"I know it's probably the last thing you wanna do, but, we need to start planning for our wedding.." Viviana told Christian as he sat at the kitchen table and she set down a binder. "I think it's only right that we get some of that squared away before we start planning for Eiley's birthday party, because we haven't talked about wedding plans at all.." She said, sitting next to him.
Christian sighed, "I don't even know who I want to all invite yet." He looked over at the binder, then at Vivi, "Let alone what kind of tux I want to get, how I want the ceremony to go.." He shrugged, "I got nothing."
"I mean, I was thinking a traditional wedding, of course." Vivi looked at him, "I was maybe thinking a light blue theme? I have no idea.." She laughed, shrugging. "I'm not good with planning at all.."
"Like of course I want to have a nice wedding, and I want to do it in like winter. And I know I want Eiley involved, for sure. Just, trying to figure out what to have there, who to have there, where do we get married, do we want a location wedding? All these questions run through my head and I don't want to have to stress about that because I have a million other things to stress about." Christian said, taking a deep breath and looked at his phone.
Vivi took his phone from him. "Christian, we seriously have to get serious about this if we want it to happen.." She looked at him, "I know it stresses you out because believe me, it stresses me out too! I have no idea how to plan a wedding, that's why we have to work together and figure it out."
He shook his head, "We have to plan this, we have to plan Eiley's birthday party, we have to plan where we want to be living next season because I definitely don't think this apartment is going to be enough for the three of us, we have a lot." Christian leaned back, putting his hands behind his head.
Viviana frowned, grabbing Christian's hands, "Hey...Look at me.." Christian looked at her, stress taking over his eyes. "It's a lot, I know, I feel the same way. But we are going to take it one step at a time, together, and not let frustration get the best of us...Okay?" She kissed his hands.
Christian nodded, sighing as he looked at her. "Sorry for getting snappy.." Vivi leaned across the table and kissed him, softly. He kissed her back, pulling away shortly after. "I just need a nap, honestly.." He laughed, shaking his head.
"It's a stressful thing, I know. I got irritated talking about with my mom the other day, because I just have no idea what I want to do.." Viviana said, reaching for his hands again.

"I notice you like to hold my hands a lot.." Christian commented, watching as Vivi grabbed for his hands.
She shrugged, looking at his hands, then at him, "Just a security thing, I guess...I can stop if you want.."
Christian shook his head, "No, baby. I just noticed that you do that a lot. You like holding my hands, which isn't a problem with me. I like that it's kind of a 'security' factor to you. I mean, my hands are like the size of your face but," He chuckled, "Your hands are always soft too." He brought her hand to his lips, kissing it gently.
Vivi smiled at him, "I love holding your hands." She got up, letting go of his hands, "But, since my mom's in town, she wants to take us out to dinner. Gia said she would watch Eiley.." She looked at him, putting her hands on his cheeks.
"I don't see a problem with that, dress code?" He asked, looking up at her.
"Dressy. So maybe a dark pair of jeans and a nice button up? You usually know how to do like business casual. I have a couple dresses I want to try on." She said with a smile and walked into the bedroom.
"Do I get to see each one?" Christian asked, walking behind her.
"Hmm...Nope. Just going to surprise you." She giggled, grabbing the three dresses and went into the bathroom to get ready.
It didn't take long for Christian to get ready so he sat in the living room with Eiley, getting a little bag together for her. "You get to go see aunty Gia, bug! You excited?" He kissed her cheek and Eiley giggled.
"Bia!" Eiley said, giving a big smile to Christian.
"Yeah, you get to go have lots of fun while momma and I go to dinner with grandma. Does that sound cool?" He sat her on his lap and she played with his keys.
"Dada...Mama?" Meaning she was asking for Vivi, who was still in the bathroom getting ready.
Christian smiled, "She should be out soon. Babe, you almost done?" He called out.
Vivi opened the door, "Yeah, just finished brushing my teeth." She walked out, wearing a black cocktail dress that accentuated all of her curves. Christian's jaw nearly fell to the floor; He hadn't seen her dressed up like since before Eiley was born, he was mesmerized. "What do you think?" Vivi spun around and smiled at him.
"I...Holy fuck.." He said, picking Eiley up and walked by her.
"F..Fu..." Eiley tried spitting out.
"No, no, Eiley. That's a bad word. We don't say that." Christian said, looking back at Viviana. "Baby, you look amazing..Wow.."
Vivi blushed, grabbing her clutch, "You really think so?"

Christian nodded, strapping Eiley into her carrier, "I don't lie, babe. Especially when it comes to talking about you." He opened the door, letting Vivi walk out first, grabbing her ass with his free hand.
She swatted her hand back at his, "Quit it!" She giggled, "I don't need Eiley seeing that stuff." Vivi just shook her head, looking at her phone, letting her mom know they were going to drop Eiley off.

They dropped Eiley off at Gia's place and drove off to meet Viviana's mother for dinner. Christian was holding Vivi's hand until he let go of her hand, placing his hand on her thigh. "Babe, you look so good.." He glanced over at her.
"Thank you, baby.." She looked at him, "You look really handsome.." Vivi ran her fingers through his hair. "I like seeing you dressed like this. A little different from the shorts and hoodies.." She laughed, leaning over to kiss his cheek.
Christian moved his hand up a little further on her thigh, Vivi blushed, shaking her head, "Hey..." She moved his hand down, "No funny business."
He laughed, moving his hand back, gripping her thigh, "Who said?"
"I did." Vivi said, looking at him. "You know what you're doing. Don't fool me.."
"I have no idea what you're talking about." He moved his hand up further.
Vivi moved his hand back down, "You do, and it's not about to happen right here."
Christian shrugged, a smirk growing on his lips, "I am not doing nothing. Just admiring my girl and her beautiful body.."
"Stooppp. I'm.." She blushed, "I'm even surprised I even allowed myself to come out like this..." She looked over at him, "It's taken a lot out of me to get in outfits like this.."
"You look absolutely amazing, in anything, and in nothing.." He laughed, looking at her when they parked. "I told you not to worry about it, you look fucking sexy, Vi." Christian leaned over and kissed her. Viviana kissed back, and pulled away, running her fingers through his hair.
"Lets go have a nice dinner with my mom." She said, smiling as she opened the door but Christian got out quickly and ran over to the other side, opening the door for her, "Baby, you didn't have to.."
Christian smiled at her, "I want to. It's the nice fiance thing to do." He held her hand as they walked in, lacing their fingers together.
"I like hearing that out of your mouth..Fiance..." She giggled, "Makes me happy."
"Yeah? I like saying it. I like saying you're my fiance, not my girlfriend.." He kissed her hand as they went and found Vivi's mother.
She got up, smiling and hugged Vivi first then Christian, "How are you guys doing?" She asked as they all sat down.
"We're doing great." Vivi smiled. "Just working on planning things out, starting to plan the wedding and get Eiley's birthday party planned."
Her mother nodded, "How is she doing? Still teething bad?"
"She's been doing much better, still likes the teething rings frozen so she can have her mouth all nice and cold. She hasn't really been sucking her thumb a lot lately either, which makes me wonder if that has anything to do with her teething?" Vivi asked, confused.
"It could be. You teethed really bad; You didn't want anyone touching your mouth, you just wanted the teething ring and even you trying to suck your thumb would hurt your mouth so bad."
Vivi nodded, Christian put his hand on her thigh, "She's also been having issues with her bottles too.." Christian mentioned, "She can take it for a little bit, then she will start whining and get irritated with herself so she'll sit there and pout." He laughed, "But I've been trying to look for other ways or things that she can eat."
"I would honestly say some applesauce or something in one of those squeezy packets." Her mother suggested, and Christian nodded.
Vivi took a sip of wine, looking at her mom, then at Christian. Christian moved his hand up higher on her thigh again, smirking at her and she just shook her head at him, looking at her mom, "How is dad doing?" She asked.
"He's doing good! He misses you, but he hasn't been able to get off of work, so he was stressing." Her mother replied. "But he sends his love to you, Gia, Eiley and Christian."
Viviana nodded, "I wanna bring Eiley down there eventually. I just don't know when a good time is for her to travel on a plane, because I know for sure that Christian and I don't wanna drive."
Christian had his hand up under her dress, playing with the hem of her thong. Viviana slapped his hand under the table, sighing, looking at him in annoyance. He just laughed and took a sip of water with his free hand. Viviana moved his hand, where he just proceeded to move it back, and would do this the rest of the dinner.
****
After dinner, Vivi walked to the car without saying a word to Christian; He had still been teasing with her the entire dinner and she was irritated, trying to have a nice night with her mom who is only in town for a couple of days.
"Viv, why are you irritated?"

Bloodlines
Bloodlines is the first major story set in the far larger and immensely connected universe known as Infinitum. A group of renegades and misfits take into the sky in their fancy skyship to fulfill the prophecy they don't care about and defeat the Empire they care even less about. In the process, they learn things (they would rather not) of the fucked up Universe, dead gods, and the future that holds no mercy. Bloodlines draws inspiration from One Piece. But in the bigger picture, Bloodlines is one of many stories set in Cosmere-like universe where plots stretch beyond planets and star systems and stakes are higher than godhood (like in Malazan chronicles). Currently, I am planning to finish the first arc [Bandit Arc], add 10k words interlude with some revelations, then publish a story happening elsewhere. Then I will be back to write the second arc. For now, the Fifth Region has 8 arcs planned. Officially, there are 5 regions. The Fifth Region is not the shortest but is far from the longest regions. - PS. Pay attention to flavor text. Chapters published weekly.
