"You are here today due to your treason against the king."

The King sit perched in his throne, his queen sitting next to him with their hands intertwined. Caspian has chosen to stand with his arm securely wrapped around Artemis' waist. Princess Cassandra sitting next to her mother with Navene at her side. The wolves also in the great hall. Tesara by her companion Navene. Goliath protectively in front of the queen with Vatalanie next to the king. The king is surprised by the change but rubs her back regardless.

In the room, the guards stand at attention lining the walls. In the center with two guards standing next to her kneels Princess Lena. Her whole form shaking in fear while she attempts to not cry or scream. She glances at the woman who caused her demise. Her eyes narrowing as she feels her rage boiling.

Artemis can feel her change in emotion but continues standing strong. Caspian's finger rubbing soothing circles onto her hip bone. She watches as the princess narrows in on his hand that's placed on her. Lena drops her gaze back to the ground.

"Do you have anything to say?"

Lena's eyes snap up at the venom voice of the king. She sees his eyes are a blazed. She scoffs knowing anything she said won't matter at this point. They have condemned her before she even stepped in the room. She slowly stands up off her knees looking directly at the king.

"You are guilty of leading my father to his death." The king raises his head as if challenging her. She turns her eyes to Artemis. "I should have killed you when I had the chance."

Caspian instinctively steps forward but Artemis holds him back. She calms him down before looking to the king whose eyes are glued on the princess in chains. His body rigid with rage. The queen stands up walking graciously down the few steps to stand in front of the princess. Her eyes leveled when she speaks to her.

"You, Princess Lena, are hereby sentence to death."

Lena struggles in her chains lunging for the queen. The guards yank her back while the queen remains unaffected. They press her shoulders to make her kneel before the queen. Lena whips her head up with utter disgust towards her.

"I never liked you Queen Analee." She spits on the queens feet. The king stands up but the queen raises his hand stopping him from advancing. She slowly leans forward looking directly at the enraged princess.

"The feeling is mutual."

The queen strolls back up the steps as Lena thrashes in her chains screaming in anger. She turns to Artemis. Artemis slowly walks down the few steps as Caspian attempts to stay where he is at. Every muscle protesting, ready to pounce.

"You are a filthy witch that has casted some kind of spell on them! It won't last... they will soon realize you can't be trusted. You will be hung for your crimes!"

Artemis stands directly in front of her as she continues to yank against the chains. Artemis poised and strong looking down to her in pity. She does not believe a word coming from her. The royal family has been nothing but kind and open to her since her arrival. She glances back and lets her eyes travel over each of them seeing nothing but love. She turns back to the kneeling princess. Leaning close to her face, her words are quiet enough no one other than Lena will hear.

"I pray you find peace before loosing your head."

Lena stops struggling eyes going wide. Artemis straightens herself back up walking back to her spot next to the prince. He wraps her again as the king stands next to his beloved holding her protectively.

"Guards, take her."

Lena now yells and struggles within the grasp of the two guards who pull her away. She fights against them every step of the way until the door finally closes in the great hall. The king pulls his queen into a much needed hug while Caspian does the same with Artemis. Her long hair straight down her back.

"Mom-Dad, Can we go eat?"

Cassandra's chipper voice making everyone laugh. She has a one track mind thankfully. The king nods as Cassandra grips at Navene's arm once again dragging him from the room. Navene pouts back at Artemis who can't help but smile amused at the young princess. Tesara jogging by their side.

"Guards give us the room and I want at least four in the dining hall with Cassandra and Navene."

Just like that, they all clear out leaving only the four remaining. The queen leaves the safety of her husband to hug Artemis. Artemis smiles at her when they pull apart.

"Now Artemis, I don't know how comfortable you will be sharing all the details but can you tell me what I need to know."

Artemis nods to the the king as Caspian wraps both arms around her waist from behind. His head lying on her shoulder.

"I was able to locate Goliath."

"How Artemis? You didn't take a horse or chariot with you. How could you have found them so fast? My men were still searching."

"I could feel him sir. I have the bond with my entire pack." The king nods his head letting her continue. "I traveled by foot letting the feeling guide me. They were smart and took a narrow pathway, not the main road knowing your guards would be patrolling."

"You ran? All that way?!?" Caspian speaks incredulously while Artemis just nods dropping her head.

"When I found them. The queen and Goliath were.." Artemis struggles not sure how the king will react. She looks to the queen who nods solemnly. "They were locked in a cage."

Caspian goes stiff and looks to his father who looks ready to explode. The queen strokes his arm thoughtfully while Artemis continues.

"He had four guards which myself and the wolves were able to eliminate. King Maximus and Princess Lena were in a tent to the side."

The king gives one firm head nod as he attempts to control his temper. "How did King Maximus die?"

"Goliath sir." All heads turn to the wolf himself. Goliath just licks his lips not caring. "Rules of the pack are simple. If you harm a protected person of the pact, the wolf in charge of protected gets to deal the punishment."

"Goliath chose death?" The king ask still looking down at the wolf next to his wife.

"Goliath chose to protect his master at all cost." The queen runs her hand over his head silently praising him.

"Is there anything else I need to know."

Artemis glances at the queen who shakes her head negatively. She looks to the king who now looks at her directly.

"I have also learned of a new... ability." Her timid voice shaky not sure whether to tell them.

"MOM! DAD!"

Cassandra's voice bouncing off the walls make the four realize they have kept them waiting. The king turns back to Artemis. "To be continued."

Artemis nods her head while the king takes his wife by the arm walking out with her. Caspian then slides to Artemis' side still holding onto her before leaning to kiss her temple. She closes her eyes in bliss sighing. His lips making her body warm up.

"Artemis, my love, may I ask what ability?"

Artemis turns to look into Caspian's beautiful emerald eyes. His eyes searching hers for the answer. Artemis cups his cheek running her thumb over his cheek.

"I have found an outlet for my anger. I can produce heat from my hands."

Caspian still looks baffled so she continues but she just shakes her head not wanting to continue. Thankfully, the prince takes the hint and just kisses her lips. A soft moan escapes her lips making Caspian press harder against her soft lips. Their minds no longer on breakfast as they devour each other. Caspian's hands gripping her waist and neck. His thumb brushing the underside of her breast making Artemis gasp.

Artemis is lost to the sensation. Letting the feeling course from her head down to her toes. The room echoing of their mutual passion. Caspian grunts reluctantly pulling away. Her rapturous chest rapidly moving as she attempts to breathe. Her eyes much darker and lips a nice stain red. Caspian closes his eyes attempting to remove the picture that is currently etched on his mind. It does nothing when he opens his eyes and sees her still look like the siren she is.

"Caspian"

Her whimpered voice making him step forward crashing his lips to hers again. Their movements aggressive and passionate. Artemis hands wondering into his dark locks gripping at them for stability. Caspian's lips diving to her neck to suck at her delectable skin. Her scent intoxicating him.

"I do believe I asked you two to wait."

The young lovers spring apart at the queen's calm voice. Caspian looks to his mother who is looking directly at him. He turns to see Artemis blushing profusely before she scurries out of the great hall. She passes the queen attempting to not look at her while the queen walks to her son at a steady pace. Caspian's hair disheveled and his breathing labored. The queen stops in front of him while Caspian resembles a fawn being caught.

"My son, you need to control yourself."

"Mom, I- I can't." Caspian says dropping his head to the floor. He can't help that when they are alone, the desire to claim her becomes overbearing. "She..."

"She certainly is son." The queen lifts his chin making the red cheek boy look to her. She smiles amused by him. "That only leaves one choice."

Caspian looks to his mother with a raised eyebrow. She doesn't say anything further but leads him to the dining hall. They arrive to see that Artemis is sitting next to Navene. The princess sitting opposite of Navene and the seat adjacent to Artemis is empty. Her eyes glued to the plate in front of her. Caspian want to smirk at her shyness but resisted the urge and sits down. The king raising a questionable eyebrow at his son. Caspian refusing to look anywhere but at his plate or the blushing beauty before him.

"May I ask what took you so long to join Caspian?"

The king's voice holding amusement while Caspian chokes on his food. He just shakes his head negatively. The queen smirks at her husband who can't help but grin at the two red faced young adults. The king looks to his wife winking at her. Young love...
