《Destructive Heaven》Chapter 9: Pain

Cain's pale skin had a tint of pink, and his body was heating up quite quickly now. You could see it in his fiery gaze that there was no escape; no possible outcome that would lead to a successful avoidance with your head still attached to your shoulders. Your cheeks were moist with tears, and you began to choke back on your own words, dreading what Cain wished to do with you.
Cain's large hand had grabbed ahold of your bare breast, gently squeezing it as his fangs taunted you, shimmering from the light that seeped through your window. The moon was full, and bright; its light was spinning around your room so quickly, dancing up and down the plain walls as if to distract you from Cain's starved hands. You began to feel sick to your stomach, and your head grew lighter as your eyes remained fixated on this light.
Cain pressed his large bulge against your womanhood, teasing the thin, frilly underwear that protected it. His breathing got heavier, as his grip became painfully tight. You felt a yelp slip out, and you couldn't help but squeeze your eyes shut. He was so large. His stature was growing closer to your aching body.
"Was this enough for you, love? Perhaps I can finally move onto the fun part?", Cain says, as if he was truly asking your consent. These words were simply meant to taunt you, anger you, and render you completely helpless against his will.
"Cain, I don't want to do this. I've never-", you pause for a moment, knowing that now was not the time for childish embarrassment, "I've never done this before. I'm terrified, please, please just let me go."
Cain's yellow orbs flickered with delight. It was the very fear that lingered in your voice that he desired so heavily. He lifts his hand to your face, sliding his thumb against your trembling tongue as his lips devilishly curled into what looked like the most conniving smiled you've ever seen. He slips his thumb up and down your tongue slowly, before prying your mouth open forcefully.
"Never done this before, you say? Why, my love, that's precisely why it must be done now.", he pushes out with a sarcastic chuckle.
This statement caused you to widen your eyes with trepidation, your mouth quivering as his thumb pressed harder into your tongue. The force was so strong, it felt as though the bottom of your jaw could tear open at any second. You winced in pain, but your focus quickly turned to the sensation of your once protective underwear being slipped down. You began to shake your head rapidly, sobbing hard as Cain ripped them from your thighs, but he only held your jaw tighter, preventing even the slightest of movements.
"Now, now, don't be so defiant. If you wish, I could just end your pitiful life right here. So, I suggest you be on your best behavior, [y/n].", Cain whispers demandingly under his breath, while his eyes stare hungrily at the soft flesh that covered your hips.
That light again, the light from the moon, was once again brought to your attention. You never realised how beautifully it coated your room, adding a sort of delicate ambiance to the possessions you kept. You could hear the sound of Cain's zipper sliding down the wonderfully long, black slacks he wore, but you paid it no mind. You refused to acknowledge the situation, and as if it were a sort of coping mechanism your brain triggered for your faltering sanity, you soon weren't able to think much of anything.

You awoke to the sound of your alarm blaring, filling the quiet room you slept in. Opening your eyes was a painful task, but sitting up was possibly one of the worst pains you could have ever endured. Your body was bruised beyond recognition, and there was a painfully sharp pain shooting down your inner thighs. Your wrists were stained red from the tie that was used to bind them, and your jaw ached as if you had bit into a solid cinder block.
The throbbing pain that pulsated through your small, tender body was unbearable, and you soon found tears delicately streaming down your beaten cheeks. You sobbed and screamed for a long, long moment, as you realised what Cain had done to you. The blood was stained against your sheet as if to taunt you. You held your shoulders and curled up, laying your aching forehead against your knees.
"No.. No, this can't be true..", you coughed out violently. You felt your body tremble beneath your fingertips, and catching your breath was a challenge.
"He took it. He took the only thing I wanted to save. He didn't even cherish it- He just took it.", you cried out, painfully screaming out his cursed name until your throat became a ball of tension.
Your face fell to your hands heavily; your wrists trembled under the weight. You could feel your palms carry your tears as they pooled up slowly. They were hot, burning hot, and you couldn't tell whether you were completely consumed by rage, or dejection. Your lip quivered at the thought of ever having to face Cain again. Just imagining it was enough to send your mind into a furious frenzy.
"Cain! Dammit you, come out and face me!", you screamed out into the emptiness. The ambiance was deathly silent, your orbs darted around the room for any trace of the slender demon. There was nothing, there was no one.
Your eyes fell to the clock sitting against the matte wood of your night stand; the brightly colored numbers filling your mind with dread. You should have left your apartment twenty minuets ago, and at this rate you'd be at least half an hour late to work. The trains wouldn't be picking up anytime soon, at least any that would take you to the right station in time.
You slide your body off your bed, and standing flat on your feet sent sharp, tingling pains up through the soles of your feet, causing you to wince in pain. You stumbled to your mirror, propping your hands against the marble counter for balance as you glanced at yourself. You bit down into your lip trying to hold back the tears that were burning the back of your eyes.
"It hurts.", you said quietly to yourself. You looked horrible, you were completely marked up, and your body was too tender and sore to even try to attempt a normal stance. You were so disgusted by what you saw in the mirror, it wasn't you.
There was a soft, warm glow in your room. The morning sun had just past the horizon, and slowly began to set itself in the clear sky. It's rays slipped through your curtains gently, illuminating your plain walls. It's warmth teased your skin, tickling the back of your neck as you lifted your hands from the counter. You took a step back from your reflection, but your weakened body wasn't able to keep itself standing. Your knees caved in, sending sharp waves of pain up the back of your thighs before your back met the hard floor.

The collision caused a dull sound to emerse, but your throat was too tight to make respond to the pain. You stared up at the ceiling for a long while, watching the warm rays turn into a deep gold as the sun rose higher. Your lashes began to feel heavy, and your breathing deepened. As your mind began to go blank from pain, you suddenly hear a familiar, cheerful jingle chime out.
"My phone.. It must be work. I can't even bring myself to get up.", you mumbled with your lids half closed over your glossy eyes. The warmth of the sun had swallowed you into a deep slumber as the chime slowly faded out of your ears.
"It hurts.", you whispered to yourself again before going blank.
✞✞✞
You could feel a weight on your body, something didn't feel right. You weren't on the floor anymore, rather, somewhere more gentle and inviting. There was a very quiet sound that broke through the white noise around you. The sound of a plastic bag was voilently entering your ears, causing your brows to twitch. Behind your lids was pitch black, so you assumed it was night. You didn't want to open your eyes, you were too scared to. If you opened your eyes, the pain would become your reality again.
You didn't want to know what the noise was, you didn't even want to know what the weight on you was that provided you a comfortable warmth. You body went dead cold as the sensation of a large, boney hand slid across your forehead. It was so warm, it burned. You could feel your spine tingling with adrenaline, and your breathing got noticeably faster.
"My love?", said the voice before you.
They were so close you could feel their hot breath against your cheeks. The voice sent a haunting echo out into the room. You knew it was Cain. You didn't want to look at him; you didn't want to see the bastard's painfully beautiful face. You didn't want to look into his threatening, bright orbs. They were so yellow, they burned like the sun. You could feel his hand slowly move from your forehead, leaving a sensation that could only be described as pins and needles. The cold air brushed back against the spot his warm hand once protected.
"Well, if you're refusing to look at me, then I suppose I could just put your pitiful body back where I found it. Hm, would you prefer that instead, love?", he groaned to you. You could hear him click his tongue in annoyance, which was followed by a heavy exhale.
You did not respond to him. You weren't about to give into this thing. They don't have the right to act innocent, you thought to yourself. You could feel his aura swallow the room. He was getting very displeased by your behavior every moment you ignored him.
"Ah, I see. So we're going to be like that, then? You humans really are ungrateful, greedy creatures. Disgusting.", he coughs out in annoyance, "But, unfortunately I have no patience to play this game with you.", Cain mumbles as he slips his long arms beneath your tender body.
"Cain-"
Suddenly you were lifted into the air with Cain's arms tightly wrapped around you. You winced in pain as your muscles tensed up from the sudden movement. You couldn't help it anymore, your eyes shot open from surprise, and then it happened.
Cain was gently looking at you in his arms, staring into your eyes for a moment causing a hot blush to run down your body. You could feel his fingers tighten their grip around your sore muscles. You noticed you were in the living room, and your were propped onto the couch. The weight was the throw-over blanket you kept there as decoration. It was indeed night, as you thought. The sliding door which led out to the balcony was illuminated by the white light of the moon.
"I tried being nice to you, but since you want to be stubborn, I regret my decision.", Cain says as he snaps his vision away from your eyes, and begins to walk back to your room, where you remember laying before Cain moved you. He moved with such large strides, it took only a few steps before he reached your room.
"Cain, it hurts. It hurts really bad.", you stuttered as he held you over the spot you had fell. He slowly looks down at you and smirks.
"I know it does, Love.", his voice echoed as you could feel his grip completely disappear from around you. Your eyes widened as you watched his pale face stare down at you as you fell hard against the floor, sending a huge blast of pain throughout your body. You coughed out from shock, and for a moment, were unable to catch your breath as the wind was knocked out from your lungs.
"Pathetic. Here, have this. I picked it up for the fever you were running. Do you have any idea how much trouble that caused me? I had to talk to filthy humans such as yourself just to get something for an ungrateful brat.", Cain scoffs as he shuffles through the plastic bag you heard from before, pulling out a little bottle of pills for fever relief. He just held it over you, and dropped it. You turned your head and flinched as it fell against your cheek and rolled off to the floor.
You were panting heavily, and your body was drenched in sweat. Everything hurt so much, your mind was spinning. You stared at the bottle desperately, and then turned your eyes to Cain who was watching in delight. His sadistic smile was filling your body with a burning heat from pure anger and disgust. You propped your upper body up on your forearms, closing your eyes as your silky hair fell over your tortured shoulders.
"Help me, Cain. Please, I need your help. It hurts. It hurts, it hurts.", you said as your voice began to tremble. You stared at the ground, tears began falling from your bottom lid, hitting the carpet. You watched the carpet swallow their moisture, before the pain suddenly began to disappear. You felt warmth as you were lifted back into Cain's arms. Your head rested against his toned chest, and very slightly you could hear the beat of his heart. It was slow, and deep.
There were no words exchanged, but you could feel the pain draining from your body. Your mind was in a daze, everything around you was shaking, but Cain's warmth filled your body with a strange delight.
"That's my good girl, I like it when you plead. I'll offer you my help this time, Love. Just tell me where it hurts~", Cain coos in your ear softly.
