to him. I felt his eyes on me while I picked my phone and clutch from the bedside. As I turned to look at him, his dark eyes examined me from head to toe. A second later, he averted his eyes and clenched his jaw, making me feel a bit strange.

He put his phone in his pocket and walked towards me. Resting his hand on my hip, he whispered. "You look... scandalous." The way his eyes ran over me again clearly said that I didn't look bad like I had thought earlier.

Curling my hands around his neck, I asked innocently. "Is that bad?"

"No, not at all." He answered almost immediately. "Just don't blame me if I happen to punch every single man out there in the eyes." I chuckled at his possessiveness before putting my hand in his as we walked out together.

The bar was as expected loud and crowded. There were people dancing and bumping into each other while they reeked of alcohol. I had started to nauseate until Adrien led us away from the mob to the bar.

"I want to get drunk tonight." I told Adrien with a grin.

"Have you ever been before?" He asked me.

"Yes. In college." I cringed as I recalled that night. "And after that I had sworn to never drink."

"Why? What did you do?" He asked with a glint of excitement.

"Ugh. Don't even get me started. I made out with a bartender-"

"You did what?!" I heard him screech as he looked at me with wide eyes.

"Yes, And then-"

"No. Stop. I don't want to hear anymore of it." I giggled at his reaction and decided not to continue and traumatize him. At first he said that he wouldn't let me drink but after I gave him my puppy eyes and told him that it's been years that I had felt so carefree, he let me have a few drinks within the limit. After just 2 shots of vodka, I had started to feel tipsy so Adrien asked me to dance with him to stop me from drinking further.

We danced like there was no tomorrow. At first, we wildly moved with the music, then we simply threw ourselves in each other's arms and got lost. I didn't care how there were other men giving me a dirty look. I didn't care that there were other women staring at Adrien hungrily. I didn't mind Adrien's sinful hands roaming all over the curves of my body. All I knew, that I was his and he was mine.

When we were both too tired to dance anymore, we went back to the bar. Adrien's phone rang and he had to escape the loud music to answer it. "Don't go anywhere, Crys. I'll be back in a minute."

I gave him a thumbs up and he quickly walked out while I rested my head on the bar counter. A minute later, I heard an unfamiliar voice. "Can I buy this beautiful lady a drink?" I looked up to see a blonde man smirking at me. I looked over his shoulder, looking for Adrien but he wasn't in sight.

Feeling uncomfortable, I scooted a bit away from him and said, "No, thank you."

"Come on. One drink will do no harm." He insisted and I ignored him, putting my head back on the counter. I hated how helpless I would become without anyone being there for me. I had spent half of my life living alone but I never learned to stand up for myself. How long would I be depending on others to fight for me?

I felt a pat on my shoulder and again I looked up to see the same blonde man and this time, something snapped inside me. "Can't you just take a hint and get lost. I said I didn't want to drink with you." I yelled and he looked taken aback.

He looked around, embarrassed as other people near us looked at him. "I-I was just-"

"Leave me alone." I gritted at him and the next second, he fled out of my sight. I didn't know if it was the alcohol or the speech I had given to myself that gave me this courage but it was definitely satisfactory. Since Adrien was still not here, I decided to take some advantage.

"Excuse me." I called the bartender. "Four shots of Vodka, please."
