Neville as it is is a really precious cinnamon roll and a bean, like oh my freakin' gods, he's just so WHOLESOME🥺 Yes, I might be biased to him lol. Neville as a yandere would be protective of you, obsessive and really really clingy to you and rightfully so. I mean, people do make fun of him and he feels like he doesn't have too many friends but whenever you talk to him, he feels like he's mattered, he's important. You give him validation and a reason for him not to lose hope or become sad

You always stand up for him whenever the Slytherins pick on him. The other day Malfoy was calling Neville a coward for not being able to handle a baby Blast Ended Skrewt properly and you could see Neville turn beet red with embarrassment and trying to hide his face. You just glared at Malfoy and his group who were laughing like gargoyles and so you decided to bring up the incident when Malfoy was turned into a ferret by Professor Alastor Moody and the others around you snickered to themselves, especially Harry, Ron and Hermione. Neville was really grateful that you stood up for him but when one of his Slytherin pals pulled out their wands to hex you, you hexed them back but not before getting slightly injured, causing a really minor scratch on your arm, like a scratch you'd receive from a paper cut

Neville of course saw that scratch and felt immensely and really guilty. You told him not to worry but au contraire, he was VERY worried for you, what if that scratch could lead to something more harmful or have other effects? It was his fault you got that and you could be in pain even though according to his opinion you could be masking your pain to be brave, which he admires, but he needed to tend to your injury. Neville's strong subject was Herbology and he researched about some spells or concoction to make that scratch of yours disappear. When he came up to you with a concoction in his hand, you consumed it and when you did, the scar disappeared. You felt touched and grateful for what he's done and when you hugged him, he felt like his heart would stop beating at any given second

Slowly he starts growing dependent and clingy to you. He has some serious self esteem issues but whenever you're around him, he can be at ease that everything will be all right. Even when you're at Potions class with him and when Snape berates him and humiliates him in front of the class and while the other Slytherins are having a laugh, you're there with him to remind him that he's good at other things and eventually he'll get better at Potions too. You tell him not to take Professor Snape's words to heart and even you deliberately mess things up sometimes to make him feel better. If at all Neville does get into detention, you do something that'll ensure you land in detention as well. So, he's really touched with you and your kindness and everything you're doing for him

He feels like he can trust you with anything but yet bby boi here is a literal and complete nervous wreck when it comes to asking you out. He doesn't want to ruin the special connection and the friendship you both have with each other. There are a thousand negative thoughts running through his head every second. What if you didn't like him that way? What if you thought that he was just some clumsy coward fit for nothing? What if you preferred someone brave and strong and dashing? He so desperately wants to be with you but is it at a loss on what to do and he feels like his heart would burst with all these feelings and emotions he has for you

He does follow you around like some lost and lovesick puppy. He needs you, he can't survive without you anymore. Besides, even though he knows it's really ironic, he wants to keep you safe and protect you. Ever since you defended him from the Slytherins, he's determined to protect you and grow stronger. Now that he's even a part of Dumbledore's Army, the DA, he feels like he's capable of protecting you. There are numerous dangerous things out there and you need someone to protect you

Neville told you about his parents and wrote about you to his grandmother. Of course his grandmother was first a bit skeptical for his choice, thinking you could just be taking advantage of him because you know, grandmothers are overprotective as hell like that but when she got to know more about you and how much you made her grandson happy, she felt happy and accepted you. She told Neville that he needed someone strong like you in his life and that he should never let someone special and wonderful like you go. Neville would be the most tamest and harmless yandere ever. He treats you so gently like you're made of glass, about to break any minute

He'll resort to kidnapping you when he thinks you're in danger. Else he'd NEVER kidnap you since he knows it'll make you immensely sad and distressed. But when he does, he'll have everything planned and heck, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Luna would assist him. He'll have all your favorite clothes, books and other things ready for you and make sure the place is really nice and comfortable. When you realize what he's done, you won't even be able to say anything mean to him since he's already on his knees, begging and crying for your forgiveness and asking you to please stay with him since he really needs you in his life and can't afford to lose you. You of course, have no choice but to stay

He treats you really well and hasn't raised his voice or hand at you ever. He doesn't even harm other people when you're talking to them, just pouts and feels his insecurities build up. He'll tug at your sleeves indicating it's time for you both to get going and honestly speaking, it's really cute when he's like this. He'll do whatever you want but please never be mad or ignore him, he'll be heartbroken and absolutely miserable. He won't force you to do things you don't want to but when you're ready to initiate physical contact, he'll become putty in your hands and feel like his limbs are made of water. One single compliment from you and he's ready to melt into a puddle

However he is capable of getting angry but not at you though, never at you. You're the light of his life, his hope, support and inspiration. You're the definition of literal perfection for him and he'll find a hundred and one reasons to defend you even if you've done something wrong. He's THAT much in love with you. However he will not take it lightly when someone insults you or degrades you in any way or even harms you for that matter. He is very protective of you and he will NOT tolerate it under any circumstances if something happens to you. He'll grit his teeth in anger, mutter one of the strongest curses and send the person flying backwards with some damage, as he rushes to your side and cups your face, asking you if you're all right. He'll wrap his coat around you and carry you back home bridal style and make you your favorite food while he apologizes for you seeing that side of him. He's such a sweetheart🥺

All in all, having him as your yandere would be a BLESSING, he'll look after you like a precious flower and you're in good and safe hands :)
