Ashton's POV

I woke up with my sweet mate in my arms, which was pretty much the best morning ever. Last night she let me mark her, and she even marked me, which kind of surprised me. Not a lot of she wolves have the strength to mark their mate, it happens a lot more often with a she wolf that has another she wolf as her mate, but a she wolf marking her male wolf doesn't really happen, especially an Alpha. But fuck it felt good, her claiming me. I was already hers, but this just shows it off, but it also means that Evie is strong. And I couldn't be prouder.

I looked at her laying on my chest, still in a deep sleep and decided to bring her some breakfast. She probably won't wake up for a few more hours, so I have time. I quietly got out of bed an put on some shorts and a shirt and walked out of my room and down the stairs. As I walked in the kitchen, I saw my mom standing. Shit I forgot to introduce them.

"Well good morning son, nice of you to come see the woman who raised you." Shit this can't be good. "I met Evie yesterday, well for 2 seconds before she ran off to help the pups at the school."

"I'm sorry mom, but before you say anything, if the situation was different, I would have introduced you immediately."

"Stop talking." I listened, I only listen to her and my dad most of the times. "She's a good girl, I love how she acted. She didn't even know the pack yet and she still wanted to save them. So no, I'm not disappointed or angry or anything. What I am angry about is, that you didn't come and see me when everything was over. No, you just took her away upstairs, without an introduction." She said as she hit the back of my head."

"Ouch mom." I said while rubbing the spot she just hit.

"Be glad that's all I did. Now your sister is still with her mate, that's why she wasn't here yesterday, thank the moon goddess. They will probably stop by later today to meet Evie." At the mentioning of her name, I smiled instantly.

"It will be good to see her, I have some apologies to make for my behavior before I left."

"Yes, you do, speaking of Evie, where is she now?" Mom said while looking around.

"She's still sleeping, we kind of completed the mating bond yesterday." I said while blushing. Fuck I'm an Alpha I don't blush. My mom's eyes widened as she looked at my neck for the first time.

"She marked you?"

"Yeah..."

"Wow, now she must be strong."'

"Yeah, I guess she is." I was still so proud to call her my mate. But I guess I should have known she would be strong, considering she could fight off the mate bond for so long. "Anyways I was thinking about bringing her some breakfast upstairs, could you maybe help me?" I get it yes, Alpha's don't ask permission, but we do with our moms. She is the one who raised me, so I have a lot of respect for her, as well as my dad.

"Of course." She said with a smile. "Now what would she like?" We discussed some breakfast ideas and decided some fruits, tea and toast would be okay for now. If she wanted anything else, we could always just go downstairs, to eat. When we finished preparing breakfast, I walked back upstairs to my room. I knocked on the door, but she didn't answer so I just opened it. I found her the way I left her, still sleeping peacefully on her side. I put down the trey on the bed and tried to wake her up as softly as possible.

"Evie, wake up baby." She scrunched her cute little nose and slowly opened her eyes. "Good morning."

"Hi." She said in a sleepy tone. "Good morning." She yawned and stretched her arms above her head, while rubbing her eyes.

"I made you some breakfast." at the mentioning of food, she was suddenly wide awake and looked at the trey on the bed.

"Oh my god, strawberries." Note to self, she loves strawberries. "Thank you." She gave me a kiss on my mouth and pulled me into a hug, which I didn't expect but loved. She pulled back and tried to picked bend over to reach for a strawberry but decided against it.

"What's wrong?" My mind went a haywire. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She just blushed. "Please tell me." I said in a concerned tone and she looked down at her lap.

"Uhm, I'm just sore." She said so softly I almost couldn't hear her. I almost laughed but could luckily stop it from happening.

"Hey, it's okay." I chuckled a little.

"It's not funny, I feel like there's still a stick in my vagina." This time I couldn't stop myself from laughing but as I looked at here, she joined me. "You suck." She said as she threw a pillow at me.

"No sucking is more your job, but I can lick and flick if you want." I said as I continued laughing.

"Fuck off." She pouted and I couldn't help but kiss the cute pout on her face.

"Now how about we eat some breakfast and head downstairs. My mom wants to meet you, well officially and I guess my dad and my sister and her mate too. Your parents probably want to see you as well."

"Shit, I didn't even think about that. Are they mad?"

"No, they just want to meet you. So now, come let's enjoy, because I worked hard enough for this breakfast."

During breakfast it seemed like Evie made it her mission to torture me. As she ate the strawberries, she sucked them first just to put them in her mouth and moan. I felt like I was going to explode in my shorts, so after breakfast I had to take a cold shower to calm down.

When we finally came downstairs my parents and Evie's parents were talking in the living room. When Emma noticed Evie, she stood up and gave her a hug while William was looking at me with an angry/irritated expression.

"Are you okay?" Emma asked her daughter.

"I am fine mom; the kids are okay and so is Brianna." Evie looked at me when she said Brianna. Fuck that's the girl I slept with in high school, she found her mate a couple of months ago. He was a guard of one of the neighboring packs but decided to stay her with her. When he found out she slept with me, he almost left her. I kind of ordered him to stay and give her a chance. I mean yes, she was a slut, but she deserved her mate. And it was also a bad time for me, so I lashed out at him, and I felt sorry, that's why he could join my pack. It had just been my pack for a few days than, now it's been months and it's finally calming down.

"You." William said looking at me. "If she accepted you, so should I. So, I guess, welcome to the family." I let out a breath, I didn't know I was holding "I see my daughter marked her territory." We all laughed while Evie just blushed.

"Dad stop, please don't embarrass me."

"Now that that is out of the way, let me finally introduce you to my parents." My parents walked over to me and my mom gave Evie a hug.

"Welcome dear, I know we met briefly yesterday, but we will get to know each other later. Like I said yesterday, my name is Amanda."

My dad walked over and pulled out his hand for Evie to shake. Always the businessman, I thought. "Welcome, from what I've heard, you will be one fine strong Luna for our pack."

"Thank you, sir. It is nice to meet you both formally."

"Please call me Tomas."

My sister entered the room. "I see we're doing introductions; you aren't going to skip me right brother?" My sister had the same blue eyes as me and my mom but had also mom's blond hair, where I had dad's brown hair.

"Of course, not baby sis." I gave her a hug. "Evie this Ariana." I introduced her to my sister, and they gave each other a hug.

"Ari, seriously, you couldn't wait, like two seconds for me to get the bags." My sisters mate ran into the room, with a few bags. I sometime kind of feel sorry for her.

"And that would be my sisters mate Naomi." Naomi turned at the mentioning of her name and looked at me and Evie.

"Oh shit, you must be Evie. I heard so much about you, it's nice to meet you. I'm sorry about my idiot of a mate" She gave Evie a hug.

"Hey, you love me." Ariana said.

"Yes, that I do." She gave her a quick kiss.

"Yes, it's nice to meet you both too." Evie smiled as she looked at Ariana and Naomi and I could understand why. They had some difficulties in the beginning because they both didn't expect to have a mate of the same gender. But now they truly love each other and make a good couple.

"Now I think some girl time is in order." Ariana said.

"You know what, that sounds actually nice." Evie said with a smile. "You go talk with Josh and the dads, while I have fun with the girls. I will see you later." She gave me a kiss and walked away, with Ariana and Naomi.

"Did that seriously just happen?"

My dad walked over to me and gave me a pad on my back. "Get used to it son, they say the Alpha is the leader of the pack, but the Luna is the boss." He gave my mom a wink.

"Now I think I'm going to join the girls." Mom said. "Are you coming with as well Emma?"

"You know what, sure, it's been a while since I had a girls day." With that the moms left as well, leaving us guys alone.

"Well okay what now?"

"Now, we're going to my office and talk about what happened yesterday, while the girls relax." Dad said.

"Okay let me get Josh and we'll come over. That lazy fuck is probably still sleeping."

"No, he's actually been in the gym with Kristin for a while. Nice girl by the way, I met her this morning briefly, they are going to go to meet with Joshes parents this afternoon."

"Oh, that sounds like fun, but I will go get him and tell Kristin about girls day."

After getting Josh and telling Kristin about the girls day, we entered my dad's office. He had now a smaller office, as he was not Alpha anymore, but he still helped me with stuff, so he had his own office.

"So, what happened yesterday?" I asked a little bit irritated, as this was not how I wanted Evie to get to know the pack.

"We were ambushed, we either have a mole or we appear weak to the rogues. there are two guards in the hospital, one is in a coma and the other one I spoke too briefly. He said there were just 2 rogues entering the premises. But they were strong, it seemed like they were looking for something or someone. We still don't know what exactly, as Evie killed one and the other ran away and is probably dead by now." William explained.

"So, what now?" Josh spoke for the first time this meeting.

"We don't do anything for now. We just improve the training of the guards, like I said yesterday. And keep an eye on strange behavior. If we're planning anything now, they could use it against us, if we do have a mole." Everyone nodded their head.

"Okay, let's make a training schedule." Dad said.
