My fingers combed through my hair, pulling a few strands back as I twisted it into a high ponytail.

"Some weird shit is going on out there" Elena said as she walked into the locker room

"what's wrong?" I asked

"Take a look for yourself" She motioned to the front door, I furrowed my brows and stepped over to her

Y'all, my jaw fell off my fucking face and rolled on the ground, landing to the feet of another cheerleader....Well that's what I felt like.

My eyes widened in shock when they landed on the packed students sitting on the bleachers, everyone held their phones out as they engaged in conversation. What the hell was happening?

"What the?" I asked

"I think it's because of Aqua" Elena chuckled

I glanced back in the direction of the blue haired girl that sat at the bottom seat, a bunch of students bombarded her with their phones, I chuckled at her. Poor thing help a fake smile, trying hard not to seem mean to the students.

"Oh no" I giggled

"Go rescue your girl" Elena laughed

I chuckled and headed out the locker room, into the direction of Aquamarine. Her security guard tried his best to keep the students away but they were more than he could handle.

Her eyes scanned the gym frantically in each for mine, a smile tugged across her lips when she found her destination. I chuckled and ran towards her, the girl pushed aside the students and made her way over to me in the middle of the gym.

"Hi" I whispered

"Hi" she giggled, her hands rested on my hips as she pulled me closer

"I missed you" I mumbled

"bUt wE tAlKed tHis mOrnIng" she said mockingly, using my words against me, I lightly slapped her arm

"I missed you more" she whispered

"I see you have fans" I said and nodded behind her to the students that were trying desperately to run over to us but was being held back by her security guard

"Consequences of dating a model Sweetheart" she groaned, I chuckled and cupped her cheek

"It's gonna take alot more than that to keep me away from you" I whispered above her lips before pecking them softy

I heard a few 'awws' come from the stand, I chuckled and buried my face into Aqua's chest, flushing red from embarrassment. Her laughter vibrated against my body. Her warmth invaded my senses, she smelled heavenly, perhaps it was a new cologne. Her arms wrapped around my neck securely, almost protectively as her chin rested on the top of my head.

"I ran into your ex's girlfriend" she mumbled

"Which one?"

"I was told that she's the school whore?" Aqua said

"Oh, Maya" I said

"She was highly flirty-"

"I'll kill her" I snapped, Aqua chuckled

"Possessive are we?" she smirked

"She just wants to sleep with everyone in her path" I groaned

"Did she want you?" Aqua wiggled her brows

"Yes" I chuckled

"Damn, she really is a hoe"

"Oh shut up" I chuckled

"Shouldn't you be practicing? You have an entire audience ready to support you" She smiled

"They're here for you" I laughed

"Girl, go practice" She chuckled

"Gimme kith first" I pouted

"You're cringy" she glared

"Pwease?" I pouted

"No" she said sternly

"Pweasseee" I pouted harder, Aqua's smile reached her ear as she leaned down to place a soft kiss on my lips

"Better?" she asked

"Better" I giggled

"Now gooo, your team is waiting" she said and nodded in the direction of the cheer team that was warming up in the middle of the gym.

Weird, I didn't notice when they came out.

"Wanna get pizza afterwards?" I asked

"FUCK yeah dude" She smiled

"I love you, bye baby" I chuckled and kissed her cheek

"Byee" She squealed before heading back to her seat on the bleachers, immediately being surrounded by students who flashed a few photos.

I furrowed my brows when I noticed a man wearing a dark blue suit walked into the gym, his eyes immediately found Aquamarine and he smiled. Aqua shook his hand and guided him to join her seat, they talked and her fingers pointed to me, the man glanced in my direction and nodded then waved. I chuckled confused but still waved him back.

I chuckled when all of her attention was only on me, it made me feel special. A new type of confidence flowed through my veins, students tapped her shoulder to gain her attention but she stared at me with heart eyes. Gosh she's so cute.

"Alright, remember what we practiced yesterday. Same thing today, no adjustments. I want everyone to be as fast as they can today, okay?" I said, the team nodded and stood to their feet after stretching.

I stood at the center of the mat and turned my back to the team, they were all spread out in a triangular form. It was the first time we would perform in front of alot of people, although it was just a practice, we were still nervous.

"Ready? Okay!" I yelled, the chants we rehearsed echoed through the gymnasium. I continued the chant as my fingers flicked the shiny material in my hands. My face held a bright smile that would crack if it went any higher.

The cheerleaders fell in a line behind me, I leaped forward and spread out my arms along my with legs, giving a piking spread eagle.

I landed on my knees and the team placed their palms flat to the ground and used their back leg to kick out, they each did a cart wheel one after the other. I leaped into the air and brought my head up, tossing my legs into the air and held both with my arms. My legs and arms were parallel to each other, doing a perfect arch. I almost smiled when I nailed it

"Yeesss that's my GIRLLLL, LETS GOOO" A familiar voice came from the stand, I chuckled knowing it was Aqua.

Can we talk about how sweet it was of her to learn all of the cheerleading jumps and stunts just because I was interested in it and she wanted to help me practice at home? That's literally so fucking sweet, I can't even. How did I not fall in love with her sooner?!

Three male cheerleaders sprinted down the mat, their jaw clenched and their eyes looked focused. Their feet pushed off and they all whipped into the air in unison, their arms were pressed to their sides as they flipped and landed perfectly on their feet. I smiled widely, they finally nailed it, perfect.

We continued our routine for the specific time frame we had, Elena was tossed into the air, her hands gripped either of her toes as her back arched in mid air. The weight of her body fell down from gravity and the guys wrapped their arms around her, ensuring her a safe landing. Everyone striked a pose and the gym erupted deafening cheers. I smiled and held my pom pom to the air, the sweat ran down my side profile and my heart pounded against my chest.

The students stood to their feet as they clapped. It was only in that moment that I realized they weren't just here because of Aqua, they were here to support us during practice. My heart swoll in my chest and I rose to my feet.

"Great job today guys, I'm so proud of everyone from doing their best and nailing every jump, I think we deserve a break tomorrow. Hit the showers" I smiled to the team

Suddenly, a warm hand snaked around my stomach from behind. The familiar scent filled my nostrils, I realized into her embrace

"wow" she muttered, I giggled softly

"What?"

"That was... Wow" she muttered again, I chuckled and turned around to face her

"You were amazing, you all were great. I honestly can't get over how intense that was, what the hell did y'all drink? Bull semen?!" She asked, I scrunched my face in disgust

"I'll accept the compliment but that was gross" I chuckled

"You guys were fucking incredible" she said

"You know, it's weird... The one day you show up to practice is the day we complete the routine without any problems" I chuckled, my finger found its way to her hair as I gave it a small twirl, a smirk pulled across her lips

"What are you trying to say?" she asked, my eyes locked with her green orbs

"You're my lucky charm"
