"You have a visitor", he said with a deep breath.

"What? Who?" Caspian and I say at the same time. He turns and winks at me and I roll my eyes in response.

"It's your father and sister" Silas replies.

I quickly got dressed and rushed out of the room with Caspian and Silas right behind me. I was about to turn the corner into the great hall where they were waiting, when someone pulled me back.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Caspian asked with concerned eyes.

"We could go in with you if you want", Silas added putting an arm on my shoulder.

"What am I, fine china? I'll be fine, both of you need to stop." I replied as I shrugged both of them off and enter the great hall.

"Ah, Aloia", my 'father' said standing up to greet me with my sister following close behind. "I have missed you so dearly. Why haven't you called us to the castle earlier?"

I rolled my eyes at his comment. My ass, he missed me. I only regret not calling Ali to the castle earlier. True she was annoying, but no one should have to deal with my father alone.

"I missed you Ali" I replied stepping around my father to give her a hug. I see him scowl and I smirk back.

"Hey sis", she responds and hugs me back.

"Ah, Prince Silas", my 'father said with a deep bow, "It's an honor to meet you". I knew that was the only reason he came to see me.

"You as well sir", he responded through gritted teeth.

"Aloia, shall we go for a walk around the courtyard? We have much to talk about." My father said turning to me with a smirk.

"Of course,", I respond. He tried to hook my hand under his, but I pull my hand away. Caspian, Ali, and Silas try to hold in their laugher and 'my father' sends each of them a scowl except the Prince.

"Shall I join you?" Ali said picking up her dress and coming towards us.

"No need for your useless self to be there. You can stay here with the gentlemen." My father replied calmly.

I wanted to tell him off as I saw my sister grow back in shame but then I realized, it was better if there were no witness to the murder I wanted to commit.

I was alone with my father walking through the enormous royal garden. I knew Caspian, Silas, and Ali were all watching us, and they didn't even try to make it seem like they weren't.

Silas requested to drink outside tea with Caspian and Ali as an excuse to spy. But he forgot that the tea he was drinking was hot when he was watching me. So, when he brought it to his mouth, it burned his tongue, leading him to drop the cup of hot tea of Caspian's lap. This led to strings of profanities from both their mouths and helpless Ali who didn't know what to do.

I turned back to my father after watching the whole scene play out and making a mental note to tease them about it later.

"I see you have made yourself... comfortable here in the palace", my father, Balor said with a judgmental voice. "So how did you do it? How did you convince the prince that you were mates?"

I let out a dry laugh. "You know, you should be begging on your feet for money or some kind of support from me. But you come here and question my position." I reply looking him dead in the eyes, letting him know I was not afraid of him.

"The Pinkerton boy went missing as well", my father said as he started to walk towards the garden's fountains. "Do you believe that I am dumb enough to believe that an uncultured girl like you would become the prince's mate? I know you killed the boy Ali was supposed to marry as well."

"Do you have any idea what you are accusing me off?" I asked him. "You dare to accuse the Prince's mate of such treason; I could have you beheaded."

"Try to do so, and where would your sister go? To the whore house I presume. Without my support you are nothing." He said spitting in my face.

I slowly turned to face him as I straightened my back. "Oh father, how wrong you are. I used to be nothing without your support. However, my position now leads me to believe I have everything without your help. I could ruin your whole life. I could do that with the snap of my fingers, and your social standing would be gone. Rather you would need to beg just to get by." I said stepping closer to him. I saw his face slowly pale as he realized he had nothing over me. "Be careful not to forget your place in life as you are lower than scum now." I spit in his face.

"I would kill you, but death is too easy of an option. You will live your miserable life away from Ali and I as we will be comfortably living in a palace. And don't think I don't know about your job. You lost it a while ago and as a result you wanted to sell Ali to the Pinkerton's boy for money. You have been burning through savings and you coming to me was your last chance. Trying to threaten me for money" I let out a dry scoff.

"Have fun living in your misery for the rest of your pathetic excuse for a life." I told him calmly walking away from him.

I looked up at the castle and saw Ares watching me from the window above the garden. He gave me a smirk and closed him curtains. I needed to be more careful I told myself, Ares was watching my every move and I needed to do the same.

I felt terrible for abusing my fake position with Silas, but this needed to be done. He no longer has any power over me, and I needed to show him that. And if I left Ali with him, he would have sold her to the next man he could find for a good price.

"So, what happened?" Silas asked following behind me with Caspian and Ali.

"Do you have room for one more in this big castle of yours?" I said coming to a stop and turning to face them.

"Yes..." he replied confused.

"Perfect", I said and turned to Ali "Welcome to your new home."

"What?!", they all said at the same time.

"Listen Ali, Balor was going to sell you to a whore house for the money. He was broke and could barely support himself. Silas, you have the room and you pulled me into this mess. Caspian this has absolutely and utter nothing to do with you." I said as I turned back around and left for training. I was done with all this drama that came into my life when Silas decided to use me as a scapegoat. I was tired and needed to get my frustration out of my system,

"Ali, find your where you're staying from Silas. I am going to train." I said as I walked away from them.

I finally got geared up in leggings, a holster, and a white blouse. I was about to get everything out of my system in the training circle when I saw Caspian start running down the hall as he pulled me by the hand.

"We have to go know. There is an emergency with Weylin, and we have to go there now." Caspian said pulling my hand.

"What?! What happened? Are we going to the South?" I asked as he pulled me along.

"I'll let you know when we are there. Don't worry you will see everything soon. But we have to go now." He said as he was running and intertwined my hand with his. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach, but I knew this wasn't the right time.

"What about Silas?" I asked as he pulled me away from the castle.

I saw a bit of pain go through his face, but then it was gone. "Don't worry about him right now."

After running for at least 30 minutes, Caspian came to a sudden stop.

"What happened? Are we there?" I asked out of breath.

"Yes, now put this on", he said handing me a blindfold.

"Caspian, this isn't funny. Weylin's life could be at stake right now." I replied giving him back the blindfold.

"I said put it on, you can't see where we are going. This is top secret." He replied with a serious face.

"What are you getting at? Caspian I am tired, it's dark out and I am not up for jokes." I told sighed.

"Aloia, Weylin life is at stake right now. Could you just listen for once?" He replied tying a blindfold over my eyes.

"Alright, fine." I replied.

Caspian tied the blindfold over my eyes and grabbed my hand as he started to lead me ahead slowly. I stumble over a twig, but Caspian grabs my waist to steady me, and I melt at his touch.

After a while I hear Caspian say, "Alright we are here" as he takes off my blindfold.

I open my eyes and see a blanket with pillows on the ground with a picnic basket in the middle. In front is a lake and a perfect view of the moon and the night sky.

I look back at Caspian confused and he replied "Surprise" with a smile.
