Today was colder than usual.

I could feel the hairs of my arm stand up, as I stepped outside of my apartment I shared with some friends.

It was barely Monday and I was already tired. The sun was beginning to rise without delay. My favorite part of the day. I liked to daydream and reminisce about certain things on my way to the city bus stop. My boots sunk in the mud, scrapping against the gravel as I tried to tip toe along the sidewalk. It has rained last night so there was puddles everywhere. I didn't mind walking in silence it soothed me. I passed a block, before I noticed a tapping sound. It sounded distant but close enough that I knew it was near. Besides from hearing cars in the nearest intersection I could hear this tapping sound. Maybe I was just overreacting.

I continue to walk and try not to notice, One, two, three....

I swiftly turn around hoping I'd catch whatever it was, but only see nothing but a cat following right behind me.

Phew. Thank god.

"Aww you so cute" I laugh to myself holding on to my chest. I take out my phone and check the time. "Here I am, hearing things" I laugh, I'm running late going miss the bus if I don't hurry up.

I continue my way to the end of the street. just another block to the right and I would be at the bus stop.

Again there was that rhythmical tapping from before.

I abruptly stop. I turn around and expect to see the cat following me again, but this time I see nothing but an empty street.

"Boo!"

Everything turns blurry and I suddenly fade into darkness.

====

Blocks of blurry things start to appear as I open my eyes. I squint my eyes and blink twice to try to make out what it is. My head is throbbing in pain and I have no idea why.

I lean forward, ouch!

My hands are tied to the arms of a chair?

"Whaat?" I mumble.

Looking straight ahead I come clear to my surroundings. The room is cold, dark and slightly dirty. The walls are painted gray and nothing but a single bed and the chair I'm tied to are in the room.

What am I doing here?

I begin to hyperventilate and start squirming around in my chair, no use. Not only my wrists were tied but my legs were too. I notice my pockets feel light and my purse is gone. My phone is gone, shoot.

This can't be happening.

"I've been waiting for you". A voice so clear and smooth echoed across the room. It sent chills down my spine. I knew it was the kidnapper but I didn't dare to look up, I couldn't.

My breath became visible in the cold room, I shudder in fear.

"Look at me" the kidnapper yells

Reluctantly I do. I turn to my left and see a man leaning against the doorway with his arms crossed. He had to be no more than in his late twenties. His face perfectly aligned; jawed. But there was a dark twisted smile on his face, it didn't match his handsome face.

"Welcome Susan" he voice radiates the room.

Help me.
