"You know, this flashback has been going on for three chapters now right?" Beverly asked

"I know, Shh. We're getting to the good part" Aqua giggled

"I'll allow you to take the lead" Bev smiled

"I'm daddy, of course I'll take the lead" Aqua smirked

"oh? Oh really?!" Bev teased

"Yes. Yes really" Aqua whispered, her lips pressed against Beverly's forhead

Beverly took the opportunity to slip her legs over Aqua's waist, she straddled her girlfriend and pinned Aqua's wrists above her head. The rain continued to bash the side of the walls, thunder roared through the entire city but the two girls only focused on each other.

"Are you trying to prove that you're a top right now?" Aqua smirked

"Do I have to prove anything?" Beverly whispered, her lips hovered over her girlfriend's

Her piercing green eyes caused a shiver to roll down Aqua's spine. She bit her lips nervously as her eyes fell to Beverly's lips

"No" Aqua said in a low voice

"Good, now finish the flashback of prom" Beverly whispered

"Yes ma'am"

"Alright ladies and gentlemen... And non binary pals" The Principal announced after being warned by Aquamarine about gender

"You got it!" Aqua smiled widely

"It's time to announce our prom king and prom queen!" The Principal squealed

"Did I tell you that I was actually nominated?" Beverly chuckled, Aqua's eyes went wide as her neck snapped towards her girlfriend.

"You're nominated for prom queen and you didn't tell me?!" Aqua asked

"I'm sorrryy, I just didn't want to get my hopes up" Beverly mumbled

"Who not? You're sweet, you're caring, You're smart, talented, you're graduating top of your class and you're so fucking beautiful. Who doesn't vote for you is blind or jealous"

"You really think that?" Beverly mumbled as her eyes glanced in Aqua's direction

"I know so" She whispered and nudged Beverly's shoulder

"Simp" Beverly teased

"For you? Anytime" Aqua whispered as she pecked the girl's cheek

"And your winner, for Prom Queen is!" The Principal announced.

"I swear if there's a dramatic drum rolls-" Aqua was cut off by the live band playing the drums, creating a tension in the room

Beverly threw her head back laughing when Aqua's rolled her eyes. Cliché ain't it?

"BEVERLY HILLS"

"Excuse me, what?" Beverly's eyes widened

Screams and cheers echoed throughout the entire auditorium, their clapping hands bounced off the wall and deafened Beverly's ear. The crowd parted and all eyes were on her, they parted a way leading towards the stage. The girl was still frozen in place, shocked that her name was even called.

Then again, she was immediately melted when Aqua's arms hugged around her stomach and a kiss was placed on her forehead

"You won baby" Aqua whispered

"I-I huh?" She asked, Aqua smiled widely and pushed Beverly in the direction of the stage

"Go get your crown!" Aqua squealed and slapped her palm against the girl's ass.

It completely awoken the girl, Beverly snapped out of her daze and snapped her head around to glare at her girlfriend, the students chuckled at the couple

"Come on up here Beverly" The Principal called out, the girl smiled and made her way up the stage

Her eyes looked out onto the hundreds of students who's eyes were on her. So many other girls wanted this opportunity, so many other girls was nominated, yet she won. Beverly Hills won. So there she was, on top a stage with spotlights bouncing off her body and making her dress sparkle under the light, her cheeks were stained red and her heart continued to pound out of her chest.

A cold metal then brushed against her skin, a tall crown was pressed into her hair. Her smile reached her ear as the students continued to clap, her cheerteam were screaming louder than everyone else in the room.

"And your prom king-"

During that moment, Beverly's eyes wondered over to girl girlfriend. She was able to spot the girl through the crowd within a second. Aqua's eyes were already on hers, her grin was wide as she held her thumbs up towards her. Beverly chuckled to herself, there was no one else she wanted up there other than Aqua.

"Jason Dean!" The Principal said

Both girl's faces fell to the fucking ground. Beverly's head slowly turned to face the boy that was passing through the crowd, smirking and waving at a few girls that were screaming his name.

But nothing could beat Aqua's reaction, her face turned stone cold and her jaw clenched watching the boy approach her girlfriend. Aqua placed her hand behind her back and waved her finger.

Jason 'magically' slipped and fell on the stairs, hitting his forehead against the steps. He groaned and stood to his feet, causing Aqua to roll her eyes.

She honestly thought he'd break something, maybe his neck.. Or is pride?

The boy pounded his fists against his chest, huffing like a big old gorilla. His jocks friends from the football team started to hype him up along with the screams of a few of his whores.

The crown was then tugged onto Jason's head. Aqua's jaw was tight and her teeth grinded against each other, she wasn't that jealous but she hated the thought of the boy being that close to Beverly, especially when he stated that he'd try at nothing to get her back.

But what happened next, burned every inch of Aqua's internal flesh. She had never felt so much rage as when pushed into passivity against her will. Aqua's feet moved faster than she'd ever knew to move.

Beverly was frozen in place as Jason's lips pressed against her own. His hands cupped her cheeks and pulled her closer, the entire auditorium went silent. Disgust was the first thing that popped into her head, his slimy, wet lips pressed hard against hers. She tried to push him off but he was far stronger.

A tap was pressed against the boy's shoulder. Jason groaned and snapped his neck around, pulling away from Beverly's lips to see who it was.

"Wha-"

Aqua's fist was slammed into his face while he sunk into his stomach. Blood pooled in his mouth as he gagged. Stars burst in Jason's vision as his world went black. A bone crushing pain consumed his entire face when Aqua's pulled her fist away, her fist covered with blood.

Beverly's jaw hung low when she witnessed the scene, her eyes slowly followed Jason's body as he collapsed onto the ground, unconscious.

Aqua smiled and flicked her wrist, a small pain filled her knuckles but she shook it off.

"I do believe there's a dance after being crowned" Aqua chuckled, she stepped over the boy's body, dipping her hands down and collected the crown off his head, kicking her heels against the boy's face

"I-" Beverly whispered

"Yes, I know. I leave you speechless, I know" Aqua giggled using Bevrley's words against her and pulled the crown over her own head

The room erupted with cheers that then came fists in the air and eyes flung wide. They were electrified, awake, soaring to new heights of emotion. Aqua smirked and took a bow towards the students. Beverly smiled widely when the girl turned her attention back towards hers

"Come on, dance with your Prince Charming" Aqua laughed as she intertwined her fingers with her girlfriend

Beverly giggled and tugged Aqua down the steps, heading in the direction of the center of the dance floor. The students parted and formed a wide circle, allowing the girls to have their dance.

Beverly leaned her head against Aqua's chest, her arm draped around Aqua's back while the girl held her hand. Their bodies were pressed against each other, eyes were on them but their attention were far from anyone else in the room.

Aqua smiled and pressed her lips to the tip of Beverly's nose, giving her a quick peck.

"Ugh stoooop" Beverly groaned

"Why?" Aqua smiled

"Because you're gonna make me blush" she chuckled

"That's my job sweetheart" Aqua whispered and pecked the girl's nose again

"Oh for fuck sakes!"

"I love when you're mad" Aqua chuckled and brought her hand to Beverly's back, dipping the girl low

Beverly squealed when her body leaned down, almost touching the ground, her hands gripped Aqua's shoulder for dear life. Aqua chuckled above her.

"But most importantly, I love you" Aqua whispered before pulling the girl up right

Beverly smiled when she noticed that Aqua's crown was tilting down the side of her head, she chuckled and adjusted her girlfriend's oversized crown and placed a tender kiss on Aqua's forhead

"And I love you more" Beverly smiled sweetly

The celebration went on into the night, everyone dancing like they'd forgotten how to stand still. The two girls danced all night, their mind, souls and bodies connected in such a way that they couldn't explain.

It was a night of magic
