《Fall》Chapter Fourteen

"Why do you always keep your room so cold?" Annie complained as she took her hoodie back out of the closet and put it on. She went back over the the bottom buck of her and Mikasa's buck bed and grabbed the tv remote off of her desk and turned the tv on to a random channel.
Mikasa climbed down the ladder with a book in her had and sat in front of Annie on the bed. At first Annie payed no attention to her and just continued to watch the small tv that sat on a small book shelf across from Mikasa's desk. Mikasa unwrapped her red scarf from her next and wrapped it around Annie's next. "Better?" She asked. The other girl looked down trying to hide her blush, "Y-yeah..."
Mikasa smiled and leaned against the wall. She opened up her book and began to read. Annie let the silence go on for a minute but then turned to Mika.
"Mikasa I have to tell you something. It's going to sound stupid and lame and you're probably going to think I'm weird for it but..." Annie took a deep breath. As she was about to confess she shook her head, "No. Never mind."
Mikasa threw her head back, "Come on! I know you like me, Annie! Bert and Reiner told me!" She ran a hand threw her black hair moving it out of her face.
"They what?!" Annie covered her face with her hands covering her blush, "I told them not to say anything! Idiots! Please don't hate me..." Mikasa saw how frustrated she was and tackled her in a hug.
"I don't hate you. I think you're stupid for not telling me sooner but I don't hate you." Mika smiled at her, "And I can't wait for our date tomorrow." She laughed when Annie fell backwards and turned over to shoved her face into a pillow, "It's not a date..." She mumbled.
Mikasa moved and sat closer to Annie, "It's a date." Annie moved her head onto Mikasa's lap, "Yeah. It is." She admitted. She smile and pulled the blonde hair away from the other girl's face.
