It's been a while since Neville's kidnapped you and kept you for himself. He claims it's for your own good and yet he snatched you away from your life, like a feather, away from all your loved ones like your friends, family, social life and everything you've ever held a soft spot for in your heart. Every time he brings you food and you barely acknowledge him, he'll set it down with a small sad smile on his face and tell you how sorry he is for doing this to you but he loves you too much to let you go and he really cares a lot for you. Part of you would have found it endearing under normal circumstances, until you remember he's kidnapped you

He can't bring himself to be mad at you for anything. In his eyes, you're flawless, a goddess, the definition of literal perfection. You can do no wrong and even if you do, he'll find a hundred and one reasons to defend you. You've been ignoring him and giving him the cold shoulder till he came back home one day looking like he's come from a freaking war field or something, his face was littered with scars, cuts and bruises and when you saw him about to faint, you let out a sharp and surprised gasp as you rushed to his side and grabbed him before he could hit the ground. However there was no time for you to dwell on your thoughts too much, you tended to his injuries and when he woke up you glared at him and told him to be more careful and he was surprised but happy you were finally coming around. He's also noticed a change and a sudden shift in your behavior, you no longer ignored him and you even smile at him and you're starting to make conversation with him, nor do you pull away and recoil in a repulsive manner, in fact you're like a kitten. Wary of other people at first but allows some gentle petting once it's trusts someone

Neville would propose to you once he's sure you'll never leave him. At first he'll see if you try escaping from him but you make him the most happiest person alive on the planet when you don't escape from him. He'll work on strengthening your relationship with him and take you out on dates to places that you like since he knows you'll be bored and driven insane staying cooped up inside the house for so long. He wants to see you happy that's all

Truth is, he's also dreamt of marriage with you. He's read and heard of all these fairy tales of happy married couples and he wants you both to be the perfect couple. Him coming back home to find you, slightly humming to yourself as you make him something to eat and he kisses you on the cheek from behind and slow dancing in the kitchen to some smooth relaxing tunes... he's fantasized about that life with you and he's not going to let anyone snatch that dream away from him. Marriage means you both being bound together for life, so you won't be able to leave him

He'll plan his proposal to you in a very creative and romantic way. He'll even take some advice from Ginny, Luna, Harry, Ron and Hermione. If you like something nice and simple, Neville will take you to the park or a restaurant that's nicely decorated and after a nice dinner, he'll pull out the ring and ask you to marry him. Or he'll do something eye catching like put up one those bill boards or put on a public display or a sign asking you to marry him, depends on what you prefer.
