Artemis couldn't help pulling away from Navene with a light chuckle sob. The tears still staining her cheeks as she turns to a wide eyed Caspian. She nods her head shyly as a smile began spreading across his lips. Caspian quickly pulls her against him causing her to release Navene in the process. The young boy looking to her with a slight smirk before turning back to the watery eyes of his best friend. He walks to her hugging her gently as she grips him fiercely on his back still shaking but what all just occurred.

"Ho-How do you know?"

Caspian stutters trying to formulate a sentence as he cups her cheeks. Her eyes glossy but the smile on her lips showing how happy she is. Her hand resting on her stomach makes him place his upon hers.

Just a feeling my prince

Caspian can't help but crash his lips to hers releasing all his emotions into the passionate touch. Not caring that his family stands there, not stopping to worry about what just occurred. His lips moved fervently against hers. His emotions overwhelming him to devour her. Artemis finding it hard to keep up with him and gasps only for his tongue to dive in and explore.

The king couldn't help but chuckle while covering his wife's eyes. Analee huffs at her husband's antics. It wasn't like they haven't seen these two kiss before. She swats at his hand making him pull it back while acting hurt by her. She slowly steps down from the their thrones while clearing her throat making Caspian pull back revealing a blushing Artemis. The queen walking directly to her embracing her with lil Mira between them.

Casden follows his wife down hugging his son tightly before turning to his daughter in law. Artemis is released by one, only to be embraced by another. The king's form taller than her makes her raise her chin up. He continues holding her for a moment before a cry pulls them apart. They all turn to the queen who bounces Princess Mira in her arms but she continues crying for a moment. Goliath whimpering at her feet.

"She needs to be fed. Please excuse me."

The queen says turning to head out of the room. The king gives one last wink to the kids before following her out. Princess Cass runs and jumps on her brother before walking over to Artemis and placing her hands on the protruding stomach and whispering to it. Artemis couldn't hear her but smiled when she kissed it as if the child was already here.

Cassandra steps back to allow Navene to walk up. He smirks at Artemis before turning his eyes to Caspian. The prince raises a brow at the young lad as he steps forward with his hand outstretched. He looks to it before glancing at Artemis who nods towards it, encouraging him. Navene grips his hand firmly.

"Just remember...I know how to kill."

"NAVENE!"

Artemis scolds shocked by his bluntness but Caspian couldn't help but laugh. Not due to the lad's statement but by his wife's expression. Never has he seen her so wide eyed before. Navene narrows his eyes at his laughing form. That is until he follows Caspian's eye sight to Artemis who is standing there with a slacked jaw looking completely baffled. He begins laughing as well along with Cassandra.

The silver beauty quickly shuts her mouth and narrows her eyes on each of them. She turns on her heal stomping out of the great hall making Caspian compose himself to chase after her. The two young lads and Tesara left in the great hall. After their laughs subside, the memories of what just occurred wash over Navene making his shoulder's slack. The princess quickly notices the change and decides to get his mind off of it.

"Come Navene, try to catch me!"

She takes off out of the hall with Tesara following. Navene shakes his head clearing it of previous thoughts as he chases after her. Her giggles filling the hallways as her black locks dance in the wind. His heart feeling lighter than moments ago. While they chase to the gardens, Artemis is huffing as she makes her way upstairs. She makes it to the hallway before she is pulled into the comforting embrace of her husband. Her muscles instantly relaxing to the familiar form and scent that envelops her. He holds her tightly as he strokes her hair lovingly.

I am sorry love, it was only your expression that made me laugh

She smacked his chest lightly while cuddling into him. Her nose rubbing gently in his shirt as his hand rubs her silver threads down her back. The moment complete serene. That is until a sharp pain rips through Artemis. Her body instantly doubling over as she holds her stomach. Caspian instinctively holding her as she hisses out. His pulse racing trying to formulate what is occurring but it doesn't take long. His boot becoming soaked he furrows his eye brows until his silver beauty once again groans. The sound catching the attention of the maids in the hallway.

"Your majesty, her water has broke. She is going into labor."

He is quick to pick her up as she continues holding her stomach and attempting to regulate her breathing. The maid rushing to the king and queen's chambers. Mira had just laid down in her bassenet when frantic knocking was heard at the door. The queen looking to her husband who looks equally confused but still goes to answer the door.

"My apologies sire, Princess Artemis has went into labor. We need-"

The queen is up and out of the room before she could finish her sentence. The king glances to baby Mira and sees Goliath laying at the legs of her bed. He walks over brushing his coat. The wolf looking directly into his eyes.

"Do not let anyone near her til we return."

Goliath nods once making the king give a soft smile before standing back up and exiting the room, pulling the doors shut behind him. He takes off to Caspian's and Artemis' chambers. His wife already having arrived to help. It was decided that they could not trust another to be near the royal family during these times so for the last few weeks. Even before Mira was born, Analee was learning how to be a midwife. She felt ready to bring her granddaughter into the world.

Caspian had his back against their headboard with his legs on each side of his wife. Both his hands within the death grip of Artemis. The silver goddess sweating profusely while trying to breath some what normally. It is not happening. The pain that is coursing through her takes the cake for any previously she may have been through. Soft whimpers making her look to the side of the bed where Vatalanie had her eyes locked on her.

It- It is normal my friend

Artemis attempts to tell her but her mind not focused. Vatalanie bows her head in understanding as another contraction rakes her form. Artemis continues breathing in the mouth as deep as possible before releasing it out her mouth. The queen is between her legs looking down to see. The king continues standing by the door not sure what to do.

Navene eventually was told by one of the maids who then rushed off to his guardian. Cassandra now on his heels as they come into the room. Artemis looks exhausted making him feel his chest tighten. The king stops them from going in but one glare from the blonde hair lad tells him otherwise. Casden only smirks as the man walks to the opposite side of the bed. His little princess hugs his waist making him wrap his arms around him.

Artemis relaxes hearing the gentle humming of Navene. His hand gently brushing over her stomach. The child seems to relax slightly allowing Artemis a brief moment of relief. Caspian continues to kiss her head while whispering words of encouragement. It does not take long before the queen begins to see a head.

"Okay sweetie, he's coming now PUSH!"

Listening to her queen, she does so. Caspian feels his fingers are about to break but doesn't say anything. He knows this pain is nothing compared to what his love must be going through. If this is releasing any pain she is going through, he will take it... no words being voiced.

After only a few hours, the queen lies a very long boy within Artemis' arms. The boy was not to be due for a few more weeks but he seems perfectly fine. She looks him over and notices instantly a feature she wasn't expecting. His hair which they originally thought was black like Caspian's... was not. Among his head laid short silver threads. Caspian gazed upon it with a gentle smile as his fingers brushed his head. Artemis has collapsed against him so he is now holding the two most significant things in his life.

The king walks over with a sleeping Mira in his arms. Cassandra was on the floor rubbing Vatalanie. Casden walks over sitting on the edge of the bed next to his wife. Artemis has since been cleaned, and tucked in. Navene already sitting on the opposite side gazing upon the newborn fondly.

"What is the boy to be named Artemis?"

Navene asked with his eyes still locked on the silver headed boy. Artemis eyes looking over every feature of the baby while her finger grazed the baby's cheek. Caspian's soft lips pressed to the side of her neck while his arms wrapped around her and the boy. She turns to him and watches him nod giving her permission to tell. They have chosen a few names for each sex just in case. The boy name being one they agreed upon.

"His name is Liam"

Navene smiles while requesting to hold the lil lad. Artemis nods handing him over making Navene continue smiling down at the young boy. Artemis winces laying back while Caspian begins to massage her scalp by running his fingers through her hair. His soft lips kissing the side of her neck willing her to relax and her eyes to feel heavy from exhaustion.

Navene turns his eyes away from the boy to look to his guardian. He then sees that she has fallen asleep securely against Prince Caspian. Turning his attention back to the boy, he whispers the words that make all those with in the room smile.

"Liam means savior, your mother has faith you are to become one... As do I."
