Christian was leaving for a week to fly out to California to tend to things with the California Strong foundation. Although it was only a week, he dreaded leaving Viviana, especially with how far she was in her pregnancy. She was at risk of going into early labor due to her body being so small. The last thing he wanted was for her to go into labor and him not being home for her.
Viviana had been busy all day, trying to get everything together for her husband before he left. She would be lying if she said she wasn't upset. 'Only a week', she kept telling herself. But anything could happen in a week with her pregnancy, the due date inching closer and closer.
"Baby, I promise I'll be fine.." Viviana told Christian as he helped her pack up his suitcase. Christian moved her to sit on the bed, "Chris, I'm fine. I can help you out once in a while."
Christian shook his head, finishing up the packing process, "Vivi, no. You're really pregnant and you need rest. I can tell you're tired, and you just keep going and going and you're just going to burn out..." He looked at her, concern in his eyes, "Please..."
She sighed, nodding as she complied with his request. "I just wanna help you.." She said, her voice quiet.
"I know you do, and I really appreciate that. But, you're due any week or day now and the last thing I want is you overworking yourself.." Christian wrapped his arms around Viviana as best as he could with her bump being a barrier. "It's only a week."
Viviana nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck, "Only a week. I'll have Eiley, I think we'll be fine." She told him as she stood on her tip toes to kiss him, softly.
He returned the kiss before pulling away and smiled at her, "You really are an amazing wife, you know that?"
"Oh shush your mouth." Viviana giggled, "And you're an amazing husband." She smiled and walked out into the kitchen, Christian followed shortly after. "You better say hi to your mom for me, I miss her." She looked back at Christian.
"I'm sure she'll be asking about you and the baby." Christian chuckled, grabbing something to drink out of the fridge, "She probably will fly out after he's born to see him and Eiley. Cameron should be home by then too, hopefully." He commented, noting that his brother was still on active duty.

"Do you ever miss Cam?" Viviana asked him, leaning against the counter, "Like, you and him seem the closest compared to you and Collin, and I'm sure with Cam being in the Marines, it doesn't really make life easy."
Christian shrugged, "I would be lying if I said I didn't miss him. So yeah, I do. I mean, going from talking to him every day to now here and there? It's just a whole different thing. It's been a couple years since he went, but, you never really go out of the adjustment." Christian replied, sighing as he looked at Vivi.
She nodded, listening to her husband talk, "Yeah, I get it. Makes total sense. I mean, I don't really know what you have to go through for it, but, you know I'm always there for you when you wanna talk to someone." Viviana told him, smiling small at him.
"I know, and I really appreciate that. I like that we can go to each other for anything and everything." Christian said with a smile across his lips as he walked over by her. He put his hands on her belly, looking at where his hands were then up at her, "I can't wait for him to get here."
Viviana smiled, nodding in agreement, "Me either. I just want him out." She giggled, "He's getting annoying in there and my belly is huge." She shook her head, looking down at her stomach before looking back up at Christian, "Still can't believe we're having another baby...After everything that went down last year, I still think it's a miracle.."
"I got scared for you, honestly. I didn't know if you were going to be able to have another baby after that miscarriage, and that was my worst fear for you." He crouched down, kissing her stomach softly, "Because I know how bad you've wanted a sibling for Eiley."
"I can't wait to be able to see you and our son together. He's going to be your best friend, I can already tell." Viviana smiled as Christian stood up and kissed her. "You are Eiley's best friend, for sure."
"So are you, baby! She always asks when you're with Gia or some of your friends, 'When's momma gonna be home? I miss her' or something like that," Christian laughed, "Eiley is a very polite little girl. We raised her well." He smiled at Vivi who nodded in agreement. Viviana felt a kick against her stomach and looked down, putting her hand over where their baby had kicked, "He being active?"

Viviana looked at Christian, smiling, "Oh, you bet." She giggled, "He always gets really excited when he hears your voice."
Christian crouched down, putting his hands on either side of Viviana's belly again, "You giving momma a hard time? Your big sister always did that too, always gave your momma a hard time before she came into the world." He kissed her stomach, Viviana just admired how caring and sweet Christian was towards their baby that wasn't even out in the real world yet.

Eiley held onto Christian's leg as he was making his way out the door to head off to California for the week. "Daddy, no! You are staying home!" She exclaimed, holding onto his leg until Christian moved her.
"Eils, I gotta go. You know I wish I could stay. But, I have work stuff to do. It's only a week." Christian said as he crouched down to Eiley's height, "You and momma are gonna have so much fun. You're in charge of making sure momma is okay, got me? If she needs help with anything, you're the first person to help, okay?"
Eiley nodded, frowning as she crossed her arms, "You going too long.." She replied, moving to hug Christian. "Get home fast!"
Christian hugged his daughter back, sitting back on the floor as he embraced her in his arms. "I will get home as soon as I can. Momma said she's going to videochat me every night with you so we can talk." He kissed her head, "I love you so much, Eils."
"I wuv you, daddy.." She said before she gave him a small kiss on the cheek and moved, looking over at Viviana who was standing behind her.
Christian stood up and smiled at Vivi before embracing as much as her as he could in his arms and then kissed her, softly. "I told Eiley that if you need any help at all that she's the first person you ask." He chuckled, "If anything happens and you need me home, I will be on the first flight home, okay?"
Viviana laughed, "Christian, just go have fun, go get work done, go say hi to your mom for me." She kissed him again, "Everything is going to be okay, I promise." Viviana said as she ran her fingers through his hair, "I love you, have a safe trip."
"I love you too," He said before giving her one last kiss before crouching down and kissed Eiley on the cheek, "And I love you, Eiley Rose. Remember our deal."
Eiley nodded, "I help momma, daddy." She told him as he stood up again and opened the door.
"I'll call you guys when I land." Christian said before walking out of the door with his suitcase and was out on his way to Cali.
Vivi sighed, "Well, Eils, just you, me, and your baby brother for the next week. What should we do?"
"Bebe here?" Eiley looked around, "Where he?"
"No, baby," Viviana laughed, "He's still in my belly, but, he's technically here too, so he gets to have fun with us."
"Momma...I miss daddy.." Eiley said as she teared up and looked down at the ground.
Viviana frowned, taking Eiley's hand and walked to the couch, "C'mere, baby." Viviana sat down and patted the spot next to her as Eiley crawled up on the couch and laid her head against her mom. "He's gonna be home before you know it! He's just got work stuff to do! He's a busy guy."
Eiley sniffled, nodding as Vivi spoke, "He gone too long.."
"I know, a week is a long time. But, remember? He was gone a couple months ago for six weeks! That was the longest time you had been away from him!" Vivi told her daughter, trying to comfort her, "I'm sure he's gonna miss you like crazy. Who is gonna jump on him in the morning to wake him up?? He won't have you there!"
Eiley looked at Viviana, "He gonna sweep all day, momma! He gotta get up!"
"Maybe we can ask Uncle Ryan or Uncle Trav to wake him up in the morning, huh?"
"Unc Trav! He there too?" Eiley asked, looking confused.
Viviana nodded, "Yeah, the whole team is out there! They got grown up things to do.." She got up, "How about we go watch some Disney movies in bed and eat some snacks, how does that sound?"
"We watch Nemo?" Eiley looked at her mom as she crawled off the couch.
"Of course! Nemo is always on the list, silly! We'll watch all the Disney movies you wanna watch." She took Eiley's hand, leading her to the bedroom to have a mommy/daughter movie marathon.
