《It's Just As Cold Outside -[ Sonic Reader Insert ]》Route A - Whisper and Silver 🎨

"Whisper, Silver, you guys are fantastic rangers... but you'll need another pair of fists to fight right up against that edgy kid." You threw your hands in the air, pumping them into fists and squeezing hard to show your power.
After the show you looked at your own one armored glove, a real danger to whoever's face was going to meet with it soon.
Sonic shrugged with a smile on his face, "Then it's settled, let's get going before the Deadly Six have a chance to get stronger."
"ALRIGHT!"
The crowd of heroes cheered, tossing their hands in the air as Eggman flipped on the portal generator, "I've got the adjustments with the portal apertures done. Now get out of here you pests."
Of course, everyone ignored Eggman's 'insult' and carried on towards. Tails raced towards Eggman and double checked the evil genius's measurements. With a thumbs up, the little fox stood back ready for his own departure, "I've got all the coordinates set! Here, stand in a line and I'll generate them right in front of you."
"Right."
"Ok."
"Roger..."
You, Silver, and Whisper stood next to each other as you faced the horizon. Nothing caught your eyes until a green glow cast upon your faces as the portal began to spiral into view. With wide (e/c) eyes, you looked at the phenomena as if the magical green twisting time loop cast a spell.
"Good luck everyone. Wish I could come with you." Sonic, still running on the little treadmill, saluted each team as they began to jump through. Your teammates jumped through, leaving you to look at the blue hero and smile.
"We won't let you down Sonic."
"I know you won't (Y/n), now get out there and show those villains the hero you are!"
"How inspiring..." Eggman mumbled in the background, tinkering with Metal Sonic as he stood guard.
Like you were jumping off the back of the faceship again, you doubled back, skipping, and fell through the portal back first.

. . . . .
You were now successfully in Orchardville. In the shadows of a tree's canopy your tem crouched on a trick branch, spying on the large mechanical owl your target was typically flying around on. The giant metal bird banked to the left, hiding Zor from view.
Whisper had her sniper sights on him, shaking her head as the zette dodged out of sight, "No clear shot..."
You tilted your head to Silver, who was anxious to get this mission done so they could stop the virus, "Hey, could you maybe just grab it with your physic powers?"
"I'm not that precise... but..." The white hedgehog took a step forwards on the branch, narrowing his eyes at the strange purple, and angsty looking, teenage zette. "I can be direct if you can cover me."
Silver was about to leap forwards as the owl grazed by, but you caught his arm before he could jump. He hissed a little as you held him back, "What?-"
"I can tell you want to make this personal, but let's just get the gem and get out. Whisper." You turned to the masked wolf, who continued to look through her sights, but you saw her ear flick towards you as she listened, "you cover Silver like he mentioned, and I'll take the giant owl. We can ground the target and take away his advantage."
"Roger." The sniper nodded, and Silver shrugged and tilted his head back and forth as your plan made good sense.
"Good." You focused on the robot owl again, your eyes tracking it like a laser guided missile. "Silver, you go when he gets close again..."
WOOSH! As the giant mech swooped by Silver launched into the air right at Zor on top.
"Listen up! I come from a future ruined by the selfish ambitions and!-"
You threw your arms in the air, mouthing, 'What did I just say-' as the hedgehog's voice faded off into the distance. You saw magic form around the zette as Silver began to engage. "Whisper, you know what to do, I'll go after him."

Jumping from the perch, you pursued on foot, racing along the ground as your gaze shifted to look up at the hedgehog, who traded physic punches with Zor. They continued to argue about the future. You muttered Silver's name in displeasure as he let the situation become personal. It was a potential disadvantage, an emotional one, that could be used against the poor hero. They soon gave small talk as they continued to battle, practically magic on magic.
Energy flew through the air as you raced towards a tall tree capable of giving you access to the hull of the mecha owl. You beat it there and stood waiting to jump, hyping yourself up and shaking your wrists. 'Alright. Alright let's do this.'
You counted, lining up your timing. The owl banked to the left, here it comes... 3... 2... 1.... GO!
Using the trunk as a launched pad, your foot punched forwards as you sprung into the air, reaching your hands forwards as you attempted to grip the robot as it breezed by.
CHINK! You head the metal of your armored hand scrap against the owl. You got it! The force of inertia caused your arm to hurt, being pulled back by such wind. As your body grew to the same speed, you felt better and began to find a weak spot on the mech.
Closer now, you could hear the hero and villain battering back and forth still.
Your eyes grew when you found a loose panel, most likely from some recent, intentionally bad repairs... 'hehe, can't believe I'm thanking those two little robots.'
When the Deadly Six took over the faceship, Rouge must have told Orbot and Cubot to sabotage some of their equipment.
Raking your claws into the metal, you tore out the metal plate and exposed the delicate internal wiring. Grabbing the wires, you weren't sure which to break, a classic little instance. Blue or Red, Green? 'Come on...'
Your claw began to graze the red one, unsure. Your focus was broken when Silver yelled above you as the zette began to ridicule the heroes for being all "disgustingly heroic and selfless."
Silver, like a true hero, responded with, "Because I have faith in others that things will get better. AND! Because I've got a guardian angel and a super soldier the likes have you have never seen watching over me!"
"Bazinga." You tore the red wire, causing sparks to fly from the owl's head. Its navigation was screwed up completely, and couldn't identify the ground. The guardian angel herself, Whisper, had silently lined up whispin crystals to bounce a shot of light right into Zor's chaos emerald.
The energy blasted it out of his chest and destroyed the containment holder. The blue gem bounced into the air. Silver's eyes widened as he raced to catch it before Zor realized what just happened.
"NO!" Zor yelled, trying to reach out, however his arm fell short when you climbed up top onto the owl mech.
You began to laugh behind him, frightening the weakened zette, "How about that kiddo! HAHA!!" You jumped up, throwing your fists into the mech, crushing it with your strength and sending it crashing into the forest below.
Silver grabbed you with his psychic powers before you fell with it too. He held the emerald in his hand and flew you both back to Whisper, who had taken her mask off and smiled, silently cheering.
Zor was left on the ground, zombots slowly making their way towards the grounded villain who lay flat on the ground, accepting his fate. He reveled about how you trapped him down there, calling it perfect, a villain's act.
But you all agreed he deserved it- Especially Silver, who never looked back at the zette. The portal opened again, and your team made their way back in one piece.
still sucks but I'm getting better and it's only symptoms day 3. Still stuffy and runny but coughing is pretty rare.

The Swarm
Anthony had been looking forward to playing the hottest new virtual reality game. When he put the VR helmet on he was met with a prompt asking him if he wanted to take a test to become a swarm knight. Thinking that this was one of the classes in the game he accepted. Instead of finding himself in the game, Anthony found that he was transported to a different planet. A planet where he would learn the greater truth of the universe. Everything was based on magic in the universe. Except that magic was based on nanorobots, called the swarm, that had been created through highly advanced technology. Genetics determined the access level and the amount of control that someone could wield over the swarm, and therefore their status in this society. Long ago Earth had been cutoff from the swarm. Now that it had been rediscovered, Earth would be reintegrated into the swarm. Unfortunately when that happened all the current technology on Earth would fail and be replaced with the ability to use magic. In effect, it would be the system apocalypse. As someone able to control the swarm, Anthony found himself in the unique position to influence how Earth was reintegrated into the swarm. Perhaps he could change things enough to save most of the people on Earth. But first he would have to learn how to control the swarm and become one of the leaders in the society he found himself in. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it somewhere between PG-13 and R for occasional scenes of violence, gore, and nudity.
