"I love these meat buns." Kei stuttered , "yeah they are so succulent and meaty and tender. Very tasty." He lightly scratched the back of his head, looking away. His ears turning a soft shade of pink.
"What meat bun Kei?" You laughed looking at his empty hands, causing his cheeks to flush red. "Hey, urm Kei?" You smiled, placing your palms Ontop of his.
"Iloveyoutoo." You said quickly instantly turning away. "What did you say shortcake, I didn't quite hear you?" He mocked. "I love the meat buns too, now let's go." You said pulling him up from the curb. You walked back into the shop and said your goodbyes to everyone, aswell as trading your number with Noya and Suga who shared it with the rest of the group.
"I can't wait to see your childhood home." You beamed, Tsukishima stopped in his tracks. "Yeah no, we aren't going there I have a flat." He stated. "Oh," you sighed "I guess that's cool. Can't wait to see it I guess."
"Mmm." Tsukishima hummed, intertwining his hands with yours again and guiding you to his apartment. It was a lot smaller then the house in Tokyo, it only had 1 bedroom with a bathroom , kitchen and living space. This was what was expected of a university student though.
It was decorated with black , grey and neutrals. A pretty basic apartment to be honest. Well that was until you walked into Kei's room, the walls were a nice shade of green that faded into blue. A picture of him and his volleyball teams throughout the years on the walls. His first year of Karusono being the largest. Aswell as a stuffed frog and dinosaur hiding in the corner. His bed covers were the same shade of blue on his walls and he had a little shelf full of manga and books.
You walked over to the manga set brushed your fingertips across it. "Hmmm , didn't take you for an otaku." You smirked, flicking through the manga. Tsukishima laughed, it's not something I'd say willingly shortcake."

"Mmm thought so," you said flicking through the pages of the manga. "I've actually been struggling quite a bit with kanji. Actually not just kanji , the Japanese writing system in general. Can you teach me, please." You literally begged.
"I'm not that good of a teacher y/n, have you asked Yachi." He asked, "Man Hitoka is probably one of the best teachers I've ever had, that woman single handedly taught me Japanese. I just want to surprise her by knowing a little bit more."
Tsukishima sighed, "fine but don't say I didn't warn you."
"Warn me about what?" You asked , clearly confused. Tsukishima smirked, "you'll see y/n, you'll see."
———-
You definitely saw.
You were now kneeled on the floor, head laid on the table infront of you, wishing you didn't ask him to help you.
"Y/n, I told you not like that. Like this look, it's not that hard." Tsukishima wrote down the word again. He was this close to snapping, he founding believe how dense his girlfriend actually was.
"I'm fucking trying Kei, it's hard." You moaned , trying to trace what he drew on your page. "Well try harder," he bluntly stated. You rolled your eyes and looked back into your paper. "What the fuck am I even writing?" A puzzled look forming on your face.
Tsukishima mentally face palmed and sighed loudly, he gradually got up and left the room. Two minutes later he came back with some black coffee for himself and an iced one for you. "Your lucky I can't drink alcohol." He muttered before taking a swig of his coffee.
"I thought you were going to leave me." You chuckled, Tsukishima just stared at you. "Oh trust me I was going too." He muttered.
"Is it because I'm black?" You asked him, your face stern and serious.
"W- what?" Tsukishima nervously scratched the back of his head, not knowing what to say next.
"Is. It. Because. I. Am. Black." You said again , your lips curling up into a smirk.

"Are you gaslighting me?" Tsukishima snarled, "Is it because I'm Asian..." he said back. Your face dropping , he didn't just play you at your own game, did he?
"Gotcha there shortcake, now do your work."
You sighed looking down at your sheet of paper , trying to write down something other than your name. It took a couple of tries but with Tsukishima's help you managed to write down a sentence. He was sat over you, his hand over yours controlling the movements of the pen. When you completed it successfully he lifted up your hand and placed a soft kiss on it.
He had now challenged you to do the sentence on your own, and if you succeeded he'd be nice to you all day. No name calling, no insults, no bullying. He'd just be a super sweet boyfriend, and there was no way you were passing up that opportunity.
It took you a good 20 minutes, but you managed to write the sentence perfectly. No mistakes , no nothing. You called your boyfriend to look over it and he inspected it closely. He hummed slightly, "guess you're not that dumb then shortcake. Well done."
You grinned, "you promised to be nice to me ALL DAY, if I could do it." Tsukishima scoffed, "urm no I didn't, I don't recall saying that." You laughed , "I thought you'd say that," pulling out your phone and going through your camera roll, you selected a video of Tsuki.
"Shortcake, if you can write this sentence by yourself, I'll be nice to you for the rest of the day." Played through the speakers of the phone. Tsukishima groaned, "do I have to? It just seems really boring though."
"Yes." You laughed , "your my dog all day long."
"We've literally got 4 hours of the day remaining," Tsukishima said rolling his eyes. "Mmmhhmm, better then nothing." You giggled , he opened up his arms signalling for you to come over. You sat on his lap and took a deep breath.
"Thanks Kei." You beamed nuzzling into his neck. "Huh, what for shortcake?" He asked drawing circles on your back. "For being my boyfriend silly, also can you help me tie my hair up?" You asked not wanting to move from your position.
Tsukishima took the hair bobble from his wrist and tenderly grabbed your braids, trying his hardest not to hurt you. He lifted your hair up and wrapped the bobble around it, putting it into a pony tail.
Safe to say it looked like shit.
Tsukishima tried again, and again and again. Each time being worse then the last. "Babe it's fine , if you can't do it I-"
"No."
Tsukishima tried again one more time, and it looked semi decent. He admired his work and smiled, " I got this babe." He smirked. You pulled out your phone and tapped the camera to check your hair, "mmmm it's not too bad." You laughed, taking a few snaps with him. Spamming them on your private story, "this ones pretty nice." Tsukishima said pointing at one of the pictures.
You sent him all the photos and decided to set his favourite one as your lockscreen. Once done, you placed your phone down on the floor next to you and snuggled into him. "We've been sat on the floor for ages is your bum not hurting?" You asked him, Tsukishima chuckled.
"We were having a cute moment and you ruined it shortcake." He whined, you just grinned pulling him closer to you. "What are you doing shortcake?" He asked , you brought his head down and licked his face.
"Just trying something out because you have to nice to me all day." You practically cackled, grabbing hold of his arm and softly biting it. You laughed, rather loudly. Thinking you were the funniest person on earth.
"Now what was that for y/n?" He asked. "Oh no reason I just trying to figure out if you tasted like shortcake, since you eat so much of that shit. Newsflash , you don't."
"Jesus shortcake , your something else."

This Used to be About Dungeons
This Used to be About Dungeons is a comfy slice-of-life adventuring story that occasionally features dungeons. Updates Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Mostly it's about walking in the woods with a friend, looking for mushrooms to put in your soup, or haggling with the guy selling squash, or taking care of a neglected garden. It's putting some jam on shortbread biscuits. And yes, sometimes you go down into the dungeons with your friends, and you kill monsters there, or disarm traps, but when you come out, you realize you've found the perfect magic item to give to one of the local kids that helped you out when your cat was sick. Look, the dungeons are always going to be there, and sometimes you need to make a journey to one of the Spirit Gates, or make a pilgrimage with the local Cleric of Symmetry to a holy shrine. Your tour through the local dungeons can wait. You'll have rivalries with other groups, and find some dungeon eggs that need to be carefully incubated in case they turn out to be something valuable, and help a friend to build a fishing weir. There's a big world out there, a mostly tame place with lots of magic, and even more to do and see. Join me, won't you?The cover image is Morning Sunlight Effect, Eragny, by Camille Pissarro.

This project has no purpose
Summary: This is the story about the life of a "human" amidst a world that only appears to be earth at first glance. Long ago the face of this world resembled the typical tales of yore; of knights and fairies, swords and magic, however such an era has come and gone. Even the world of fantasy has progressed steadily into the modern epoch filled with the wonders of science and technology! In the ancient times a certain crisis had occured that lead to the quick decline of various magical species. Due to their low population and general incompatibility with the other races they could not crossbreed to save their numbers. Left with no other choice the major races of the world gathered together in an attempt to change the fate of this dying world. Their only hope was a special 'world-tier' magic known as 'the dusk of harmony'. The result of this magic would dissolve every race into their purest essences known as 'aspect' and instill them within the human population. The humans were the best choice as their numbers were numerous and form was similar to most races. As such, the various races of this world managed to save themselves in essence and soul only, though perhaps there was no other choice. With the various humans now carrying the weight and aspects of those who came before, life has continued onto the modern age. Yet, even amongst these hybrids 'Pures' emerge from time to time, beings who have inherited not only aspects of the ancient races, but their forms too. These Pures are often times exceptionally talented and seen as near deities. This is the story of a perculiar boy who is born with the soul of a stranger from the world known as 'Earth'. With the memories and soul of a human, he too is a rare Pure; a pure human. --- This project literally has no purpose and is being written because I felt like it. There isn't any semblance of a solid direction nor have I thought about any characters aside from the main character and a few auxiliary cast. If you would like to contribute to building this world with me then please contact me through a DM or by leaving a comment, I will be sure to credit you.
