Prompt 2: "Pretend you never saw that, I can't stand it when you look so scared~"

Even though you were Ciel's older sister and the two of you shared the same blood, you both were stark opposites and your personalities had a huge difference from each other's. While Ciel was cold, sometimes ruthless and acted like a little psychopath most of the times you were kind, friendly and gentle. You were the one who always doted on your younger brother which was why he never behaved rudely with you nor did he ever make any sarcastic comments to you till date. It was because even though he acts like love was a waste of time, he did care for you being his older sister and admired the way you were so kind and caring to everyone, even the lowest of scum who didn't deserve it

The other day you went downtown to your favorite book shop and decided to purchase a nice book for you to read. You opened the door to the shop and found your friend Andrew sitting there reading a magazine and you waved to him as you asked him if there were any new books that were interesting to read. He recommended some books for you and you purchased those and while you were paying for your books, you didn't know why his face was all red and he looked like he was flustered when your hand touched his. "Are you all right? You look a bit unwell" you said with concern laced in your featured and he nodded and replied "Actually there's something I've been meaning to ask you. Would you like to get dinner with me sometime?" You agreed and you didn't really see this as a date, you just saw this as a regular hangout with a friend and didn't think much about it. However when Ciel found out about this meeting of yours with that 'pest' as he called your friend, he was furious. Not even baking his favorite treats or making his calming delicious steaming cup of Earl Grey tea could dissipate his temper. He literally flung all the chess pieces from the chess board in front of him and immediately told you to stop hanging out with him but you refused to do so and he ordered Sebastian to take of him when you weren't around. And by take care, I mean literally dropping him off a freaking building end blaming it on gravity as a natural cause of death

You found out about his death and you were immensely furious about what Ciel did. You had no desire or intention to stay at the Phantomhive manor anymore and so that that night you packed your things and left the town. By the time your brother would notice that you were gone, it would be too late because you were in a train somewhere to the other end of the country. You had no particular destination in mind, you decided to go wherever your heart and mind would take you. The train screeched to a halt after a few hours and announced that Kings Cross was the last station and you had to get off. You got down the train and you hired a taxi to take you to a nearby hotel where you could stay there for a while. However when you were in the taxi something strange happened that you couldn't comprehend. Your surroundings suddenly became dark and cold, the windows started freezing like as if it was zero degrees outside and suddenly you saw a dark hooded rotten fearsome creature with long fingers and your eyes widened in surprise. The driver of the cab started twitching and as you were about to ask him if he was all right he started violently shuddering and moaning and kept muttering something like "Please...it's so dark... cold... stop" and the creature shattered the window as you screamed in fear and covered your head from being pierced with the glass pieces

You opened the door and decided to make a run for it but you bumped into a man with black robes and a stoic expression as he looked at you with surprise. "Please... I need your help, there's a creature after me. I don't know what it is but... it's hooded and looked like death... I'm not lying, please... I really need you to believe me!" you pleaded with the man and he quirked his eyebrow and replied "I'm aware. Worry not" as he pulled you back when the Dementor came towards you and clung to the man in fear as he held his wand out and muttered "Expecto Patronum". The Dementor hissed and recoiled back and disappeared as you thanked the man In front of you for saving you

The cab driver became all right and his memories were wiped so he'd forget about the incident. The man introduced himself as Snape and you asked him if he was a wizard. He stopped in his tracks for a moment and you spoke "It's all right. I won't tell anyone. After all, I've seen demons from hell so nothing really surprises me anymore" He was intrigued by you and decided not to obliviate your memories. He asked you if you were heading somewhere and you shook your head and told him that you had no destination in mind. For some reason Snape already felt protective of you and he decided to take you under his care as he brought you back home with him. He explained that he was there at the forest because he needed to hunt down that Dementor, they were running amok and rampant these days. He also wrote a letter to Professor Dumbledore mentioning you and you were granted access to come to Hogwarts and work as an assistant teacher for Potions

"But.. I don't know the first thing about Potions" you spoke fearfully and he told you not to worry as he guided you and gave you a crash course for Potions in 2 weeks before Hogwarts would reopen from the summer vacation. You reached Hogwarts after the vacation ended and its been a while since you've been a teaching assistant for Potions and you had to admit, you were having a lot of fun. Originally Snape would always be in a grumpy mood like he had the burden of the entire world on his shoulders but these days he was a bit more bearable. Instead of taking away 80 and 50 points from houses he couldn't stand namely Gryffindor, he took only 20 or 30 points away and all the students were convinced that he had a soft spot for you. Why, just the other day when you accidentally spilled a potion on the ground and broke a flask he told you it was all right and asked you to be more careful next time. Had anyone else been in your place their self esteem would have been ripped to shreds

Snape wanted to scoff at the thought of having a soft spot for you. He just cares for you because he sees you as a defenseless little naive thing with eyes that always somehow mysteriously sparkles with hope despite everything going on around in life, the way your soft hands always brushed against his and your sweet melodious voice calming him down whenever he had a bad day or when one of his students did anything stupid.... Merlin's pants, he did have feelings for you. He wanted to tell his heart to stop beating so fast when he's around you but his heart had a mind of its own. He slowly started to get more possessive of you and he despised it when you talked to someone else. Can't you see, all they want is to take advantage of you! The other day when the two of you went to Hogsmeade, the bar tender at The Three Broomsticks started flirting with you but you were none the wiser to realize he was flirting with you. However his eyes narrowed with irritation and annoyance and he silently chanted a spell to fling a knife to the bartenders head almost skewering his head from his body in the process. "I must apologize. I've seen an insect near your head. Insects prevent business after all" snarled Snape as he grabbed your hand dragged you out from the bar. Likewise he always seemed to need your help with something or the other when you were talking to someone else other than him

You told him about the real reason you've fled home and he made a promise to always keep you safe no matter what. However his plans were interrupted when some random pest decided to ask you out. There was no way he was going to let that little pest live for daring to ask you out, his beloved. He dragged him to the cellar of the Honeydukes shop and carried out his business but he didn't realize you decided to snoop in the Honeydukes cellar. You saw Snape torture the guy who asked you out and you were horrified. Why was your life filled with psychopaths who'd always kill your loved ones? You knew you had to make a run for it but Snape caught you and you begged him to let you go but no avail. "Please let me go. I won't tell anyone you're doing this. Why are you doing this?" You cried but he gently wiped your tears away and shushed you and spoke "Pretend you never saw that, I can't stand it when you look so scared"

Snape muttered a spell to put you to sleep and apparated back to his house where he put you on the bed and brushed your hair strands from your face, kissing your head softly. He has you right where he wants and he's not going to let you leave him, ever
