《Levihan - Addicted To You》Chapter 3 - Birthday

Having a needle inserted into your legs and out was the most painful and shittiest experience Levi had had for the past two days. The expedition had gone like always, but this time without humanity's strongest soldier, more blood was shed than usual.
Hange was sure to be careful on treating Levi. It was her fault after all, she would remind herself. But despite having a needle piercing his skin, he endured it pretty well arousing her curiosity.
"Have you had anyone doing this to you before?"
He ignored her.
"Right sorry. I'll be quiet now"
"Taking this out when I told you to would've made it less painful. But you went ahead to argue with me"
"Because I'm not a doctor. I'm a scientist"
"What's the difference, you shitty scientist?"
Hange had opened her mouth to give an answer but shut it right away after realising that from Levi's face, none of what she was about to spit out would make him care the least. She carried on with the painful job and as weird as it was to say she enjoyed for once feeling Levi's thigh in the act. She was sure she would never get the chance to do so again judging that he would never come to her rescue like he did during the expedition. Minutes after, there was knock on Levi's door. He muffled a "come in" and as he did, the door creaked open. A fairly short blond girl came in with a tray in her hand.
"Captain Levi?"
He turned his gaze from Hange to the girl. Upon seeing the tray of food, he directed her to the nearest table that wasn't the one with Hange's equipment. She placed it down and looked at him.
"Anything else you need?"
"No. Thanks Petra"
Petra smiled. She looked down at Hange. Levi's trousers were rolled up to reveal the deep cut that Hange was trying so hard to sow. But she sure was in crazy contact with Levi. Petra reluctantly left slowly closing the door behind her.
It wasn't long before Hange finished wrapping the bandage round his leg.
"Done", she smiled. Levi stood up without uttering a word.
"Let me help you", she offered. Levi whacked her hand away in a sense that he could walk by himself. He looked at his bed, back at Hange who was still on the floor, looking up at him and then closed his eyes. His hands covering his face in embarrassment. Hange stood up with a smug grin, placing Levi's hand over her shoulder. She slowly helped him to his bed and giggled.
"You don't have to act tough around me. Because you never are. Maybe to the rest of the members but not to me"
He rolled his eyes as she turned her back to him leaving. She could've sworn she heard a muffled "See you tomorrow" but best not to jump to conclusion. Levi would never say that to anyone.
It was already dark and certain that most had gone to bed. Hange was on her way back to her room that was still clean considering she hadn't stepped foot in there since the expedition. She put her hands on the door knob the same time as someone else. Her eyes met with Moblit's as he cowardly pulled away.

"Section Commander... I was coming to check up on you. You haven't been around anyone else since we came back so I was wondering where you were"
"I was with Levi"
"Levi?", he arched his brows in curiosity "W-why?"
"Had to help him with his cut"
"But we have doctors here"
They did. Why didn't she or Levi think of that. Leaving the gruesome job to Hange. She smacked her head sighing. At least it wasn't all that bad. Moblit opened the door for her to get in following behind her. She turned on the lamp, opened her drawers, pulled out a bunch of papers and sat down with a pen.
"You're not going to bed?"
"I'm not sleepy", she replied yawning before scribbling on pieces of paper. Moblit took a closer look. There were ones with drawing of titans and they're anatomy, one of Eren's Titan, and one the female Titan from a while ago who was later discovered as Annie Leonhart, and some of the crystals that had fallen off when Annie had gone into protective mode. Hange's drawings weren't the best but were easy to understand. After hours of watching her do her work, Moblit realised she would doze off any second. Her writing pace had decreased, from time to time her head would drop and before long she fell asleep. As the gentleman he was, he got her duvet placing it over her and turning off the lamp, then leaving the room closing it quietly behind.
Mornings weren't usually so hasty and noisy but this very day was an exception. Hange got out of her room, still in her uniform from the night before, rubbing her eyes and completely ignoring the fact that her hair had come loose and was now standing on all ends. She yawned whilst stretching in attempt to loosen the stiffened joints. The chit-chat was uncontrollable and so was the the amount of running around. She went on down the hallway bumping into someone that felt shorter than her.
"Damn it, you asshole"
She looked down. The "oh so little one" happened to be Levi. She grinned sheepishly before questioning what was going on.
"Apparently it's Eyebrow's birthday in a couple of days. That's why everyone is in such a chaotic state. No one was like this when I clocked 28", he rolled his eyes in disgust.
"Erwin's birthday? But we just came back from some expedition that took away the lives of many. And we're gonna accompany it with some celebration?"
"How should I know, Shitty glasses? He doesn't know though, that's for sure. And you better keep your mouth shut. As if you're good at doing that" Levi received a pout.
"I can keep my mouth shut", she pulled some puppy face which really didn't work considering her facial features were ruining it all. It was later before she came to realisation. She was in the halls looking unkempt and hasn't had a shower for... for only God know how long. She rushed back to her room.

Petra's blood had been boiling for the past few hours. She had the feeling and urge to lash out at Hange in a fit of jealous rage. Hange Zoe, to her, was bad news. She had such unbelievably close contact with Levi and Petra had no intentions of accepting it. If she could recall, Levi had never showed his true feelings to her and it was highly unclear why. She was kind to him, she made herself known to him. And yet he could only yell at Hange only to be left dumbstruck by her stupidity. Fuck, he even swooped in to save her clumsy ass. Petra Ral was the one for Levi. That was how things should've been. And if Levi and Hange were to become so close, it'll ruin hers and her father's plan. And by all means, she had to put a stop to their not so distant relationship.
The days went as slowly as ever just as Erwin's curiosity grew. Finally, the damn night arrived and Hange was more than glad to forget about the secret. She stood in front of Erwin's door banging as hard as she could. He opened the door rubbing his eyelids.
"Hange what do you want?"
"You have to come quick", she grinned linking their arms. Erwin hid the slight shade of pink on his face. It wasn't due to his close contact with a woman. But take it as a woman who had never worn a dress before and was now in one. He was taken by surprise when he entered the hall. The tables were filled with meat, fish, rice, soup, bacon. There were varieties compared to normal days where all they were forced to eat was some potato, a slab of meat and bread.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!", they all chorused in excitement. He showed a faint smile as he was surrounded by his following soldiers bringing their birthday wishes for their commander.
Sasha had already dug in, eating as if the food would disappear at any second.
"She's a pig", Jean muttered with a disgusted face
"Watch your mouth, Jean..." Connie replied him her defence "Sasha you need to leave something for everyone else"
She shot them a devilish glare with meat still stuck in her mouth. This was war. It only took team work to tie the hungry beast to a nearby pillar. Of course that meant leaving Jean with a bite mark on his hand and Eren exhausted from doing half of the work.
"Where did you get this look from?", Levi asked from the chair he was sat on as Hange staggered to get another glass of wine.
"Oh... t-this? I borrowed it from Mikasa"
"She let you have her dress?"
"Yep. I first asked Historia but I figured it'll be too small on me. So I went to her instead. Why? Does it look bad on me?"
"N-no it doesn't... Maybe you should stop drinking. You'll get drunk anytime soon"
She wafted her hand to shake it off gulping down the current glass of wine. She reached for another one.
"Hange stop it.", Levi grabbed her hand taking the glass off her. She whined in a childish manner but accepted defeat in the end anyway. Levi watched her run back to the group of men who were all drinking and frankly enjoying this new Hange Zoe. Some even tried attempting to grope her ass but luckily she moved away unintentionally. She was ranting some random shit about science to the point she pad no attention to the hungry men around her. Especially Mike. That same guy who had stuck his face in mud water on their first encounter. The damn gutless dick-for-brains. He was fiddling with her hair and all that stuff and Levi could only feel disgusted at the sight. But he was currently feeling disabled as he could not walk properly due to the cut on his right leg.
"Enjoying the night, Captain Levi?" Levi looked up. Again after turning his gaze from Hange.
"No."
"Why not?", she attempted to sit next to him which she succeeded at without having a look from the man she had loved for years now.
"Because it's sickening", he carried on looking at Hange's direction and Petra followed.
What a mindless slut she had thought.
"You're obviously intrigued by Hange", she turned back to Levi "Is it to do with her current appearance"
He swiftly moved his his to face her sternly, narrowing his eyes.
"No. I have to go. Maybe later", he told her quickly getting up.
"Do you need help"
"I am not disabled, Petra. I can walk fine on my own". He stood up with a clear indication of anger heading to the direction where the men were drinking and losing themselves. He grabbed Hange's arm leading her out of the noisy hall.
"Aww what was that for? For once I had the attention to myself and you just had to ruin it!"
"Have you looked at yourself? You're in a tight dress that definitely shows your curves AND it's short. Those men were drooling over you", Levi chided
"Are you jealous?"
"Don't be stupid. Anyway I had something to show you. Don't see this as anything special by the way"
She nodded quickly as he led her to one of the fields that were used to keep captured Titans. There were two huge tent placed in the middle of the spacious surrounding.
"Go inside", he told her. Hange reluctantly walked in and minutes later, Levi could hear a squeal from inside. He saw in coming. She raced out, squeezing the life out of Levi. He left his face unamused and let Hange scream out every bit of excitement she'd been keeping in.
"Thank you so much!"
