"Are you avoiding me?" Ashton stopped Luca on his way to class, "I understand why."

Luca gulped and asked himself, Did he though? Did he know what Benji told him to do because of his fucking feelings?

"I'm an asshole. I can't believe I'm about to tell you of all people this, but I've been pursuing your sister and now, after everything, I'm the least bit interested in her. You were right, everything you said was right."

Ashton's words completely shocked Luca and he released a breath he didn't know he had been holding, his mind swirling with new information.

"Ashton.. Maybe you should talk to Betsy about this.." Luca said after a moment, his heart almost aching for the boy in front of him because he seemed so down and Luca had never seen him like it before. He was always happy and cocky and confident but never sad.

"You're not going to laugh in my face and yell at me?" Ashton asked, his frown deepening.

Luca just shook his head, "No."

"Why?" he pressed, his lips forming into a straight line.

"Ashton, believe me, I am ripping you apart in my head right now. I'm just, I want you to talk to Betsy about this, not me," Luca explained, his eyes darting around the hallway, landing anywhere except Ashton.

"Maybe–Maybe, I'm just confused. Maybe I do like her and I'm just going a little weird. What is wrong with me?" he said and didn't wait for a response before leaving Luca in the hallway, loudly repeating the question he just asked as he walked away, "What the fuck is wrong with me?"

Luca sighed heavily and gripped his bag strands tightly against his shoulders before shaking his head and entering into his next class.

A/n: I was thinking of ship names for Luca and Ashton and then lashton popped into my mind. And then i was like oh, lashton is the ship name of Luke and Ashton from 5sos and then I was like oh shit, because I was going to make Ashton call Luca, Luke as a nickname and then I realised I fucked up.
