Ashton let out a huff that Luca found adorable and pulled the brunet into his chest.
"You'll be fine," Luca whispered, his voice low and murmured next to Ashton's ear.
"What if I fail?" he asked, his face growing nervous.
Luca rolled his eyes and placed his fingers within Ashton's, "You've studied like crazy Ash, I'm sure you'll be fine. In fact you'll be more the fine, you'll ace it."
Ashton groaned and tightened his hold on his boyfriend, accidentally pushing their bodies up against the wall.
The two were hidden in a toilet cubicle, concealing their affection before the time came for Ashton's exams to start.
"You're so lucky, you get to home now and not have to worry, "Ashton sighed, mindlessly playing with a loose strand in Luca's mess of hair.
"I will be worrying. About you, and hoping you're going okay," Luca mumbled, bringing his lips up to Ashton's.
Their lips touched for a short moment before Ashton broke it, the stress getting the better of him.
"Sadly I don't think we can kiss my stress away," Ashton said with a soft smile.
Luca returned the smile and gazed up at Ashton with a sympathetic expression painted over his features.
"Ash," he said, making the other boy focus all his attention on him, "You are like super smart okay? Even though you apparently hide that part of you away, you have such a natural ability when it comes to your education that I'm sure without even trying, you'll pass."
Ashton nodded his head, taking in every word Luca encouragingly said and he felt his heart grow warm.
"You're perfect you know that right?" Ashton questioned randomly, admiring every inch of Luca's flawless face.
A bright blush crossed his cheeks in an instant, "Stop," he mumbled, moving to hide his red face

"I'm being honest, " Ashton reached out and grabbed Luca's hands in his again, pulling him further into his chest, "Also, I've been doing some thinking lately."
Luca wrapped his arms around Ashton's neck and leaned up so they were staring into each other's eyes.
Ashton almost lost focus for a second, the golden-hazel light shining in Luca's eyes—captivating him.
"About?"
Ashton broke out of his trance, "I-uh about us."
Luca furrowed his eyebrows and rested his head against Ashton's besting heart.
"Oh?" he asked, chewing intently on his lip.
"Yeah I think you'll have to wait to find out though," Ashton replied, trying to hide his excited grin.
Before Luca could say anything further, the bell rang and an announcement went over the speakers, calling all students completing exams to head immediately to their rooms assigned.
Ashton's breath got caught in his throat as realisation dawned on him.
"I guess that's my cue," he grumbled, reluctantly breaking out his hold with Luca.
He moved to unlock the door and Luca quickly swooped in before he opened the door, giving him a small peck on the lips.
"Good luck," he breathed out and Ashton smiled before letting himself out.
"I'll text you afterwards," he said before closing the door behind him.
Luca sat down on the closed toilet, rubbing his hands into his face.
With a couple thoughts running through his mind, Luca reached into his trouser pocket and picked out his phone.
He opened his contacts and clicked on the most important one quickly typing out a short text message.
Good luck, it read before Luca hit send, hoping his sister would see it.
Luca was surprised when a reply came only a couple seconds later.
thanks. I'll talk to you soon yeah?
Luca's face brightened as his eyes skimmed over the message and felt his mood heighten.
Luca: yeah I'd like that :)
