《The Courting》Chapter Twelve

Caleb pulled down a long driveway, it twisted and turned and was lined with tall trees.
"We like to be secluded," he said, noticing how I was staring out the window.
He made another turn and then a large building came into view.
"That's the pack house," he said, pointing to the building.
"You live there?" I gape, "It's like a castle."
Once we made it down the long driveway, Caleb got out of the truck and jogged to the other side to open my door for me.
"You can leave your book bag in here," he said, taking it from me and tossing it back into the cab of the truck.
Caleb set a hand on the small of my back and led me up the stone steps.
He opened one of the large doors for us to walk through, and we ended up in a large room with two staircases leading up both sides.
He slipped past the stairs, into a hallway, opening a small door that appeared to be a bathroom. I stood outside the door as he scrubbed his hands and towel dried them before joining me.
"Can I kiss you now?" He asked, setting his hands on either side of my face.
"Please do," I said, smiling.
The kiss was sweet and gentle, but it still sent an electric shock through me that made my knees weak. I set my hands on his waist as his lips moved against mine.
"Ew!" We heard a little voice scream.
I jumped away from Caleb to see a small girl behind me. She shared the same caramel eyes Caleb had and his dark complexion.
Caleb laughed and walked over to her, picking her up in his arms.
"Birdie, this is Molly, my sister," he said, brushing her dark hair from her face.
"Hi," I said, but Molly quickly ducked her head into Caleb's neck, hiding herself with her hair.
"She's a little shy," Caleb laughed. "Do you know where mom and dad are?" He asked her.
She whispered in his ear then, still holding her, he reached out for me with his other hand.
I took his hand and let him lead me down the long hallway, and through different rooms, through so many twists and turns I didn't think I'd ever know how to navigate this place. We stopped in front of a pair of french doors that led to the back yard.
Caleb let go of my hand to open it. He set Molly down and she ran towards a man and a woman, both dressed professionally, as you would assume someone who lived in this house would dress.
"There you are!" The woman exclaimed, picking the little girl up. "Where did you run off to?"
Molly pointed towards Caleb and I and the woman's eyes widened. She smacked the arm of the man next to her and he turned around, seeing us as well.
The woman put Molly down and walked towards us.
"Is this her?" The woman asked Caleb, before turning her gaze to me. Her eyes began to fill with tears as she approached me, her hands rested against her chest.

"Mom, this is Birdie," Caleb said.
The woman embraced me in a tight hug, Caleb never let go of my hand so I only had one arm to hug her back with.
"I'm Adeline," she said as she pulled away from the hug, "and this is my husband Arthur."
Arthur walked up to Caleb and set a hand on his shoulder.
"Nice job," he said, winking at him.
Caleb laughed and pushed his father's hand away.
"She's his mate! She loves him!" Molly yelled, pulling on her mother's hand.
I choke at her proclamation as Arthur took Adeline's place in hugging me.
"Welcome to the family," he said.
I thanked him quietly.
I looked around them and saw a practical village worth's of people in the back yard, setting up tables and chairs.
"Do you want to meet everyone?" Caleb asked.
"She'll get to meet them all tomorrow at the party, maybe just give her some time to adjust," Adeline said.
"Party?" I asked, looking at Caleb.
"Come on I'll give you a tour," He said, dismissing my question and tugging on my hand lightly to lead me back inside.
"What party?" I asked, as we walked through the maze of hallways.
"It's more for the whole pack than for you," he said, leading me down a new corridor.
"You didn't tell me there's going to be a party, I don't have anything to wear."
We stopped in front of a door, in a hallway lined with doors. Caleb opened it and led me inside.
Once inside, he closed the door and pushed my back against it, kissing me passionately. My hands got lost in his hair as his were set on my hips, riding up my sweater.
"So you love me, huh?" He smirked.
"I never said that," I countered.
Caleb lifted me, wrapping my legs around his waist and carrying me to his bed. He set me down and climbed on top of me, kissing my neck.
"God, you're so sexy," he groaned, grinding his hips into mine.
"Caleb," I breathed, "you're family's here."
He pulled his head away from my neck to look at me.
"It's a fifteen thousand square foot house with a hundred acres of property," he said, pushing some of my hair away from my face.
"Yeah, but don't werewolves have...super hearing?"
Caleb laughed at this.
"Yes, but I don't think anyone will intentionally be listening to us," he said, bringing his lips back to mine.
My hands slip under the hem of his shirt and I lightly scrape my nails along his back.
"What do you want?" He asked me, slowly unbuttoning my jeans.
"You," I breathed, my heart practically beating out of my chest.
Caleb dipped his hand down the front of my pants and ran his fingers along me, feeling my arousal he growled in my ear. An actual animalistic growl.
"I can't wait to mark you," he whispered to me.
I jumped as I felt his sharp teeth run along the skin on my neck.
His fingers began to move, slowly, torturing me.

"Caleb," I begged, arching my back.
"I love it when you say my name," he breathed, nipping my ear. "I want to try something new, okay?"
I nodded, too breathless to answer verbally.
Caleb moved to my waist, kissing my stomach as he began to pull my jeans down, my underwear going with. He raised up, pulling each foot out gently. He took my leg in his hand and kissed my ankle, slowly making his way up my leg.
Once his lips reached my thigh I jumped, but he held my leg in place, his lips still moving against the soft skin there.
I squealed as he nipped the inside of my thigh.
My bottom half was completely naked for him now.
I shivered as his large hands slid up my legs, stopping at my hips.
The butterflies wreaked havoc in my stomach as I felt his hot breath against me. I let out a gasp as he licked a solid stripe up my core, my hand flying into his hair.
One of his hands gripped my thigh, holding me in place and the other rested on my stomach.
I push my head back against the pillows as I tried to even out my breathing, but his tongue swirling against me expertly made that impossible.
His hand that was against my stomach moved down towards his face and I cried out in pleasure as he plunged two fingers inside of me. It stung like before, but his tongue soothed the pain.
I could feel the pressure beginning to build as his tongue lapped against me.
"Caleb," I said in a shaky breath.
"It's okay, baby, let go," he said, before he started working his tongue harder against me.
"Oh my God," I gasped before the pressure released.
Caleb moved from between my legs and kissed me hard. I could taste myself on his lips, which made me cringe, but I didn't pull away.
"I want to do something for you," I said, moving out from under him and pushing him down to the mattress.
With shaky hands I unbuckled his belt, but struggled with the button on his jeans.
"We don't have to..." he said, stopping my hands.
"No," I said, "I want to. I've just never done it before."
Caleb sat up, tucking my hair behind my ears and placing his hands on my face.
"I'll walk you through it," he said, kissing me quickly.
He moved me off him and stood up, but as he began to pull his shirt off there was a knock at the door.
"Hey, porn stars, dinners ready!" Jack yelled.
My face turned bright red as I covered it with my hands and buried my face in the pillows.
"We'll be down in a minute!" Caleb yelled back.
He set his hand on my back and rubbed lightly.
"He was just joking," he said, trying to soothe me.
"No, he definitely heard us," I said, my voice muffled.
"No, he didn't," he said, "and if he did. I can always kill him so you never have to see him again."
I sat up, getting off the bed and pulled my pants back on. Caleb threw his shirt over his head, walking over to me.
"Let's go," I said, defeated.
"Hey," he said, grabbing my hand to stop me. I turned around to face him and he placed his lips on my forehead. "He was just kidding, I promise."
I took a deep breath and rubbed my hands over my face, trying to get rid of the feeling of violation.
"What's for dinner?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
Caleb took a second and sniffed the air.
"Smells like chicken," he said, heading for the door.
"You can smell that?" I gawked, "Aren't we on the second floor?"
Caleb was amused by my astonishment.
"What other super powers do you have that I don't know about?" I asked, as he led me down to the dining room.
Caleb led me down the hall to a grand dining space. There was a large table that took up most of the room and dozens of tables on each side.
Holding Caleb's hand I let him lead me to my seat. As he sat down next to me, a girl with long blonde hair walked behind us. I noticed as she ran her hand across the back of Caleb's shoulders before she sat down on the other side of him.
"Hi Caleb," she said, not paying any attention to me.
"Sophie," he greeted her before setting a hand on my thigh, giving me a squeeze. "This is Birdie, my mate."
"Hi," I said.
But Sophie didn't waste her time looking at me, her eyes were only focused on Caleb.
"Hey Sophie," Jack said, kicking her chair, "you're in my seat."
She gave Jack a glare before slowly getting up and walking to a different part of the table.
"What was that about?" I asked.
"Nothing," Caleb said at the same time Jack said, "Girlfriend drama."
My eyes widened. I looked at Caleb who was currently giving Jack a look that could kill.
"What?" I asked quietly.
"Ex-Girlfriend," Caleb's attention turned to me, his expression panicked.
Before I could say anything else Caleb's father, who was sitting at the head of the table stood up and began speaking.
Sophie had now sat across from us, staring me down.
When Caleb said he had done sexual things with other girls, I couldn't help but wonder who they were, what they looked like. But, now that she sat in front of me, I wished I had never met Sophie, if one could say we'd even met at all.
"I'd like to introduce you all to your future Luna," Caleb's father finished, his hand motioned for Caleb and I to stand.
The crowd at the table roared with cheer as they clapped and whistled for us.
I couldn't stop how fast my heart was beating in my chest. It felt like my lungs were going to explode from the lack of air I was able to breathe in.
And the next thing I knew, everything went black.
