"Shit. Shit. Shit."

Ashton snapped his gaze away from where he had turned a corner, only to catch sight of Luca. He was quick to turn back around the corner he'd come from, and lean against the brick wall.

He wasn't scared of seeing the boy was he? Perhaps, scared of confronting his feelings?

Yes, that was it. His feelings—they were on fire at the thought of Luca and well shit, he was acting so pathetic because of them.

He remembered how his friends had said he'd changed after falling for Besty and after falling for her brother instead, he felt like a completely different person.

Sure, he was nervous when talking to Betsy at first, but hell, he was nervous to even merely look at Luca without feeling like he wanted melt.

He wanted to reach out and touch his soft hair, to get to know the other boy—like really know him, he wanted to taste his lips and every single piece of the boy and okay, so he was discovering this completely different part to himself. A part where he craved to be with a boy not a girl, and not to mention the one boy who would never return such feelings and well, it was a little overwhemlming.

Ashton didn't think he was ready for any of it yet. It was all so new and sudden that he felt like exploring these feelings was a bad idea because he needed to give himself a reality check, understand if he truly was gay and just, allow himself to come to terms with it all.

But Ashton tended to go forth with his bad ideas anyway because when it came down to it, he was prepared to take the risks.

And so, he turned the corner of the school building and headed straight over to Luca.
