Great tip for this chapter for when Don walks in. Go listen Agnetha Faltskog To love.

The next day...

Meryl's P.O.V

I did the right thing. Although it feels so wrong.

What do I do now?

Call Don?

I forgive way too fast and if there's one reason he must come home is because he belongs to me. But that would be his own choice on whether he wants me or not.

I can't think this way.

I grab the house phone and dial Don's number wanting him to pick up.

Please pick up.

Don't pick up!

Shit. He picked up. What now?

"Meryl?" He answered as I felt hopeless at that time but snapped out of it. Why should I be ashamed of him. We both made mistakes. Eventhough we could've stopped it, we didn't.

I made a million mistakes, but my family won't be one of them!

"Don." I finally said trying to keep myself together. "I just called to say thank you for the pancakes. I was hoping you'd come back home so that we can...talk."

I gave a little smile with tears in my eyes knowing he must be very surprised. Well, I actually had surprised myself.

"That would be great." He replied as I could hear the long silence taking place on the other end.

No sound of n giggling women.

No sound of anyone one on the other end.

This is not the silence I want. The silence is what I want when things get out of hand.

It's very late and a little cold.

I sat alone in the kitchen wearing my black pyjama dress just thinking about my life. Wondering if I threw it down the drain or what.

Well, atleast Mamie called me this afternoon just talking about the regular.

I gave a sighed and look behind me at the door that swing open slowly.

There he stood. Don Gummer is back.

I gave a sighed in relieve and jump up from my chair running up to him. He shut the door behind him and wrap his arms around my waist when I wrapped mine around his neck just holding him.

"I'm so sorry." I cried in his neck feeling home again.

This is where I trully belong. I belong with Don Gummer.

"I love you Mary Louise." He whispered in my neck and I instantaneously forgave him.

I look at him again and throw my lips on his as our lips stay there longer.

Kissing Don is way much different from kissing Pierce which I already had admit before.

What wouldn't I do to keep my husband happy? Tell him to sleep on the couch or...invite him to my room?

We lay in my bed just making out. Is this weird for an old women like me to allow her husband to travel with her back in time?

Of course not!

I lay on my back kissing him as he laid between my legs kissing me back.

I felt his attraction towards me which was that woke up the wife he got married to.

That young wild cat.

I gave a little giggle as he gave me an odd look separating our lips.

"What?" He asked with a curious smile.

"Nothing." I replied with a giggle wrapping my arms around his neck feeling him starting to dance his mouth around in my neck. "Absolutely nothing."

Just us and the amazing gift of nature. This is all I ever wanted.

This is everything I need.

My family.

I can't live without Don.

He's mine. He's belongs to me.

I am never gonna let him feel neglected ever again. And I'm gonna make sure of that.
