"I have no idea what they're gonna say or do" Beverly groaned

"It's gonna be okay, I promise" Aqua smiled sweetly, her fingers intertwined with the girl as they approached the restaurant

"What if they're homophobic!?"

"They wouldn't have asked us to dinner"

"Maybe they asked us to dinner so they could disown me!"

"Beverly, calm down" Aqua chuckled

"I'm nervous okay! My mom isn't the most accepting"

"Didn't she say she's bisexual?" Aqua asked

"It doesn't matter!" Beverly laughed

The two girls pushed open the doors of the establishment, immediately the smell of pasta filled their nostrils. The walls were painted black with a few chalk designs. Everything else was bright brown, their eyes scanned the entire room and landed on the couple that buttered bread.

"Ready to talk to them?" Aqua asked

"Ready"

And so our favorite girls approached the married couple who started bickering over the taste of butter on the bread

"I'm telling you, it doesn't need butter!"

"The moist the better!" the mother said

"Oh you'd like that wouldn't you" The father smirked

"Eh em" Beverly cleared her throat

The married couple turned their attention towards their daughter and smiled, then their eyes fluttered over to the blue hair girl and their eyes went wide.

"Wait. Hold up haven't I seen you before?" The father asked

"Maybe you've seen me on Kat Cunning's website?" Aqua asked

"Maybe... Anyways hi welcome. Take a seat" The father motioned for them to sit

"Hello there" Aqua smiled sweetly

"Mom, dad this is Aquamarine. We've been together for a month now but we've known each other for Atleast six" Beverly said

"Nice to meet you Aqua" Bev's mother said as she stretched her arm out, the mermaid politely shook it

"As you can see I'm to father bear of the family. You need to go through me when it comes to my daughter" The father said as he attempted to flex his muscles

"Ah yes, nice to finally meet you sir" Aqua smiled sweetly.

Her fingers snaked down under the table and intertwined with Beverly's when she noticed how nervous the girl was

"How did you two meet?" mama bear asked

"It's a funny story actually-"

"The beach" Beverly asked

"Basically" Aqua chuckled

"So Aqua, tell me about yourself" Father bear said

"There's not much to say to be honest, I'm really now starting to figure myself out and what I want to do but one thing's for certain, I really care about Beverly" Aqua smiled and glanced in the direction of her girlfriend

"That is literally so cute, don't you think that's cute?!" The man asked his wife

"I think it's... Cute sure"

"Ugh why don't you tell me things like that?!" The man pouted

"Because you're a grown thirty year old man with back problems already"

"How dare you" He glared

"You know it's true"

"It's because I carry all of this loyalty around" He smirked

"Nah it's just the office chair" the woman said, Aqua snickered

"You're mean" he pouted

"You married me"

"And God knows I don't regret it" He chuckled

"I heard you made Captain, congratulations on that Beverly" the mother said

"Thank you.. Mom?" the girl muttered, it was the first time her mother had ever approved anything

"If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?"

"I'm eighteen" Aqua smiled, the father nodded

"So, you're bisexual?" The mother asked, Beverly sighed

"Yes. I've been feeling alot of things for a while and I've finally understood myself, it's all new to me so please don't judge-"

"I'm not judging you dear, I told you I'm also bisexal yesterday didn't I?" the woman asked

"You're not the best person to talk to about some stuff" The blonde muttered

"But you can always talk to me"

"No I can't. You're literally never around" Beverly said

"I-" her mother went to speak but stopped when the realization hit her.

It was true, neither of her parents were ever around that often. Work was their priority and as much as they may care about their daughter, Beverly never felt that much loved by her parents.

"I give good advice" the mother said

"I know, but you can be a little intense" Beverly said

"I am not intens-" The mother started, her eyes glanced around to see a few heads were in their direction with a few whispers

"Damn, am I that good looking?" the father said

"Oh don't flatter yourself" Mama bear rolled her eyes

"Your mans is getting looks, you better keep up before they take me away" Father bear teased

"Dear God, please let them take you" the mother rolled her eyes

Suddenly, two teenage girls approached their tables with giggles that could be heard a mile away

"Hi, we're so sorry for interrupting your dinner but can we please get a picture?" the girl's said

"Oh Of course-" Father bear said

"No... I meant to Aquamarine" the girl said.

Father bear's eyes grew wide as his cheek flushed with embarrassment. Aqua chuckled and got up from the table

"No problem" she smiled sweetly, the girl's held their phone out and snapped a photo with the blue haired girl

Aqua quickly returned to her seat as if nothing happened. The burning stares of the married couple made her furrowed her brows.

"I'm sorry, is there something wrong?" Aqua asked

"Why did they want a photo with you?" the mother asked

"WAIT! Now I know where I saw you! There's a new billboard up on the building next to my office, it's a model. Holy shit you're a model" The father said, his eyes grew wide

"Yes, yes I am" Aqua chuckled

"Eighteen and a model, I approve" He grinned

"How did you get into modeling?" mother asked

"The owner of Cunning's industry is actually a family friend, I consider her an aunt. So we talked for a while and she signed me to the company" Aqua smiled

"That's nice, so you're doing well for yourself?" The father asked

"You could say that, I'm actually new to it all-"

"Just like Beverly and vagina-" The father snickered

"I swear to God I'll hit you with a pan one day!" the mother hissed at her husband

"How can you hit a pan with a pan?" he asked. Beverly's eyes immediately went wide

"I'm sorry. What?" she asked

"I'm Pansexual, was it not obvious?" he chuckled

"The hell? No!"

"Ah well I'm sorry I didn't come out earlier but yeah I'm actually pan" he smiled

Beverly continued to bicker with her parents while Aqua's eyes were just on her. The blue haired girl flicked her eyes over the girl's side profile, intrigued on how someone could look so beautiful. A smile etched across her face as she recalled the night they met, Aqua literally stripped out of her clothes in front of the girl then also saw the girl naked right afterwards.

Beverly felt the burning eyes of Aquamarine on her and she blushed deeply

"What?" Beverly asked in a whisper

"I think I'm falling in love with you" Aqua said bluntly with no hesitation in her voice

The blonde hair girl choked on her drink, she made the oddest sound like a mixture of snorting and choking on a-

Piece of candy, let's use candy.

"Beverly are you okay?" the mother asked as she reached over to pat the girl's back, Beverly coughed and tapped her chest as she took in deep breaths

Aqua on the other hand just smiled and stared at the girl with heart eyes. She thought about the blonde's soft lips and how they could curl into the most breathtaken smile.

The heat rose to Beverly's cheek as the butterflies swarmed her stomach, it was the first time anyone's ever said 'I love you' to her when it came to a relationship. Ofcourse she was taken back, but did she feel the same way?

"Did you just say you love me?" Beverly asked as she leaned closer to the blue haired girl, her eyes landed on the mermaid's lips before returning back to her eyes

"Yes. I love you Beverly" Aqua whispered, again no hesitation in her voice and her eyes

"Oh-" Beverly said, her heart swol in her chest as the red burning sensation reached her cheek

"I love you too" she whispered, her lips curled into a smile as she locked green orbs with the blue haired girl

"You do?"

"Yeece" Beverly giggled and wiggled her eyebrows

"Meh" Aqua chuckled

Her lips pressed against Beverly's in an almost delicate kiss, their lips left like lilac. Beverly closed her eyes as she cupped the girl's cheek, forgetting that anyone else existed in the world as she melted into Aqua's embrace. Their lips brushed together so softly, a tingling sensation spread through both of their bodies before they pulled away
