Luca had left Benji's house almost immediately and had walked home despite both Ashton's and Benji's refusals.

The sun was scorching hot like usual, and his skin tingled underneath it but much to his luck, his house was only a few streets away.

When he arrived at his house, he barged straight in and headed to his room in a huff.

He wasn't in the best mood much to obvious reasons and it seemed, when his sister passed him she instantly noticed that.

"Luca?" she asked, stopping him outside his bedroom door, "What are you doing home so early? Are you alright?"

Luca looked up at her, the corners of his bright eyes threatening to leak tears down his face.

"I'm just- I wanted to come home early is all," he lied, turning to avoid her scrutinizing gaze.

"Luca you're crying."

Her hands found his and without letting him speak-she guided him to her bedroom.

They sat on her bed carefully, Betsy reaching out a hand to wipe away a few of Luca's loose tears.

"Do you want to tell me what happened?" she asked, her tone soft and comforting.

Luca couldn't meet her gaze, his eyes not wanting to find the guilt that would summon when he looked into hers.

"I'm sorry," his voice broke and he shoved his palms into his face.

Betsy was baffled, "Luca you're weirding me out a little."

"I'm sorry, i'm so stupid and had go and ruin everything but I tried so hard not to. I did everything I could to not allow this to happen but I fucking wanted it so bad and I just had to give in. I just had to," Luca's words were muffled into his hands but Betsy heard them cleary.

"What is it? Luca, what did you do?"

He caught feelings. Luca went and caught feelings for the boy his sister liked and ruined everything. Now all he was left with, was the embrassament of the aftetmath and the guilt of that he did this to his own sister.

"I'm just-I'm sorry."

And Betsy didn't pry any further, because all she could do was be there for Luca—especially after basking in her own self pity over Ashton.

Who knew her brother was crying about the exact same person.
