Luca seemed quite impressed with the car and it's stunning interior. The seats were leather, the aroma crisp clean and although he didn't know what car model it even was, he was sure it was expensive.

It was a stark contrast to the old run down jeep Ashton tended to drive to and forth from school and Luca frowned at that.

"Where are we going?" he asked as Ashton started the car.

The car rocketed to life and soon, they were driving on the road, heading in a straight direction.

"Somewhere nice," Ashton commented with a smirk.

Luca rolled his eyes and turned fully to his left so he was watching as Ashton focused on the road.

"I still despise you."

Ashton released a chuckle and turned his smirk into a large grin, "Do you though?"

Luca kept silent, biting his lip as he casted his gaze downwards.

"We're here," Luca heard Ashton say.

He raised his eyebrows in surprise, "That was quick."

Ashton nodded his head and took out the key from the ignition, silently glancing out the window.

"Yeah it wasn't far from the restaurant. You ready?" he turned to Luca.

Luca smiled slightly at the boy, and they both turned in their seats to open the doors and escape the car.

The air was only a little cool, the night-time breeze leaving a litter of goosebumps down Luca's bare arms.

Ashton noticed and instantly slipped off the jacket he was wearing over his button up shirt. He generously handed it to Luca who widened his eyes at the offer.

"Take it," Ashton motioned his head to the jacket.

"No-No I can't. That's yours. It's fine I'm not even that cold," Luca said pushing Ashton's hand away.

Ashton shook his head and instead draped the jacket over Luca's shoulders.

He smiled at the sight and Luca furrowed his eyebrows before reluctantly pulling the jacket on correctly.

"This doesn't mean anything," Luca mumbled, peering away.

Ashton laughed, "It looks good on you. You should keep it."

And it sounded like a joke but he was serious. It looked really good on him.

"Shut up," Luca grumbled with a blush hardly visible under the darkness.

Ashton only smiled and tugged on Luca's arm, "Come on," he said and dragged him down a lit path.

Luca took in his surroundings and noticed bright coloured lights glowing across a variety of flowers and large oak trees.

There were a few other people in sight, taking photos on their phones and sitting on the edge of a fenced hill.

"This is so pretty... What is this place?" Luca asked in amazement.

"Hallow city park. At night," Ashton answered, letting go of his hold on Luca and coming to a halt.

He watched the sparkle in Luca's eyes as he took in the beauty of the park, the feeling of experiencing it during the night. It was a nice feeling, and it was even nice for it to be shared with the boy in front of him.

'I'm sorry," Luca mumbled, drifting his gaze back to Ashton.

Ashton knotted his eyebrows but knew full well what Luca was apologising for.

"For what?" he questioned.

Luca sighed, "For not wanting this," he pointed a finger between himself and Ashton, "I've had a long think about it these past couple weeks and I realise how stupid I've been."

It was true. It was if he was becoming Ashton deprived and although that thought was scary, it was a hit-in-the- face realisation.

He liked Ashton, a lot, and there was no point in shying away from it anymore.

He was ready to accept something greater then himself, something completely and utterly out of his comfort zone.

It was a change. A good one, he hoped.
