《Sticky Love - OsaYama (Osamu x Yamaguchi) -Haikyu!!-》Chapter 8: Farewell

Osamu and Yamaguchi were still lying on the bed, holding on to each other's embrace. Yamaguchi giggled a little hearing Osamu snore. It was a cute kind of snore too not the gurgly one that you can mistake for the laugh of the devil.
Even for an hour, Osamu managed to rest peacefully. Yamaguchi forgot to charge his phone, so it was still dead. When he did plug it and turned it open, he had 100 missed calls and texts from his teammates. "Oh crap," It looks like Suga and Asahi are handing out a poster of him too.
"My son is missing!? Have you seen him!?"
Yamaguchi quickly heads to the bathroom to take a quick shower. In his panic, he woke up Osamu. "I'm sorry Samu-san!" Osamu shook his head a little, trying to pry his eyes open. Then Yamaguchi's phone started to buzz from a call again. "Can you please get that! Tell them I'm going to our inn!" The freckled boy pleaded from the bathroom.
"YAMAGUCHI WHERE ARE YOU!!?" Suga shouted when Osamu answered the phone. He can hear other voices from the back, it seems it was on speaker. "IS THIS HIS KIDNAPPER!? PLEASE RETURN HIM TO US! TAKE NISHINOYA INSTEAD!"
"What!? Why me!?" Noya stepped back a little.
Suga leaned closer to their libero, whispering in his ear. "Out of all of us, I know you can escape from the kidnappers unharmed, unlike our Yamaguchi who needs to be protected at all cost! Plus, Kiyoko would love you for being brave!"
"You do have a point" Noya rubbed his chin, already imagining his get-away plan.
"Noya no!" Asahi pleaded.
"Seriously though, take anyone else than Yamaguchi!" Tsukishima shouted.
Osamu just facepalmed, realizing Tadashi had it tough with his teammates too. "Tadashi is fine, this is Osamu Miya," He said, gently touching his ear, making sure it's not bleeding. "He's in the shower, Don't worry, we'll head there in a bit." Then he ended the call.
"I knew they were together!" Kiyoko shouted like she won a lottery. It looks like her new ship just sailed. She took a few moments to regain her composure. "Please, continue guys."
Karasuno just stared at each other, eagerly anticipating the return of their pinch serve. Just in case, Suga didn't stop sending out flyers. Hinata and Kageyama shouted in the middle of the street, holding up Yamaguchi's picture. Asahi and Daichi tried to calm down Nishinoya, who was seriously wanting to be kidnapped now so he can escape, Tanaka joined in too.

"I am surrounded by idiots." Tsukishima rubbed his head while Yachi pats his back.
While Yamaguchi was still in the shower, Osamu barged in trying to wash his face. "SAMU-SAN!?" he shouted trying to at least cover his privates and nipple. Gotta hide them hard nips.
"Sorry Tadashi, I forg-" Osamu stared at him for a moment before redirecting his attention to his own reflection. "I mean I forget we're supposed to leave at 9 am!" It appears that it's a little harder to wash your face when you're embarrassed and aroused.
The two wore their clothes in a hurry, running outside towards the bus stop as fast as they can. Osamu suddenly smirked at Yamaguchi. The freckled boy smirked back but running as fast as he can. It suddenly became a race. Both of them shouting in order to boost their stamina even more. They were neck to neck, both of the bus stops.
In the end, both of them lost because their body just hurt and their vocal cords a bit raspy from all the shouting. At least they managed to ride the bus before they ran out of juice. The two of them sat at the back, because of the legroom.
"You guys are leaving today right?" Yamaguchi leans on Osamu's shoulders. Something about broad shoulder blades made him feel safe.
"Yeah, it sucks," Osamu said, punching the air a little. "This is actually the first time I'm upset that we're leaving home early." The gray-haired boy leaned his head on Yamaguchi's hair. He didn't even realize he kissed his green hair but the freckled boy felt it, making his face red.
Why are you like this Samu-san? You're making my heart go WHAM!! No, I think it's SHOOM! SWOOSH? Oh my God, Tsukki is right. I should stop hanging around Hinata so much. Yamaguchi thought to himself.
"What's wrong Tadashi?"
Nothing was wrong that moment, it was perfect for the two. A simple moment but a beautiful one. "This is the first time I'm upset we won." Yamaguchi wore a sad expression on his face.
Osamu suddenly pinched Yamaguchi's cheeks. "Don't be like that Tadashi, a win is a win and you should always be proud of it." Yamaguchi smiled at the grayed haired boy, a smile that will always make his heart jump a little. "Wanna listen to some music?"
There was still a few minutes till their destination so Osamu h brought out his earphone that was all tangled up. Yamaguchi swore there was a Water Type Pokemon that look just like this. Osamu tried to untangle his earphone, very poorly. It took him about 3 minutes to do it and Yamaguchi helped by cheering him on.

As they looked outside their window, everything suddenly felt like a somber music video. Yamaguchi lifted his head a little to look at Osamu who was vibing with the music while closing his eyes. He was mouthing some of the lyrics too. With the rays from the sun hitting his face just right, he looked like something out of a painting.
Yamaguchi was the first to get off since the Stadium is closer to the Inn Osamu and his team was staying. The freckled boy bowed a little, giggling at how formal he made it look. Osamu bowed back, humoring him, as he tries his best to not laugh at how ridiculous and dramatic they were making their farewell look. The bus driver and passengers were just straight-up confused about what was happening.
As soon as Yamaguchi stepped down off the bus, his teammates run towards him. It scared Yamaguchi for a second, and he should because they're just downright embarrassing at this point. They basically tackled Yamaguchi to the ground, piling on him. Osamu can't help but laugh a little, waving at Tadashi from the window, with a gentle smile on his face. So far, this is the best reward he can get from going to the Nationals.
Osamu's team greeted him, wondering how'd it go. Osamu just shrugs their unpure questions which made Kita understandably proud. As they all waited for their bus to arrive, Osamu's happy demeanor started to fade when he realized one thing. A simple thing he kept forgetting.
I STILL DIDN'T GET HIS NUMBER!?
"So let me guess this straight (They're not.) you guys tongued fucked each other in public, slept together in a love motel but forgot to take each other's number? Really?" Atsumu glared at his twin.
Atsumu did have a point and Osamu is not gonna let him say he's right. The last thing he wants is to feed his brother's ego, which was already bigger than it should be. "It's alright," Osamu looked down, his face a bit sad. "He probably won't even remember me," Atsumu can't help but raise his eyebrows at his brother's pessimistic view.
"Samu-san!" A voice called out, from behind them.
Everyone turned around and saw Karasuno's pinch server running towards them. He stopped in front of Osamu, gasping for air since he just ran from the Stadium. "Can I have your number, please?"
WAIT!? DID YOU RUN ALL THE WAY FOR THAT!? Osamu thought to himself, stepping back a little.
The other Inarizaki member just smiled at Osamu, waiting for his response. OH MY GOD, YOU ASSHOLES! Osamu can feel their gazes.
"Su-sure!" Osamu stuttered, awkwardly trying to get his phone out, he almost dropped it on the ground which made his team chuckled at his nervousness. Osamu turned around to glared at his team for a moment.
Osamu and Yamaguchi can't help but smile as they exchange contact info. "Take care on your trip Samu-san! You to guys! Nice match by the way!"
"Wait!" Osamu runs towards him, tugging Yamaguchi's hand to stop him for a moment. Osamu grabbed something from his bag. "Here, take it." He reached out his red jacket for him. "This is so, you can have something to remember me by..." His team can't help but giggle at how cheesy their member sounded right now.
Yamaguchi blushed at his gesture, smiling at the red jacket. "I'll be sure to return this to you next time! I promise!"
"You guys better make it to next year's Nationals!" Osamu said with a determined look. "We're not gonna lose next time too!"
"Bring it on!" Yamaguchi mocked him a little, making a cartoonish taunting face. The two burst out laughing just how ridiculous their expression was. It was like something out of a cheap action film. Osamu didn't move until Yamaguchi was out of sight. He wanted to be able to look at him in person for a long as he can.
When Osamu sat on the bus with his brother, Atsumu asked him a question. "So, was the "I'm not gonna lose next time" for a match or the kiss?" Osamu went even redder.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU TSUMU! SHUT IT!"
Chaos reign on the Inarizaki bus again. And again, it was caused by the Miya twins. For now, the two might be apart, but what they felt for one another can never truly make them alone. Yamaguchi hugged Osamu's jacket tightly on his chest. His heart began to beat faster when he recognizes his scent.
I think I'm seriously falling for you Samu-san.

This is a LitRPG story of my own creation that shares that name.
8 126Dominion Expansion (a 4X LitRPG)
Clay is one of the world's top players of 4X games, a genre where the goal is to eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. He's also one of the only players in the world to so stubbornly stick to the one city strategy, a favorite tactic of his that involves only ever using a single city or planet depending on the game's setting. All that matters to him is winning with his favorite strategy, but earning the respect of his fellow players for taking a sub-optimal strategy to its highest level has always been a nice bonus. And now it is because of his skill and entertaining determination that he has been chosen to represent a higher realm in a strategy game where the fate of Earth and dozens of other worlds are at stake. To the victor goes the spoils, and the spoils include entire worlds and billions of lives. That's how he ends up representing the ascended realm of Hell in a grand "game" between an entire pantheon of godly beings and other higher powers. But while it may just be a game to those overseeing it, it is a genuine war for survival to those participating in it where billions of real lives will go to the victor of whoever wins, and many will die before the game is over. Quick Author's Notes: System inspired by Civilization, Endless Legend, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings 2. Combat mechanics inspired by the Total War series. Slow-paced with many long-term plans. Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.
