A/N:
This is probably the point where I start changing up the story to how I wish it played out, but my extensions will still follow the plot line. They'll just be additional quirks. Hope you enjoy!

"This isn't fair." Genesis complained as Seth hoisted her up the mountain behind Jacob. They were testing out their plan since the battle would be taking place just the next day and all Genesis could be upset about right now is the fact that Seth is younger than her, yet taller by at least an inch. Genesis is the same height as Bella, but she's still embarrassed about her short size.
"You're perfectly normal sized! You look great!" Seth assured. Genesis sighed but smiled at him anyway. Seth was like a little brother to her, his sister, Leah, being one of her good friends. Genesis met them when they were all just kids and she and Bella were t Charlie's. They kept in contact over the years after they became teenagers and got phones. Guess one could say that Leah was her best friend.
But, after Leah started dating Sam, the two didn't talk too much. But, when he broke her heart, she came back to her and hasn't stopped talking to her since. Genesis and Seth, however, have always been in touch. He's never had a girlfriend, his father purposely telling him not to for the sake of him and his future imprint, so he was never distracted by anything else.
"Can I ask you something?" Seth asked after a while of silence. Genesis raised her head to look at him more clearly, raising an eyebrow as a cue to continue, "Do you think Leah will ever find the one for her? Like, her imprint? I'm tired of seeing her so down and out of it. I wish she could just, find the one, you know?" He vented. Genesis smiled at him. It was cute to hear how much Seth cares about his sister.
"Seth, I promise you that you two will find your imprints. Everyone deserves someone, including you and Leah." Genesis assured. Genesis believed wholeheartedly that they were going to find their other half. She couldn't think of any other two people that deserved that kind happiness than them. She had noticed that Charlie and Sue were starting to get closer too, and she couldn't be more thrilled for the two.

Everyone deserves someone.
Genesis laid back on Carlisle's bed, her head full of worries for the next day. Bella and herself had to stay at the Cullen house for the night, as per the plan, so Alice managed to convince Charlie to let both of them to stay over even though, one, both of them are adults, and two, they're both at their boyfriends house, so it's up to his own imagination as to what could be happening. Not that Genesis had the intention, but it's not unheard of.
"You know, thinking too much could bring a lot of stress." Carlisle interrupted the silence as he entered the room from his shower. He was wearing sweatpants and a t shirt, a view that only Genesis would be blessed to see. Genesis flipped over on her stomach and groaned, trying to hide her evident blush from the amused man. The bed next to her dented down as he sat next to her, a chuckle from him taunting her flustered state.
"You have some nerve to hide your face from me. How do you think I feel seeing you wear my clothes?" He said. It's true. Genesis was wearing one of his rare t shirts and sweats that is very baggy on her small form, and, if he still had blood flowing through him, he'd be blushing too. Genesis smirked to herself a bit, now finding a serge of confidence. She was going to tease him.
She flipped herself over and sat up abruptly, catching him by surprise as she pushed him onto his back against the mattress. Her face was beet red, but she was determined to see this through. She put her hands on either side of his head, and, to her surprise, he turned his head to the side in embarrassment. She obviously didn't see him blush, but she did see his stoic facade crumbling, and that was a win in her book.
She took a moment to look at him longer as a smile made it's way to her face, "You're beautiful, you know that?" She teased as she laid on top of his chest. Carlisle was too busy trying to internally calm himself down to even understand what she was doing. Once he pulled himself together, he swiftly flipped them over, doing the same thing she did to him. Genesis gulped. This wasn't supposed to happen.

She started thinking about her previous thoughts before, about what she thought Charlie could be thinking, and instantly began thinking more on the topic. Making love. She wasn't a virgin, unfortunately, because of what happened, but she was at heart. So, the thought of having her first with Carlisle wasn't a terrible thought, of course, but when? Where? Why? How?
Would they wait until marriage? She was honestly more keen to the idea of being married first, and since he's very 'old school', he most likely feels the same. But, where would they do it? She doesn't like the idea of the others with enhanced hearing to be around, especially since one can literally see their thoughts. Why would he even want to make love to her? With all her scars, she basically looks like a scratching post. Then, the questions all virgins have, how the hell does she even do it?
There are a few how's, actually. Like, how would she? How would it feel? How would she survive the wrath of a vampire, an overly strong man, and his hormones that haven't been fed for over three hundred years? Can you imagine?! "You know, I don't have to be a mind reader to see your internal struggle." Carlisle speaks as he falls next to her, pulling her into him. "What's on your mind?"
Genesis's eyes widened. How the hell was she supposed to explain this? 'Hey, yeah, sorry about that. I was just wondering how I was going to survive you DRILLING INSIDE ME'. Okay, maybe she doesn't have to be that dramatic, but it's true. "I was wondering about us." She answered vaguely. Carlisle was quiet for a moment, assessing his feelings. Did he want to marry her? Yes, a million times yes. But, it'd be kind of odd for her and her sister to both be engaged at the same time, so he was trying to find his moment. He can't tell her that, though.
"What about us?" He finally asked. Genesis sighed, she couldn't think of anything, so she's going to have to just spit it out. "Do you still consider me a virgin even after what happened to me? Would you rather wait until marriage for us to make love? What if when we do the others hear us or Edward? Would you even want to? Because, my body is ugly. Would you wait until I'm like you? Or would we actually talke the chance of you screwing me to death?" She questioned quickly, using random hand gestures out of anxiety.
Carlisle put his hands over his face, embarrassment overcoming him once more. How was he supposed to answer any of those questions? He could answer a few, no problem. But all of them? He thinks he'd die again, but this time of embarrassment. "Yes, I still would consider you a virgin because you're not experienced. Yes, I'd like to wait until we're married. We'll worry about them when we get to it. You're perfect to me, scars and all. And I would much rather wait until you are but if you keep teasing me then I'm going to lose my mind." He answered, his hands still covering his unnoticeably flustered face.
Genesis sat in silence for a moment before bursting out into giggles. She couldn't believe this was happening. After a moment, Carlisle joined her, laughing at their awkward conversation. He knew he was going to hear an earful from Edward whenever he got the chance since he was right up stairs, this was probably pure gold to him. Carlisle held Genesis closer to him once more, a goofy smile stuck on his face.
"No matter what, I will always love you."

But when she accidentally stumbles into the academy in search of a new place to stay, her destiny is changed forever. Determined to carve out a new place for herself and make the most of her good fortune, Lee Jia dives head first into the world of magic and martial arts. Fates Parallel is my first serious attempt at writing a story, and a personal love letter to Eastern fantasy and xianxia stories. It's heavily inspired by East Asian culture, folklore, and mythology, with what is likely going to be a decidedly Western artistic license. I try to write every day, with a goal of about 45,000 words per month (~1500 per day). Chapter lengths are around 3000 words on average, releasing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Cover art drawn by the incredibly talented Tsuu (TsurotArtistry).

An Id of Primal Chaos
TAG DISCLAIMER: The tags 'Portal Fantasy / isekai', 'High Fantasy', and 'Non-Human Lead' do not take place until later on in the novel. Probably mid-way through the first volume. The 'villainous lead' tag is a very loose tag. Some of the things the mc does can be considered villainous to those with a staunch moral code, however, I have not made the mc out to be overtly villainous. True Title: Advent of the Silent Storm (I came up with the original title a while ago, before I had even written a single chapter. It still kind of fits but this new title fits a lot better. I would change it but I don't know if it would screw up the recommendation algorithm.) Excerpt: My mind wanders through the soup of unconsciousness, still startlingly awake despite my physical form’s stasis. Electricity completely paralyzes the air around me and lightning flashes in a constant strobe of blinding light. The ground, thousands of feet below my being has been wiped clean of all manmade artifice and natural beauty; leveled, through absolute power. My power. Synopsis: Tetal Faelen, a very successful businessman with lofty goals, is introduced to an omniscient being through less than pleasant means. This being has an irresistible offer for Tetal with next to no downside. Tetal can’t help but wonder, “What’s the catch?” Additional Notes: Second novel I have started within the Web of Interconnected Realities. My other novel is not posted on this site so don't bother looking for it. I might post it here in the future.
