The first time he hears you swear and cuss at him in your own native language, is when he gets intrigued by you. He keeps calling you names and one day that gets under your nerves and you finally swear at him in Telugu. ''Eluka nōru mūsukō(Translation from Telugu to English: Shut your mouth you rat) and he's staring at you wondering what sort of drugs you were on and if you were high, what the heck did you just say to him? He stands there blinking confusedly and with a puzzled look on his face much to your classmates' surprise since they'd never seen that look on him as you smirk and walk away

After you go, he'll have to find out what you've said to him and when he finds out what you've said to him, he literally starts screaming. You can hear some yelling coming from the dorms not too far from you and that's when you grin and understand that he's finally understood that you've called him a rat. You can't help but snicker at the thought but Malfoy has the perfect revenge planned out for you, oh, he's going to get even with you the next day

''Kya baat hai mera pyaari Y/N, sharm aa raha hai kya?" (Translation from Hindi to English: What's the matter my lovely Y/N, are you feeling shy?) as he cups your face in his hand and your heads are touching each other's and you of course would be a blushing and flustered mess. You reply no in Hindi and from then on, you both will start conversing little by little in Hindi or Telugu or whatever language you know other than Telugu and no one around you would know just what the heck you both are talking about. And Malfoy prefers it that way, it's both of your little secret

But of course later on he wants to spoil you and make you into his perfect little spouse all just for him. He might look like he won't care about things like cultures and traditions, but surprisingly his favorite festival is Diwali, he loves the way the fireworks look they look wonderful but of course, he'd never admit that to you. And he also likes Dosas with that enriching spicy chutney and Vada Pavs, if he could eat them forever he most certainly will. He'll hiss at anyone who dared to snatch that away from him lol. He'll even try making and cooking some south and north Indian delicacies for you, like Paneer butter masala with the soft fluffy naans, gobi manchurias, samosas and many more. He'll even make sweets for you and though he pretends he doesn't like them, his favorite sweet is the Kaju Kathli (Fun fact, that's my favorite sweet too. Kaju katli, also known as kaju barfi, is an Indian dessert similar to a barfi. Kaju means cashew; Barfi is often, but not always, made by thickening milk with sugar and other ingredients)

The first time he sees you wearing a traditional dress, he will start looking like as if you asked whether you could have his kid, he's that flustered. He'll be all blushy and a flustered mess and he'll say ''You look... nice... no, tum bohot pyari lagti ho!" (Translation from Hindi to English: You look very lovely) and he'll get a kick of seeing your reaction. If you like seeing any Indian TV shows, he'll watch them with you but he'll keep cribbing and complaining about how everything is so freaking dramatic and all that dramatic music drives him nuts. And don't forget those unnecessary songs that come in movies sometimes. You both will end up pin pointing everything wrong with Indian serials and movies lol but he at least likes the romantic songs, well at least some of them

His favorite movie would be none other than Baahubali, but as much as he tried pretending he's way better than him, he admires him. He also likes Lord Shiva, he thinks he's badass and really admires his power when he does the cosmic dance of destruction. If anyone dares to make fun of you and your culture or about the clothes you're wearing, well they'll get on his wrong side. And NO ONE wants to get on Malfoy's wrong side. They'd literally die that's it, periodt. And apart from all this, sometimes he'll put some romantic songs for you like this song called Mujko Barsat Banalo and he actually finds it peaceful and calming. He likes Hyderabad and Mumbai even though it's crowded AF, well at least you get Vada Pav there
