You and Yachi sat in a little secluded diner, it was just the two of you for once. You guys felt like some girl time was needed.
"So when are you moving out y/n?" Yachi casually asked. You were sipping your milkshake and almost choked when you heard her say that.
"Moving out? When did I ever say I was moving out?"
"You didn't, but you're barely home so I just assumed-"
"Hey I am home." You insisted, "sometimes..."
Yachi chuckled, "just move in with Kei. It would be so much easier."
You raised an eyebrow at her, "why are you so desperate to get me out..."
A bright blush crept on her face, "urm no reason. If you wanna stay you can. No big deal..."
"Hitoka-"
"What?"
"Has this got anything to do with our friend Tadashi. Or is he more than a friend now..."
"No."
"Okay maybe it does, so what..." Yachi scowled. "We've finished the school year. You and Kei have been together for ages now and since Tadashi is using a student accommodation I just thought it would be so much easier for him to stay in our apartment. For his second year, I mean. Plus it's cheaper for him and you're barely in so..."
"Hey Hitoka , babe. I get what you're saying." You smiled, "I'm not ready to officially move in with Kei yet but Yamaguchi can live with us." You paused for a moment...
"How about this, I take half of my stuff to Tsukishima's and I leave the other half at the apartment. We split the rent in thirds, Yams can take my room and I'll just put my stuff in yours since it was your idea. When I stay over I'll sleep with you. Since it would be strange for Yams to sleep with me or you , yeah?"
"Urm yeah, strange." She mumbled.
"What was that babe, I didn't hear you."
"Hmmm nothing, y/n." Yachi smiled. "So anything else."
"Yeah yams needs to bring his own fucking bed, your room is big enough for both mine and yours. Plus there's no way in hell I'm giving my bed up." You demanded.

"Mmm that's fine y/n, I'm good with that. My room is pretty big anyways."
"Pretty big is an understatement, your room is huge. Perks of being rich I guess...."
"Hey I'm not rich, my mum just happens to be fairly comfortable monetary wise..."
"Okay babe, whatever you say." You giggled.
"So are you coming home tonight," Yachi asked.
"Mmmhmm, I wanna sleep in my room at least one more time." You smiled, "lemme just text Kei."

1 week later
————————
"You're an athlete Kei, how hard is it to lift up a bed. Pull yourself together." You attempted to encourage your boyfriend who was currently trying to move your bef to Yachi's room.
"Why do I have to do this? Shouldn't this be Yamaguchi's job." Tsukishima said, death staring at Yams who was chilling with Yachi on the sofa.
"Don't look at me bud, I lost all the gains after high school." Yams joked whilst flexing his muscles, "plus isn't this good exercise. Your lanky ass needs to buff up."
"Yamaguchi!" Tsukishima said sternly.
"Sorry Tsuki." Yams laughed.
"I can help you if you want Kei?" You reluctantly asked, hoping he'd say no. "Mmm cool, help me then." He nodded at the other side of the bed. You looked at him in disgust, before sighing and walking over to the bed. You grabbed it and helped him move it to your new room.
"God damn that is a heavy ass bed." You laughed, Kei nodded. "So this you're new room."
You smiled , "yup Hitoka's room is pretty big right." Kei nodded once again, "yeah it is. So did you pack your stuff for mine too?"
"Yeah I packed a few bags. It makes sense to keep some clothes with you."
"Why you're only gonna end up wearing mine anyways." Tsukishima asked. "Kei shut up," you whined playfully slapping him on his arm.
"Or what?"
"I'll peg you man , the fuck."
"The fuck did that come from..." Tsukishima laughed.
"I meant it ya know."
"Y/n, you don't even fucking own a strap on."
"I don't care."

"Ugh come here shortcake." Tsukishima said opening his arms out to you. You practically waddled into his arms.
You looked up at him and smiled.
"What?" He asked.
"Hmmm nothing," you smiled to yourself.
"Come on shortcake tell me..."
"Mmmm nothing baby, just that you're looking really submissive and breed-able right now."
Tsukishima pulled away and looked at you weirdly. "You need to get off TikTok." He said before grabbing your bags and walking out. "I'll see you in the car." He called.
You couldn't stop laughing, you were on the verge of tears from how hard you were laughing.
"Y/n are you okay, why did Tsuki just walk out?" Yachi asked as her and Yamaguchi ran into the room.
"Hmmm nothing , no reason at all."
"What's so funny y/n?" Yamaguchi asked.
"Nothing , nothing. I'll see you guys later okay." You gave Yachi a kiss on the cheek and ran out of the apartment to the car.
"Are you still laughing about that?" Tsukishima rolled his eyes as you entered the car.
"It was funny."
"It really wasn't , your sense of humour is very questionable."
"Your sense of humour is very- shut the fuck up and drive nigga." You laughed.
"Hey , hey I'm driving okay. See I'm driving." Tsukishima said as he started up the car.
"So we putting my stuff in your room right?"
"Mmm where else would they go?" Tsukishima asked, "I mean I could put them in the spare room but what would be the point since you're always in mine. I'll just make space in my wardrobe, no big deal"
"Thanks Kei, you're the best."
"Yeah I know."
"Ugh I wish I didn't compliment you now."
"I love you too shortcake."
"Fuck off."
"Wanna watch a movie when we get home, I'll buy you your favourite ice cream..." You asked Kei. "The shortcake one?" He asked.
"Yup that's the one..."
"Okay but I'm picking the film shortcake."
"Fine, now drive us to the supermarket." You demanded, whilst doing the all might pose.
"You're one weird girl shortcake." Tsukishima laughed.
——————
Once you got in , you instantly stripped out of your clothes and bee lined to Tsuki's closet. Stealing one of his hoodies and a pair of his boxers.
"That's my favourite one." He whined. You giggled , "and I'm your favourite person so it evens out."
"Does it really?"
"Yes it does hush and get into bed ," you said patting next to you. "The ice cream will melt."
Tsukishima took off his shirt and put on a pair of shorts. "Pass the ice cream." He said as he got into bed. You handed him it and then put on your glasses.
"Here's the remote pick what you want babe," you smiled passing him the remote.
"I was joking shortcake, you can pick." He said passing you it back.
"Nice , imma make you cry today." You cackled, "I'm gonna be nice and let you choose your poison okay. So it's between I want to eat your pancreas, a silent voice , or ride your wave?"
"Urm I haven't watched ride your wave ? Lets watch that." He said. You smiled , "okay let's..."
———————-
An hour and a bit later....
"I regret picking that." Tsukishima said.
"Yeah I know you do..." you sniffled.
"Hey shortcake ade you crying," Kei wrapped his arms around you and brought you closer.
"Hey , hey, don't cry shortcake." He placed a light kiss on your head. "I love you okay." He rubbed circles on your back and hugged you tighter.
"How are you not crying," you asked between sobs.
"Oh trust me, I'm crying on the inside." He laughed. You wiggled out of his embrace and wrapped your arms around his neck. Tsukishima rested his head on your shoulders and shed a single tear.
You didn't see or know this though, he didn't want you to see him cry. He didn't want you to see him vulnerable, he wanted you to see a strong loving boyfriend. Who would always be there for you no matter the scenario. The guy you could lean on whenever you were upset. The one you could talk too about the most stupidest of things.
He wanted to protect you most of all. He didn't want to be no cry baby hero...
You played with his hair whilst he rested on your shoulder.
"Kei , I love you."
"I love you too y/n."
