Since Harry is already friends with Parvati and Padma Patil he'll know a bit about the Indian culture but not too much though. You're just glad that you're not the only Indian at Hogwarts since you didn't want to feel lonely. You've often been mocked and teased by some random pricks before which made you feel a bit insecure of yourself but the Patil twins were there to help you get over it. And even Harry, Ron and Hermione

Hermione at first was very fascinated with everything about India and that's when she's attracted Harry's attention. It all started during a Transfiguation class when Professor McGonagall told everyone about the magical powers gods and goddesses in India they used to have and their strong branches of magic. She explained how magic was used in different cultures as well and she took the Indian culture as the best example. Of course, people in class were thoroughly fascinated by all this since the most interesting Professor McGonagall told them last was about the Chamber of Secrets😌 and even Harry was enthralled with everything he heard that day

Heck, he actually decided to find out more by reading much to Hermione's surprise and he decided to ask you a few questions about your culture if you didn't mind. You of course didn't mind and Harry soon got an essay about writing how magic had evolved in Ancient India and how it is connected to the magic wizards and witches were using in London. Of course Harry did need help with his essay since he didn't know too much and you offered to help him. Besides it was also a good bonding opportunity since Harry also had a crush on you, after he saw the pictures of traditional Indian dresses in the books from the library, he couldn't help but wonder how you'd look like when you'd wear a traditional dress. No doubt you'd nothing less than a true royal

"Harry, HARRY! Where have you dozed off to?" you asked him waving your hand in front of his face as he blinked in surprise and looked at you confusedly and spoke "Oh, I'm sorry... it's-it's nothing really'' and you gave him a quizzical look and you both continued with the essay. You both were in the library at the moment and just then Malfoy and his goons decided to 'grace' you with his presence and he started saying stuff like how the Indian gods and goddesses could be powerful and all that but you would never be and other mean stuff to you. You tried to ignore it but Harry was getting furious, he always had the tendency to protect his loved ones and you were no exception. In fact you were a special case since Harry's protective feelings for you skyrocketed and blasted through the roof of Hogwarts

However you just glared at Malfoy and decided to cuss him out in your native language to make you feel better about yourself. "Choohe kahike, muh bandh karo'' and he just stared at you and looked confused. "What in the name of Merlin did you just blabber? Did you by chance consume a Babbling Beverage?" and you cussed him out in Hindi some more till he got fed up and decided to leave y muttering 'whatever'' and Harry looked so surprised. You just managed to make THE DRACO MALFOY WALK away without him or you hexing each other! Later on you explained to Harry that you cussed him out in Hindi and he couldn't stop laughing, you were truly amazing in his eyes

Harry was growing more fond of your culture and he wanted to try out your delicacies. So you introduced him to things like Aloo Parathas, Daal Makhnis, Rasgullas, Chhole Bhuature) and he simply loved the tastes. When you introduced him to the Hyderabadi special, Faloodas, that's it. He felt like he'd died and gone to heaven, it was SO GOOD in his opinion. He wanted to learn Hindi from you and you decided to teach him Hindi which made you both closer as well. Sometimes he hums romantic Hindi songs to see your reaction, you'll be al flustered and he finds it rather endearing, you look so cute when you're all shy it makes him want to keep you all for himself even more

Now, if anyone dares to make the unfortunate mistake of criticizing you or making fun of who you are, that's it. He will not think twice before he pulls his wand and hexes the git. He'll be back to have a 'little talk' with them later which no doubt would involve blood and a few broken bones but none of which would be from Harry's side. He'll then proceed to get you your favorite sweets and snacks and sit with you and comfort you. He'll also stalk you from time to time to find out more about you and your culture, so nothing out of the ordinary there

Oh, and when he sees you wearing a saree or a Ghagra Choli, his heart literally stops beating, you look like a goddess. And when he sees the other people ogling you as well he can't really blame them since you do look so divine and radiant, like a true goddess. But at the same time he also wants to literally pluck their damn eyes out since they're looking at YOU, you belong to him! Looks like Harry will have to prove to everyone that you're his. He can't tolerate it if he catches other people staring at you like some sort of trophy

He'd love to visit your native place one day and see all the wonderful places in India. From the marvelous Taj Mahal to the ancient looking Charminar in Hyderabad to the famous forts, palaces and temples and mosques and whatnot. He can't wait to see them all with you
