Today is the 4th of July and I'm so happy! My mommy and daddy will be home from Chicago. GranGran was lonely here and tricked me into coming but I met the best thing ever! Today we will be doing a big ass get together at Dave's house.

Dave came downstairs smiling at me while I cleaned these greens.

"You so sexy. I swear I'm lucky as hell man."

"I'm luckier." I said puckering my lips, he wasted no time in kissing them.

"Who all coming on your side?"

"GranGran, my mama, my daddy, my aunt and uncle. You don't think we moving too fast?"

"Hush baby. No. Better now than when you walking down the aisle."

"Okok. Is your mom nice?"

He looked away. I instantly regretted agreeing to this.

"Baby stop I got your back." He said walking behind me hugging me.

"I put you a muffin and bacon in the microwave."

"Thanks princess I'm about to get these fireworks and then clean the backyard."

"Be careful!"

Dave went to do whatever it is he had to do. I proceeded to clean the greens and get the rest of the sides prepared. I took the chicken, ribs, turkey legs, hot dogs, smoke sausage, salmon, kabobs, and shrimp out cleaning them real good before seasoning them letting them sit to soak up the flavor. I'm weird I like the grill taste, but with no barbecue sauce.

I made smoked mac and cheese, greens, grilled corn, cole slaw, baked beans, potato salad, corn bread, banana pudding, pound cake, strawberry homemade cupcakes, and homemade fruit punch. I let the food sit on warm as the drinks chilled. I walked outside to let the meat start cooking, so when everyone get here it'll be fresh. I looked over to see Dave sweating put in that work blowing pool floats. I walked up to him pulling him down so I can kiss him.

"Meet me in the shower so we can save water big daddy."

He bit his lip smirking at me. I started running as he chased me. He finally caught me only because my little legs can't run fast up the stairs. He picked me up as I was still laughing.

"I got you phat."

"I know daddy. I wanna chill tonight, but knowing the crew they gone want to party."

"Well you putting in all this work if you want to rest then you will. They can go to Bully house or something."

"But—"

"Naw Sophia end of discussion. You been feeling under the weather. Even a week later, and you still throwing up certain foods. You been working yourself to death. Relax with me tonight and tomorrow."

"Fine, but after that I'm doing doubles."

He didn't say nothing he just walked us into the bathroom sitting me on the counter. He cut the water on to the right temperature which is H O T AS H E L L! We had about 3 hours until 4 and I just wanted to relax my tense muscles. Dave took my clothes off and took his off before picking me up placing us in the shower. He had lit some of my favorite candles and added aroma bombs to the shower I was in pure HEAVEN. I sat down on the shower floor letting the water hit me everywhere. Dave chuckled before sitting behind me. I leaned back into him enjoying all the steam and heat. Next thing I know I am fast asleep.

"Wake up phat." I felt Dave shaking me.

I woke up in the bed naked.

"I washed you up and laid you in the bed so you can get your rest. I kept an eye on the food and everything."

"Thank you daddy."

I got up moisturizing my body and doing my makeup. I got dressed and went to check on the food.

I set up the snack table along with the food table too. The doorbell rung and the party started.

"It smells so good in here lil sis!" Bully said bringing in bottles of liquor hugging me.

"Thank you so much big bro." I said showing him where to sit the bottles.

Next came in Marissa she act like we don't work together and she was being dramatic! All over me. Yae came in with weed as if Dave, Shooter, and Bully don't provide enough.

"Hey pooh!" Jalissa said kissing me on my cheek. Shooter came and hugged me while holding their babygirl. She looked no older than 3 months. I fell in love instantly.

"Hey y'all who is this cutie?"

"This is Bianca, but we call her B."

I quickly grabber her and she just smiled at me. I told them I got her as they went to the backyard.

"Damn mamas you just stole my niece from them like that."

"Yes she so pretty!"

Dave grabbed her from me and I would've put up a fight, but the doorbell rung. I went to answer it and went crazy!

"Hey GranGran!"

"Hey baby." She walked past me like she owned the damn place talking loud as hell talking about the party's here.

"Popsssss!" I said jumping on him.

"Hey daddy's baby, I missed you so much." He said holding me.

"Hi mommy." I said laying on her chest. I got so emotional to the point I started crying. I don't see them much due to my father's busy ass drug business. He keeps my mother and I away from it, so it's almost like living a double life.

"Get your emotional ass off me and introduce me to this boy you been so crazy about."

I walked in and saw Dave on the couch feeding the baby.

"Mama and Daddy this is Dave-"

"Dave motherfucking East..."

"Daddy how you know him?"

"He's an excellent businessman in all areas from streets to professional."

"Mmmm who baby that is? You got kids son?" My mama asked.

"No ma'am this is my niece."

"Well I am Cookie Issacs married to this knucklehead Lucious Lyon Issacs."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Issacs."

"Boy I'm mama!"

Dave laughed. "Okay mama."

"Just don't hurt my baby like the last one, because then I'll have to show you why I am the Mama Lyon. I don't play son!"

"I would never hurt her mama. I been looking for my lifetime partner and I can really see it in her."

"I like the sound of that. Well we about to go in the back with the others." As soon as she said that the doorbell rung again. Dave got up and his family came in.

"Why it smell so good in here? I know you ain't cook shit."

"Mama don't start that. I told you I got a lul friend."

"I want to meet her and give me damn baby."

"Wassup pops. Hey Grandma come in."

Everyone walked in.

"Milan this is my goofy ass family." His grandma smacked the back of his head.

"Language! Hey baby it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Grandma Brewster, this is my son Oshea Brewster and his wife Lisa Brewster."

"It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm Milan Issacs. These are my parents Cookie and Lucious Issacs." Gran walked in just in time, but before I could introduce them Gran spoke.

"Hey Bitch!"

"Missy don't start with me!"

"Lou Ann Brewster you look fine girl."

"I do don't I?"

We later found out they went way back and was Bestfriends in Highschool here in New York. They had pictures of our fathers playing together and everything back at their houses in the photo albums.

"You know I had a dream about Fish." His grandma said while we were outside eating. Everyone was in the pool except me, our mamas, and grandmothers.

"You know what I did too!" Everyone else said agreeing looking at me..

"It can't be me...." As if on cue I was up running to the bathroom. Being my emotional ass I started crying because I threw up my ribs I just ate. I felt someone rubbing my back and I looked to see my mama while the others were at the door with a "you got some to tell me" face.

I started thinking until realization hit me. I haven't gotten my period and I stopped taking my pills because I wasn't active.

"Mommyyy! How could I be so irresponsible. I'm not even married yet." She hugged me and reassured me everything would be okay.

"Baby it takes two to tango. Dave been wanting a family since forever. I know he won't leave you hanging." His mama said.

"Take a test before getting yourself all worked up. Now let's go party and act like nothing happened." My granny said as they nodded in agreement.

We headed back out and joked around. I mostly ate until the sun went down. Then we sat outside and watch the fireworks pop. GranGran and Grandma Brewster was lighting the damn fireworks up more than the young people. I'm just glad everything went smooth.

"Why it look like something bothering you?" I felt Dave presence behind me.

"It's not I'm okay. Just glad everything going smooth."

"Smooth enough to take this shit to the next level?"

"No not yet I still want to move slow."

Once I said that it's like I felt the energy change. This is going to be a long ass night.
