"Vivi," Christian said, shaking her lightly, "It's like eleven in the morning, and I have to be at the ballpark in two hours, I would like for you to be up.." He told his wife as she rolled onto her other side, groaning.
"No, five more minutes.." She said, putting the pillow over her head. Viviana hadn't slept well after the game last night and didn't really know why. It was a constant tossing and turning situation, pacing back and forth from checking on her two beautiful kids, to trying to lay back down and cuddle up with her husband.
Christian sighed, "You have to get up at some point, babe." He tells her, crawling in bed next to her, moving the pillow.
Viviana looked at him tiredly, "How are you so chipper?" She asks, pulling the blanket up to her chin. "I slept so bad last night.." She said with a whine, turning away from him.
"Hey, I'm sorry I woke you then.." Christian frowned, "Baby, look at me."
Viviana turned and faced him again. He kissed her forehead lightly then her soft lips.
"My mom's going to the game today, so I can have her bring the kiddos and you can just come for game time if you want to sleep a little bit.." Christian suggested and Viviana nodded.
"I would like that.." She said quietly, looking at Christian, "I don't know why I couldn't sleep, I just tossed and turned and couldn't stay asleep for more than an hour at a time.." She explained to him as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him.
He nodded, "I'll cuddle you for a little bit but then I'll have to get going." He told her as he rubbed her side.
"Thank you.." She whispered, kissing his cheek lightly. "You're really warm.."
Christian chuckled, "Yeah? Glad I can be a personal space heater. Also, what do you think about a little date night tomorrow? My game's during the day so I figured we could go to dinner, and my mom said she would love to watch the kiddos for a bit. My cousin Eliza is coming over tomorrow so she'll be excited to see Sawyer and Eiley," He explained to Vivi who just nodded,
"I think that would be nice," She said with a sleepy smile. "We haven't had a date night in a while."
"Exactly, which is why I suggested it," He smiled at her. "I got some good places we can go to. Or, we can do a little trip down memory lane and go to our favorite date night spot."
Viviana nodded, "Let's do that. We haven't been there in a while.." She said, laying her head on his shoulder, "That'll be so nice.."
She was asleep again within the hour and Christian carefully moved out of bed and walked into the living room where Alecia was with the kids.
"Hey, mom? You think you can bring the kiddos with you to the ballpark? Viviana didn't sleep well last night and is extremely tired. She's still gonna come, but she's not gonna come to pregame stuff."

Alecia nodded, looking over at Christian, "Of course, hon. I was up at like midnight last night after you all went to sleep and I saw her walk to check on Sawyer and Eiley a couple of times, I didn't know if she was just really anxious? Or what, but yes of course I will take the kiddos with me."
Eiley looked at Christian, "Where momma?"
"Momma's sleeping. She didn't really get a lot of sleep last night, bug. She's still gonna come to the game, though!" Christian told Eiley as he went to go sit by them. He smiled when he saw Sawyer in his bouncing chair, bouncing like crazy and giggling when Christian went to sit by him. "Hey, little man!" He took him out of the chair and kissed his forehead.
Alecia smiled, "You are such an amazing father, Christian. I seriously am so proud of you," She told her son, watching how Christian just made his son smile so big and giggle like crazy.
"Thank you, mom. It means a lot. I was super stressed during Vivi's pregnancy with Sawyer. It mainly was over Eiley and making sure she knew she was still going to be our little girl when he was born." He told her, sitting Sawyer in his lap,
"I think it was all the fact of making sure that she didn't get jealous or think we were neglecting her," He continued.
"I'm sure it was a little stressful at first, but you two are amazing parents. You make these kiddos so happy and loved, you truly have matured in just the last two years, it's crazy." Alecia commented, handing a crayon over to Eiley when she requested a new color.
Christian nodded, "I give huge props to Viviana though. I don't know how she does it. Two pregnancies and then bounces back like it's nothing? She's a pro, honestly. I'm so in love with her and so proud of her."
Alecia smiled, "It makes me happy that you two worked things out and found one another again. I knew you two were it for one another. You two just went together and I don't think that even you guys could see yourselves with another person."
He just shook his head, "Yeah, when the break up happened, it was pretty rough on the both of us. But, I'm glad we patched things up. Now we're married and have two amazing kids, I wouldn't want anything greater than that." He said, fixing Sawyers little hat he had on.
"I'm just really proud of the man you've become, Christian," Alecia told her son, handing Eiley another crayon. "You truly have grown into such a mature, responsible young man and I just cannot express how proud I am of you." She said before kissing Christian's cheek.
"Thank you, mom.." Christian replied, "It really does mean a lot." He looked at Sawyer who was whining in his arms, "What? Am I not giving you enough attention?" He smiled and kissed Sawyer's forehead, "You get all the attention all the time! Sometimes more than your sissy!"

Eiley looked over at Christian and gasped, "Hey! I loved the mostest." She told him, crossing her arms.
Christian laughed, "You gonna get pouty with me now? I don't like that attitude on you." He said and Eiley just simply uncrossed her arms and nodded. "Much better, now c'mere and give daddy a hug and say you're sorry.."
She toddled over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck as Alecia took Sawyer. "I luh you daddy, I sowwy.." Eiley said, kissing her dad's cheek. He loved his little girl so much.
"I forgive you. Thank you for being a big girl and apologizing. I appreciate that." Christian said, kissing Eiley's cheek and hugged her back.
"I go game today?" She asked Christian, looking at him, "And I get hat?"
"You wanna wear one of my hats?" He asked her, immediately earning a quick nod from her. "Well, lets go see which ones I have." He picked Eiley up and walked into the bedroom, "But be quiet, momma's sleeping.." He said as he put his finger to his lips and shushed. He grabbed two of his hats for Eiley to decide which one she wanted to wear before walking out and shutting the bedroom door quietly behind him, making sure he didn't wake Viviana up.
"I want that one." Eiley said, pointing at a lighter blue Brewers cap Christian held in the hand that wasn't holding Eiley. "It go wiff my shirt, daddy."
He nodded, "It does, good job, princess!" He put it on her head, adjusting the strap in the back to make sure it fit her head then set her down. "Go show nana!"
"Nana! Nana! Look what daddy give to me!" Eiley exclaimed as she went down the stairs, going to where Alecia was. Christian truly was so proud of how much Eiley had learned in just the three years of her little life. She was running around, causing chaos, being a little girl, and he loved and adored her so much. She truly was a little daddy's girl, and he wouldn't want it any other way.

Viviana eventually woke up, getting herself showered up and changed into leggings and one of Christian's hoodies before making her way to the ballpark. The kids were with Alecia in the family and friends suite so she decided to go into the clubhouse to see her husband.
She smiled when she saw Christian just looking down at his phone, so she walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing his cheek. "Why stare at your phone when you can stare at me?" She giggled.
Christian turned his head, smiling when he heard his beautiful wife's giggle. "I knew it was you when you giggled." He held his arms open, allowing Vivi to sit on his lap and hug him. "Sleep okay?" He asked her, rubbing her side.
Vivi nodded, "Yes, thank you so much for doing that." She told him, kissing his cheek again before placing a kiss on his lips. "I feel so much better now.."
"Good, that's all I wanted. The kiddos are with my mom in the family and friends suite. Probably making trouble with Greyson and Celine," He chuckled, running a hand through Viviana's hair, "You look cute, babygirl.."
She blushed, shaking her head, "No I don't! I literally just rolled out of bed, brushed my hair out and put on the first thing I could find. I look like a bum."
"Oh my god," He rolled his eyes, "You could literally dress up in a damn unicorn onesie and I would think you look so beautiful." Christian said, laughing. "You seriously look cute, babe." He told her before kissing her again.
"Well, thank you." She replied before putting her hand on his cheek, kissing him back.
Some of the guys walked in and started making kissy noises and ruffling up Christian's hair, "I called it!" Lo said, laughing. "I knew he would be back here with his girl!"
"To be fair, I just got here," Viviana said as she pulled away from the kiss, looking at the guys.
"Didn't look like it by the means of that kiss," Travis said, causing the guys to laugh with him.
Christian just shook his head, "You guys suck," He laughed, "She was at home all day, didn't feel the greatest."
Vivi shook her head, "I slept like shit last night, so I had to skip BP today guys."
Moose frowned, "Damn! You're always at BP though!"
"I know, but I just couldn't sleep last night. I don't know what it is with me being out here, but like my mom alert is on high when Sawyer's down the hall from me, even if his big sister is in the same room.." Vivi shrugged, "But that's just me rambling."
"You guys ruined all the fun for me," Christian said, smirking at Viviana and earned a groan from the guys. "What if I wanted to get my wife alone?"
Travis hit Christian's shoulder, "Then go to the bathroom! That shit you can at least lock up!"
Vivi couldn't help but blush super red as she just hid her face in the crook of Christian's neck.
"That takes the fun out of it too!" Christian replied, laughing. "Whatever, though. I'll have her to myself after the game." Viviana and him both stood up, "Who's ready for a good ballgame?"
He waited for the rest of the guys to walk out before grabbing Viviana's hand and walked with her down the hall to the dugout.
She turned to face him, standing on her tiptoes to kiss him, "I love you. And good luck today, you're gonna kill it." Viviana said as she kissed him again.
"Thank you, baby." He smiled at her, "I'm gonna hit a home run for the kiddos, promise." He said as he kissed her cheek then her lips before going into the dugout to play yet another game of baseball.
Viviana walked away with a smile on her face. She was so in love with him.
