"What the fuck are you doing here" Aqua hissed

"Hello to you too" He smiled

"Um, who's that?" Allie asked, Aqua rolled her eyes and faced her best friend

"My fiancé"

"Aquamarine, look at my feet" Adam squealed, the girl furrowed her brows

"What?"

"It's so cute" Adam laughed as he wiggled his toes

His brown hair was soaking wet, not to mention that he was completely naked-

"Would you look at that thing" Jackie smirked

"I'm surprised you're circumstanced" Allow laughed

"Oh... Thank you" Adam grinned, oblivious to what that meant

"Turn around, give us a little show" Josie smirked

"Oh my God" Elena laughed and slapped her girlfriend's arm

"Oo you wanna see my butt? IT'S SO CUTE" Adam squealed

The boy turned around to expose his smooth backside, the girl's squealed when their assess landed on the man's curved and plump ass, hairless. Just the way they liked it.

"Adam, what are you DOING here" Aqua yelled

"Um, you ran out on our wedding remember?"

"One of the worse day of my life, but the best decision I ever made" Aqua said

"Well, you're still my fiance wether you like it or not" Adam mumbled

"Love triangle, oops" Josie muttered

"It's not a triangle, more like a straight line" Elena ensured

"I'll slap you into the next week, don't you dare try to start anything right now" Aqua glared

"What is this contraption you're abiding in?" Adam asked

"It's called a house, Adam. Did they not teach you that in MerCademy?" Aqua rolled her eyes

"I never went to school. Since I'm the prince, my father had me training to be a 'Man' since I was born" Adam said lowly, Aqua's eyes softened

"I guess we both have dumbass fathers" Aqua mumbled

"Right? Sometimes I wish I can hit him over the head with a-"

"-Turtle shell" Aqua completed the boy's sentence, causing Beverly to raise a brow

"Um, am I missing something here?" Beverly asked

"Damn, you're really pretty" Adam chuckled

"And I thought you were my fiance" Aqua laughed and stepped aside, allowing the boy to enter the house

"What the heck?" Beverly questioned

"How did you find me?" Aqua asked

"Call it fish instincts" Adam chuckled,

Adam's eyes scanned the entire kitchen, the lights were now on him giving the girls a better view of the man.

"He's actually cute" Allie said

"Too bad we're all gay and taken" Josie laughed

"Is no-one gonna say anything about the fact that my girlfriend's fiancé is in the kitchen?" Beverly questioned

"Girlfriend?" Adam asked

"Yep, girlfriend" Aqua smirked, her arm threw over Beverly's shoulder as she kissed the top of the girl's head, earning a blush.

"But... But you're mine" Adam pouted

"No sir, I'm all hers so you'll have to take it up with her" Aqua smiled

"Who is this her you speak of?" Adam questioned

"Oh right, let me introduce you two. Adam, this is Beverly, my wonderful, sexy, adorable, crazy girlfriend" Aqua smiled

"What kinda compliment was that?" Allie laughed

"Um... Hi" Beverly mumbled, Adam smiled widely and stretched his hand out to Beverly

"Okay, if you're gonna shake my hand, you need to have on some clothes first" Beverly laughed after realizing the boy wasn't a threat

"Clothes?" Adam questioned

"I don't have anything for guys" Beverly groaned as she headed up the step

"Aquamarine, since you left there's been chaos in Atlantis" Adam said

"What happened?"

"Your father isn't... He isn't feeling that well" Adam said, a pain surged through Aqua's heart

She was conflicted to a point, should she feel sad for the sickness of her father or should she feel nothing because he was a terrible man?

Either way, there was still a stinging sensation in her heart that was spreading as she listened to Adam's words.

"What happened to him?"

"He's not injured physically" Adam assured the girl

"Buuut a great aura of sadness has washed over him, it's the worse he's ever been"

The only thing Aqua felt was sadness, every other emotion pushed from her being. Where there was the love, peace and excitement from hanging with her friends was now an aching hollowness.

"I... I don't know what to say"

"There's nothing to say, it's okay to feel" Adam said

"Why is he even sad in the first place? he didn't act like he cared when I was there"

"You're the only person he has left that he loves, I don't know him and it seems as it you two didn't have that good or a relationship but he's always gonna be your father. I'm sure he loves you, he has a complicated way of showing it" Adam said, Aqua's face scrunched up in disgust

Her anger came in like an impossible built up steam, burning inside of her on the way out, Aqua's rage was starting to build high as she thought about the memories she had with her father, the last time she saw his face, the shock in his eyes when he failed to kill her.

"The man tried to KILL ME when I escaped, I still have a fucking scar on my damn stomach from when he STRIKED ME WITH DEADLY INTENSIONS. He's never saw me as a strong person, he's never said good morning to me for five fucking years! I'm his fucking daughter and he gives zero fucks if I'm happy, eating or existing! The man cares about himself and when it doesn't go his way, he'll stop at nothing to make it his. That's why when I refused to follow his rules, he didn't hesitate to TRY TO KILL ME ADAM" Aqua yelled

That was the breaking point of her patience, her calmness and hiding of all of her pain. Aqua tried to push her past behind when she came on land, she wanted a new life, a fresh start.

But we can't grow if we don't acknowledge our past.

We need to realize our mistakes, our pain, the sadness and the anger that all led to who you are today.

Aqua pushed it all away, so deep within her that she forgot about it, sure her life was far different from what it was. She's a model, have a supportive group of friends who has her back and a girlfriend who's everything she's ever wanted in a soulmate, especially having a vagina and all.

But in that that moment, she was blinded by a five-course serving of rage that tasted bitter, yet surprisingly satisfying.

The room was silent, the girls knew of Aquamarine's past but since she never showed any sign of hurt or pain, they never knew how hard she actually took it. They were finally seeing that vulnerable side of their friend that they needed to see.

"Babe" a soft whisper rang through Aqua's ear, Beverly intertwined their fingers.

"It's okay, take a deep breath in"

The girl's voice instantly calmed Aqua's nerves, she did as she was told and allowed the cold air to fill her lungs before exhaling it.

"Here, take these. You can change in the room upstairs" Beverly mumbled

"Room, up what?" Adam asked

"It's okay, we'll show you" Allie said as she nodded in the direction for the boy and the rest of girls to follow

She knew Aqua and Beverly needed a moment together so the blue haired girl could gather her thoughts.

The girl's left the kitchen and the couple stood in the middle.

"Hey, look at me" Beverly whispered, her hands cupped the girl's face and forced her to look at her

"My fiancé is in your house" Aqua said in a squeaky voice causing Beverly to giggle, it somehow eased the tension in the room

"I think my house is a magnet for Mermaids" She laughed

"Soon my father will be at your door step" Aqua laughed

"Oh god" Beverly giggled

"Maybe this time you could leave a towel outside, I don't wanna see him naked" Aqua smiled

"I'll take that into consideration" Beverly whispered

Aqua wrapped her arms around Beverly and pulled her closer, her face nuzzled in the blonde's neck.

"I love you, you know that?" Aqua mumbled against the girl's skin

"And I love the person you are, I love the person you were, I love who you want to be and I love what you've accomplished. You came here on your own, but you weren't scared. Fuck your father, he never deserved you. The man had so many years to be the best father figure and he failed, he failed to realize that you're a blessing to everyone you meet. You've changed the lives of so many people and they all cherish you so close to their hearts. I know I cherish you alot more than others. I hate what you dealt with back then, I know you're still hurting and it's okay to feel it. It's okay to express how you feel, it's okay to cry about it because it's your pain, no one else knows what you're feeling and you should never feel ashamed of it. It's gonna make you the best version of yourself as you continue to face it head on and I'll be right here with each step that you take... Or each mile that you swim" Beverly giggled

And that was the line for Aqua, the tears washed out her body, when she cried there was a rawness to it, like the pain was still an open wound. She would clasp onto Beverly for support, her girlfriend clenched her jaw and hugged Aqua tightly, allowing the girl to let out her emotions.

It was the first time she'd seen Aqua cry, as sad as the moment was, it was also memorable. Aqua clung onto her girlfriend for dear life, her whole body shook as they hugged tighter.

The sobs were stifled at first as Aqua attempted to hide her vulnerability, but when it finally came out she wasn't afraid to hide it.

Next came an overcome by the wave of her emotions. she broke down entirely, all her defences washed away in those salty tears, her past wasn't easy.

To live in a toxic household for years wasn't easy to handle, especially when you've been hiding and choking back your feelings for so long.

So they held each other that night, tighter than they've ever been. Their love was strong but that night made it even stronger.
