《The Courting》Chapter Ten

"Be safe," I said, hugging my grandmother goodbye.
"I will, don't worry about me," she said, patting my back before she pulled away. She bent down to grab her luggage and walked out the door to her cab.
I gave her one last goodbye before closing the door and locking it.
I had wanted to text Caleb to come over, but I realized I didn't have his number. I was hoping, however, that he had seen my grandmother leave.
I jogged up to my room and pulled out some pajamas to wear and decided to change in the bathroom, the only place I could seem to have some privacy these days.
Once back in my room I threw my dirty clothes in my hamper.
Then a knock on my window made me jump. I turned only to see a dark figure outside my window. I let out a small scream.
I walked over, seeing that it was Caleb, and opened the window for him.
"You scared the shit out of me," I said, holding my hand to my chest to calm down.
Caleb laughed.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to," he put his hands on my waist, and leaned down to give me a quick peck on the lips. Even that made me swoon.
Caleb was wearing gray sweatpants and a red hoodie, without a shirt underneath.
"You changed?" I asked, pulling at his sweatpants.
"Well I took my truck home and then shifted so I could run back here," he took a seat on my bed, "I didn't really think about my clothes, so these are some of my brother's that I had him run out to me."
"Your brother is Jack, right?" I asked, sitting down next to him.
Caleb took a strand of my hair and wrapped it around one of his fingers, "Yes, why?"
"Well, he's just been really weird to me around school. He stares at me all the time," I said.
"I asked him to keep an eye on you," Caleb shrugged. "Plus, once I told him you were my mate he became curious."
"Oh," I pulled my head away so he had to drop my hair, "so you told him before you told me?" I asked in mock offense.
"I didn't have to explain so much to him," he laughed, pulling me onto his lap.
I then realized how most of our time today was spent with me practically interrogating him.
"I'm sorry," I said nervously, "have I been asking too many questions?"
"No," he brushed my hair out of my face, "I actually really like that you want to know everything."
Caleb put his hand on the back of my neck, pulling me to him. Our lips connected, charging the current that flowed between us. Kissing him was like sticking a fork in an outlet. So quickly I became addicted to his touch.
I set my hands on Caleb's waist, pulling at his sweatshirt. I tugged it up and over his head, discarding of it.
He flipped us over so that he was now on top of me. My sleepwear consisted of an old t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I didn't wear a bra to sleep so I became nervous once Caleb began running his hand up my shirt.

"Are you okay?" He asked, breaking the kiss.
"I'm fine," I said, leaning up to kiss him again, but he pulled away.
"Your heart is beating like crazy," he said.
I laid my head back down onto the pillows and avoided eye contact as I expressed my concern.
"I'm just nervous, I guess," I put my arm over my eyes to hide myself.
Caleb pulled my arm away and caressed my cheek. "Have you never been touched?"
"I've been kissed...that's pretty much it," I hesitate before asking, "what about you?"
"I've done a few things."
This revelation brings a pain to my chest. I look away from Caleb, trying to hide the tears that prick my eyes, but he tilts my face to look at him again.
"I'm sorry," he said before kissing my cheek.
"I'm just overreacting," I said.
"We'll do everything at your pace. I won't touch you unless you ask," he said, resting his forehead against mine.
"I want you to touch me," I whispered.
Caleb kissed me gently, "I'll go slow."
He returned his lips to mine, keeping his hands where they were for the time being. If I was standing I'd be weak in the knees from his lips.
He moved his hand down to my thigh, pulling it up so I wrapped it around his waist. His lips trailed down to my neck, biting my earlobe on the way.
"You're so beautiful," he whispered, this released the butterflies in my stomach.
He moved his hand up my shirt, stopping with it flat on my stomach.
"Is this okay?" He asked.
I nodded, giving him permission to continue.
He moved his hand further upwards and cupped my breast, running his thumb over my nipple.
With him pressed against me I could feel how hard he was getting through his sweatpants. In an act of bravery I reached down and palmed him through his pants. He jumped in surprised, but then relaxed at my touch.
From touching him I could tell how large he was. He filled my hand easily with more to spare. This sparked my imagination, but mostly made me nervous.
I started to move my hand, rubbing him, this made him moan in my ear which only encouraged me.
Caleb moved his hand down and ran a finger along the top of my shorts. He teased me, running his finger along my stomach.
"Please," I begged in his ear.
He moved from my neck and returned his lips to mine, while simultaneously plunging his hand into my shorts. My heart was practically beating out of my chest as he ran a finger up, collecting the moisture there.
"Fuck," he breathed.
He began rubbing me at first. I instinctively spread my legs open wider for him, throwing my head back into the pillows at the feeling of his touch.
"Let me know if you want me to stop," he said, breathless.
I nodded then gasped as he pushed one of his fingers inside of me. It was a foreign feeling, and it stung a bit as he began moving in and out. It didn't feel as good as the rubbing.

As soon as that thought crossed my mind, he began again with his thumb while still using his finger.
He crashed his lips back onto mine swallowing my moans, as a pressure was beginning to build in my stomach.
I gripped onto his arm, digging my nails in.
With his mouth still working against mine, I arched my back as the pressure overflowed and then released, making me light headed.
Caleb continued slowly working his hand against me, letting me ride out my high, before pulling his hand out of my shorts.
"Was that okay?" He asked.
I avoided eye contact as I nodded, embarrassed from our intimate moment. Caleb smiled at my shyness.
"I'm going to run the bathroom, okay? I'll be right back," he said, before getting off the bed and walking out of my bedroom.
Finally being alone, I took a second to register everything that happened. I'd never been so intimate with someone before. I ran my hands through my hair, trying to catch my breath.
"How are you feeling?" Caleb asked, as he returned to my room.
"Fine," I said quietly, "I want to take a shower though."
"Do you want me to wait here?"
Finding a small bit of confidence I said, "Do you want to take one with me?"
Caleb smiled and moved sideways to make room for me to walk through the door, he swept his arm in front of him as to say 'lead the way'.
Once in the bathroom I was slow with my movements. I turned the shower on, waiting for the water to get hot. I grabbed a few towels out of the wardrobe that sat in the hallway.
Then, with my back turned to him, I pulled my shirt over my head. I could feel the heat radiating off of him as he stepped up behind me. One of his hands started at my shoulder then ran down the length of my arm.
"I can't express enough how beautiful you are," he whispered in my ear, making the hair stand up on the back of my neck.
He slipped his thumbs into the waistband of my shorts and pulled them down to my ankles. Without turning around I stepped into the shower, but Caleb wasn't far behind, stepping in shortly after.
My back was still to him as I let the water hit my face.
"Do I make you nervous?" He asked, setting his hands on my waist.
I let out a shaky breath before nodding my head to answer him.
I turned around and faced him, fully taking in the scene before me.
Caleb's body was tanned, his whole appearance, actually, was dark and mysterious. His black hair was plastered against his forehead from the water.
I grabbed the soap and put some of the liquid onto a rag.
I started running the rag along his chest, sudding up his broad shoulders. He was much taller than me. I moved the rag down and across his chest. The muscles there were hard. It seemed like he was made of steel the way he was built.
He kept his hands on my waist as I washed him.
"It's like you're Superman," I said, moving the rag down his strong arm.
I looked up to see his eyes were closed as I washed him. He had a smirk on his face from my comment.
While his eyes were closed I took the time to really take in his features. Like the mole that was placed on the side of his mouth. Or how his nose was slightly crooked, making me wonder if he'd broken it in the past.
"You're staring," he said, not opening his eyes.
"I'm just trying to figure out if you're real," I whispered, the running water drowning out my voice. But, of course, he heard me.
His eyes opened and he gently set a hand on my face rubbing his thumb across my cheek.
"I'll be here as long as you want me," he said, taking the soapy rag from me.
"It's not like I could send you away," I said as he began washing my arms, "we're made for each other, right?"
His smile faded, leaving him with a serious expression.
"You could reject me if you wanted to," he said, "it's different for humans. You're it for me, but you could always be happy with someone else."
His words pained me and I could tell that it hurt him to say them.
"I don't want anyone else," I said. I grabbed his hand, to stop his movements. "I'm serious, you're it for me too."
The fact that I was practically proclaiming my love for him after only knowing him for such a short time seemed crazy, but nothing had ever felt so right to me before.
Caleb reached behind me and turned off the water. Getting out of the shower, I handed him a towel, but as he reached for it I pulled it away.
"Are you sure you need this?" I asked, "I mean, can't you just shake yourself dry?"
"Good one," Caleb said before stealing the towel from me.
After drying myself off I put my old shorts and t-shirt on, making a mental note to buy sexier pajamas.
"Do you want to meet my family tomorrow?" Caleb asked, pulling me from my thoughts.
"If I don't go to school tomorrow my grandmother will kill me," I said, hanging up our towels and going back to my room.
"I'll take you after," he said, "you can stay for dinner."
"I don't know," I said, climbing into my bed. Caleb laid next to me and I was practically sweating from the heat he gave off. "What if they don't like me?"
"They'll love you," he said, pulling me close to him. I took this opportunity to move my cold feet between his legs.
"Can I think about it?" I asked, laying my head on his chest.
"Sure, but everyone is dying to meet you," he said.
"Mhm," was all I could manage as my eyes became heavy and I drifted off to sleep.
