Viviana had read Christians Instagram post and went into the kitchen, tied up in her red satin robe and smiled at her husband who was making breakfast for their kids. "You are such a little sap.." She said, giggling.
"Because I wanted to show appreciation for my beautiful wife?" He asked, smiling at her. "You look beautiful now too, damn..."
She rolled her eyes, looking up at him, "Sap." She giggled and walked over by the kids. "Good morning, sunshines!"
Eiley looked over at Viviana and smiled, "Momma! Me and Bubby make colors!!" She exclaimed, showing Vivi the picture she had colored.
"Oh wow, Eils! That is so pretty! I love it very much. Can we hang it on the fridge?" She took the picture from her daughter, kissing her cheek.
"Pwease! Daddy like it too!" Eiley said, getting Sawyer's he had scribbled all over. "Bubby twied but he not that good.."
Viviana laughed, "It's good for how little he is! He's just gonna have to learn from his big sissy!" She moved and sat on the floor, sitting Sawyer on her lap, "Hi, my handsome boy!" She kissed all over his face.
Christian looked over when he heard how giggly Sawyer was and saw Viviana smiling. He admired Viviana being an amazing mother, and how she could literally drop everything to make sure her kids were okay. He wishes he could be able to handle the stress and juggle baseball, life, and everything he has to balance.
He finished making breakfast, making plates for the four of them. "Babe, breakfast's ready." He called out, and Vivi smiled at Sawyer, picking him up and walked into the kitchen, Eiley following behind.
"Mmm, this looks really good, baby." She said, kissing Christian's cheek before sitting Sawyer in his highchair. "You seriously didn't have to do all of this." Viviana smiled at him,
"I wanted to. I was in a cooking mood, so why not cook for my family?" He told her, leaning to kiss her lips.
Viviana returned the kiss then smiled at him as she pulled away, "I need to shower and get ready after breakfast." She giggled, "But my robe is so comfy."
"Would look better on the floor, but.." He mumbled, going to sit at the table. Viviana hit his arm. "What?! I'm just saying what's true!"

"You're a little devil," She said, going to sit down at the table and cut up Sawyer's food for him so it was bite size and easy for him to eat. "Here you go, buddy..." She smiled, helping him out.
"Mama.." Sawyer babbled, "Bubba.." He reaches for his bottle and Viviana smiled big.
"Of course you can have your bubba, baby!" She kissed his cheek, "Babe, did you hear him?!"
Christian looked over, "If I heard him correctly, he just called for his momma and his bottle..." A smile curved on his lips.
Viviana nodded, the smile never leaving her face. "Oh my goodness, Sawyer! You're growing up too fast." She kissed his cheek, fixing his little curls. He was blessed with the little curls that resembled Christian's hair, better than her pin straight blonde hair. Both of her kids got the curls, and Sawyer was a spitting image of Christian when he was a baby. They really were beautiful kids.
Eiley giggles, "He say momma!"
"Yeah, Eiley girl! Soon he's gonna be saying your name!!" Vivi smiles at her daughter who giggled again, taking a bite of her waffle.
Christian smiled at them, "Both of you are growing up too fast!!"

Today was Christians birthday and Viviana was more than thrilled to celebrate it with him. She made breakfast for the family and looked at Eiley, "Are you excited to celebrate daddy's birthday?"
Eiley nodded, "He get cake too, momma?"
"Of course! What's a birthday without cake?!" Viviana smiled. She got Sawyer all strapped in his high chair and kissed his forehead. "You're so sleepy, aren't you?" She smiled at him. "I promise you can have nap time a little earlier today, okay, bub?"
Christian walked out in the kitchen, "Whats all this?"
Viviana looked at Christian and smiled, "For you, birthday boy!!" She walked over by him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him lightly. "Happy birthday.."
"Thank you, baby girl.." He smiled at her, kissing her cheek. "You made breakfast?"
She nodded, "Eiley even helped me out a little.."
Christian smiled, "Did she really!" He looked at Eiley, "You helped momma?"
Eiley smiled at Christian, "Yeah, daddy! I help pancakes!"
"My little helper!" He smiled at Eiley, picking her up. "I bet they're gonna taste delicious because you made them with love." Christian kissed her cheek, causing Eiley to giggle.
Viviana finished setting the table and looked at the two, "Shall we eat?" Christian nodded and sat Eiley down in a chair, then sat across from Vivi, smiling at her. "What?"
Christian shrugged, "Thank you for doing this. You really didn't have to.." He told her, pouring himself a glass of orange juice. "I really appreciate it, it means a lot. My girls made me breakfast and my little man just sat, looked handsome and watched." He chuckled, pinching Sawyer's cheek.
Eiley smiled big, "I make pancakes for you, daddy!" She exclaimed, taking a drink from her sippy cup.
"That you did! And they taste delicious!" Christian said, taking another bite of his food. "Mmm, mm mm, my little princess is a chef!" He told her, making her giggle.

Later that day, the couple decided to go out on the town for Christian's big day. Gia offered to watch the kiddos while Viviana treated her husband to an amazing birthday. First stop was lunch for the two.
Viviana walked in the restaurant, holding Christian's hand. "I figured we could eat at your favorite place in Milwaukee.." She said, looking back at Christian who flashed a smile at her.
"Oh, of course, baby. I'll eat here anytime." Christian said, following Vivi and the host to their table and sat across from Vivi. "Thank you, again."
"No need to thank me, it's your day, we're going to celebrate." She replied, looking at her husband, reaching across the table to grab his hand. "You deserve a nice break from reality to just focus on you. All my attention is on you today," Viviana smiled at him.
Christian shook his head, the smile never leaving his lips, "You are too good to me. Don't know how I ever got lucky to get you back.."
Viviana shrugged, "I think it was just meant to be, honestly." She said, "You and I had an amazing connection at first, and sure it fizzled, but, I think having that little break to allow ourselves to breathe, only just made our relationship now stronger than ever.." She explained to him, kissing his hand gently.
"I mean, shit, look at us, we're married and have two beautiful babies." She laughed, shaking her head, "We really are in a strong marriage and I wouldn't want to be spending my life with anyone else.."
"Alright sap," Christian teased, "No, I agree with you. I think that our relationship is super strong." He smiled at her, "I got a beautiful girl, two amazing kids, a great job, I think I'm pretty content with where my life is."
Viviana smiled, taking a sip of her drink, "You are such an amazing dad to those kiddos. Eiley adores the shit out of you," She giggled.
Christian chuckled, "She's definitely a daddy's girl. But hey, I'm not complaining. I love that they both are so attached to the two of us. Makes me feel better about being a parent, I don't have so much doubt in my head."
"Why would you doubt yourself? You are an amazing father, Christian. The kids love you and you always show that you will do anything for them. I don't think they've ever been upset with you, and I certainly have never been upset with you about them." Viviana told him, "You seriously are the best dad to Eiley and Sawyer."
"I really appreciate that, babe." Christian commented, "I think we make a good tag team."
Viviana nodded in agreement, "We kick ass together," She laughed, taking another sip. "I'm proud of you,"
Christian smiled, "And I'm proud of you, babe. Pushing two kids out? Damn, I could never." He chuckled, causing Viviana to laugh again. "You're really Super-Mom."
"Couldn't have gotten through it without the help of Super-Dad by my side."

The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody
[participant in the 2018 NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody is a LitRPG system story where each person transitions into the system, or SCHEMA as this system is known, innocent and unaware of his former life. Following the tutorial, memories return, but by this point, each person has a better chance of accepting their new world. It also gives them an opportunity to start from scratch, fresh without all the baggage of their former lives dictating their decisions in the early stages of the process. I don’t expect this will necessarily turn into an action-packed heroic tale, my intent is to create a character who wants to have just an ordinary, but reasonably comfortable life. I don’t know myself how well he will succeed, there may be twists and Tom may discover some heroism hidden deep inside. I guess we’ll find out together. This is my first writing attempt. I’ve wanted to write all my life, but I’ve never been able to develop the proper discipline to put in the work. I hope I complete the challenge and work my way past this hump. I am writing this as part of the NaNoWriMo Royal Road Challenge. While I will try to self-edit as I go, the challenge requires close to 2,000 words a day, so parts of the story may be rough, and things like plot lines may not make as much sense as any of us would like. If all goes well, and I complete the challenge, I plan on going back through everything and trying to polish it up. In the meanwhile, thank you for reading and I hope I don’t disappoint.

Excerpt: He snagged her wrist gently before she could flounce away, his fingers warm and firm. “You need to come with me, girl,” he said earnestly. “I don't need to do anything.” She was indignant. She knew that sometimes her kind of abilities could be unruly but Nyssa was quite capable of taking care of herself. She’d lived with her abilities since she was thirteen. She’d learned to handle them herself. “It’s dangerous for you to be on your own,” Del said, tightening his grip on her wrist. She pulled her arm from his grip and he let her go. He could force her to go with him, she knew, but he wouldn’t. “I don’t need your help, Superman.” She didn’t look at him. “I’ll be back in a week,” he said, ignoring her protests. “Be ready to leave with me.” He breezed past her, discarding the necklaces he still held on the desk and leaving. Nyssa sighed, watching his back as he disappeared down the street. “Fat chance, Superman.”
