On one Tuesday in particular, Ashton thought it would be the perfect idea to spark a conversation between himself and Luca.

He had left the room to venture off into the kitchen and grab some snacks after Betsy's stomach growled. She insisted she wasn't hungry, but Ashton felt the need to feed her anyway.

So here he was, entering into the kitchen just as Luca was exiting it with a plate of toast in his hands.

"Heyyy," Ashton greeted, trying to act casual and calm.

He would be lying if he said he wasn't at least a little intimidated by him. Luca always had this sort of devilish glint flashing through his eyes as he glanced over at Ashton and he would send him a scowl and look away. It left Ashton confused and baffled, so maybe just maybe if he tried to be Luca's friend, then that would change.

Luca sent him a grunt before turning and walking off without a word. Nothing. That's all Ashton received and it made his veins pulse with rage because no one ignored Ashton Anders.

But Luca did.
