《[First Draft] Crystals (girlxgirl) (studentxteacher) (lesbian story)》Chapter Twenty-nine

Laura ordered me to leave but I refused to go. It was like a repeat of yesterday, only this time I had a real reason to stay; not that I just couldn't be bothered.
The night before her headache had taken a turn for the worse and she'd gone to bed, trying to tell me that she would be fine and that I should just go home. I didn't, of course, and it was a good thing I hadn't.
I'd gone to get her some painkillers and when I returned, with the pills and a glass of water, she was asleep. Or that's what I had thought anyway.
She'd looked so peaceful, lying beneath the dark blue sheets, her hair spilling across the pillow, that I hadn't wanted to wake her. Instead I sat back and surveyed her room.
I hadn't looked at it properly before; having always been too distracted.
It was a decent size, not too small but not massive either, with a queen bed against the wall furthest from the door. It was in this bed she now lay.
On one side of the bed was a small table made of pale wood which looked almost cream in colour. It had a darker grain running through, showing that it was real, not some synthetic made in a factory. On top of the table was a blue lamp, painted in the exact shade of her duvet.
There was a desk under the window where Laura did her marking. Even though she'd only been at work for half a day the surface was littered with papers and half a dozen pens. I'd never realised how much work teachers actually did. I thought they came to school, taught, then went home again, and did nothing else. Apparently that was not the case.
Her wardrobe was set into the wall opposite her bed. The doors were made of silver lined glass and slid open to show the space behind, which was huge. I hadn't though she was much of a girly girl before yesterday; which was when I first saw what she owned; but now I can definitely say she is!
There were more dresses in there than I'd seen in some stores! And the amount of make up she had blew my mind.
I'd gotten up and wondered around the room, then, getting bored, went off to explore the house.
When I'd grown tired of that too I went back to the bedroom to check on Laura.
She'd been lying exactly as I'd left her and I had found that odd. When we'd slept together in the hospital she had rolled over often, nearly shoving me out the bed a couple of times, so it was strange that she hadn't moved at all now.
It had crossed my mind that she might have been in pain the night before but if that were true surely she'd still be hurting now. Injuries didn't heal that fast.
I had tried to wake her... and then tried again, and again.
"Oh god," I'd started to panic and had no idea what to do. The nurse hadn't told us what to do if she died!

Then, because I started to worry, I had to check and make sure she wasn't actually dead. I wasn't quite sure how to do that but figured she'd have a heart beat and pressed my hand against her left boob.
Her heart had still been thumping away, thank God.
I'd been unsure of what to do next. Should I phone an ambulance? Just take her to the hospital in my dads car? Leave her to wake up?
I'd decided I needed another opinion and phoned Sheridan.
"Hello?"
"You need to tell me what to do! Should I take her to hospital or just leave her or-"
"Calm down L! What are you talking about?"
"Laura!" I'd shouted, thinking it was obvious.
"What's wrong with her?"
"She won't wake up."
"Wake up? Why not?"
"I don't know! She got hit by a car yes-"
"Hit by a car?"
"It was an accident, she was okay, but now I think she's passed out or something, she had a headache last night."
"And how do you know that?" She asked, her tone teasing.
"Don't, not now."
"You're right, sorry."
"So what should I do?"
"Take her to hospital."
"Are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure, I just told you that didn't I? They'll know what's wrong."
"Okay, thanks Sheridan, you're the best!" I'd blurted, hanging up and probably cutting myself off as I ran back to the bedroom.
I'd kissed Laura's head lightly before pulling her from the bed.
Getting her to the car had turned out to be much harder than I'd expected but I had managed, staggering often under the dead weight and falling over twice.
Now I sat gazing at my girlfriends gorgeous face and silently thanked God for sparing her any serious injuries.
I'd been informed that the fainting was not due to the accident yesterday but down to the fact she hadn't eaten since breakfast the day before.
She'd told me she didn't even notice; she hadn't felt hungry at all; but I wasn't sure I believed her. How could you not notice you were hungry?
As I thought about it harder I realised I was just worrying too much. What reason could Laura possibly have starving herself? It was ludicrous. If I wasn't careful I'd turn into my mother.
She didn't notice she was hungry...
"Laura," I started and she groaned, "what?" I questioned, insulted.
"That tone doesn't sound good; it sounds like you want something."
"Well I do," she groaned again, "I only want to ask you a question, is that okay with you!?" Even I heard how defensive my tone was and understood her raised eyebrows. "Sorry."
"It's okay babe, but there's no time for questions. You really need to go to your lectures."
"What if I do and something happens to you?"
"Nothing is going to! I'm in hospital Lilly, I'll be perfectly fine."
"But what if you're not," I said with a yawn.
"I will be!"

"I'm going to stay and make sure."
"No!" Laura said sternly, "you have got to go to school," I shook my head and she sighed. "This is ridiculous Lilly, I'm a grown adult I don't need you baby-sitting me all the time."
I pulled away from her; upset by her harsh words. She noticed and tried to take my hand but I pulled it from her grasp.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap but your education is really important."
"So are you," I said, staring down at the floor. She didn't reply for a long time and I eventually gave in and looked up at her.
She was staring at me with the biggest and happiest grin I've ever seen in my life.
"What is it?" I asked, confused at her quick mood change.
"That's the sweetest thing you've ever said to me," she replied, staring deep into my eyes with an intensity that made my heart flutter.
She pulled me across to her and pressed her lips tight against mine. We both sighed and I took the opportunity to be bold... To do something I'd never done before, with anyone.
I cradled her face in my hands and, feeling a bit ridiculous, licked her bottom lip. It was about as sexy as it sounds. It was, in other words, a total fail.
I pulled away, disappointed in myself and my lack of ability. I was hopeless when it came to this sort of thing.
"Babe?" Laura asked carefully, "what is it?"
"I'm - I hate that I can't do anything! I want to do things and... I can't."
"What do you mean?"
"Just there... Kind of failed right?"
"No."
"Yeah it did, don't lie."
"Okay, so maybe it did, but you just need to practise."
I sighed, "you must get so annoyed by me."
"I don't," she said comfortingly, pulling me closer, "it's cute."
"I don't want to be cute!" I spat, irritated but not moving away from her.
"I like it," she whispered into my ear, her breath tickling me.
"But I don't," I argued weakly as she peppered my face with kisses.
"Mm," she murmured and I knew she wasn't listening to me anymore; and I couldn't care less.
She kissed me. It was gentle at first but quickly grew more passionate. Her fingers tangled in my hair, pulling me closer so I pressed tightly against her.
I gasped as she gently sucked my bottom lip into her mouth and she slipped her tongue into my mouth.
I'd only French kissed once before so this was relatively new to me.
It was weird. Her tongue tasted amazing but it felt strange in my mouth. It was slippery and it moved funny too, kind of like a fish.
Despite this I decided I liked it. It made me feel closer to her and felt a lot more intimate now something more than just our lips were touching.
It made me tingle, and feel strangely warm inside. It also made me want her desperately but I wouldn't let anything happen yet. I'd read many books about relationships and knew our first time was special and couldn't just be in a hospital bed.
Laura was the one who pulled away, and when she did I began gasping for air. I smiled at her between pants and she rolled her eyes.
"You did that to distract me," she said, trying to pretend she was mad at me even though I knew she wasn't serious.
"If I remember rightly you started it," I pointed out and she smirked.
"Yeah I guess I did."
"You don't seem very angry with yourself, after all you're keeping me from my education."
"Doesn't matter."
"Oh, so it doesn't matter now? But it did two minutes before you were shoving your tongue down my throat."
"Yep," she said reaching over to kiss me again.
"Amazing teacher you are."
"You seemed to think so," she said with wink, letting me know that the extra attention I'd paid her hadn't gone unnoticed.
"You're a pain in the arse." I said, feeling blood rush to my cheeks.
"I know," she smiled sweetly, "but I'm ill so you can't be mean to me."
"Whatever," I grinned to let her know I wasn't serious and she patted the bed beside her.
"Come here."
"What?"
"Come here," she repeated, "I'm lonely."
"I'm sitting about two feet away, how can you be lonely?"
"Well I'm cold then."
"You just want me in your bed, don't you?" I said, not realising at first how that came across.
"Only if you want to be there." Her tone was low and sexy and I turned into a living tomato.
"I didn't mean it like that," I whined, pushing her away from me, but only lightly.
"We both know you did," she said, in the same tone.
"Stop messing around."
"Why?" She asked her voice still not back to normal, "is it getting you excited?"
I looked away and didn't answer.
"It is, isn't it!?" She squealed, finally dropping the act.
"Maybe... Just a little bit."
She didn't say anything, and when I finally got up the guts to look at her, she was just staring at me, a huge grin on her face.
"Why did you do that?" I asked, still slightly mortified.
"Consider it payback for yesterday."
"Oh... yeah," I smiled at the memory, "I like it when you get embarrassed."
"Yeah, well I don't," she groused.
"You're adorable when you blush."
"Says you! Miss Queen of Blushing."
"I get embarrassed easily."
"I know," Laura said, kissing my hand. It sparked something inside me and I suddenly needed to feel her lips on mine.
I scrambled up onto the bed beside her and she complained that I was sitting on her hair so I shut her up by kissing her.
"You're still sitting on my hair," she mumbled against my lips and I giggled and pulled away.
"Sorry."
"What are you doing?" She asked, looking up at me with puppy dog eyes, "get back to kissing me."
