ONE MILLION READS!?! HOLY SHIT?!?

When I first started writing, I literally never thought O, Cursed Child would become as popular as it is. It was only a dream in the very far distance. I never imagined I'd even reach 100K reads, let alone 1M. This is just fucking insane. I remember looking at all these other books that had over 1M reads and wishing that I, one day, could be like them.

It's crazy.

I started O, Cursed Child at a very dark time in my personal life. I updated every single day for about three months (?) because writing had become a coping mechanism for me. As Elara's story progressed, and as she became stronger, so did I. Thanks to her and all of you, I was able to get out of a manipulative friendship and become who I am today, and that person is so incredibly happy.

Each and every single one of you, no matter if you've interacted heavily with each chapter or you're a silent reader, thank you. Your support kept me going. The interest that had been taken into Elara's story motivated me to keep going and to keep writing even when things weren't so great for me IRL.

You all stuck with me even through the beginning stages of my writing. Seriously, I had never written anything before, and I cringe at my old writing, even though it was only a year ago. The amount of love and support I have received is overwhelming.

You all were with me through my long rants about that friend (SOMETHING ELSE REGARDING HER HAPPENED TODAY TOO!?!?!?! GIRL WAS TELLING ME SHE MISSED ME?!??!?!?!) and everything else that followed. You stuck with me when I updated very sporadically or when I had to take off for trips, for which I am very much grateful.

And to showcase my gratitude, I have released a Social Media AU involving Elara at Hogwarts as a Gen Z, so you all can watch as she becomes friends with the Golden Trio and falls in love with Harry all over again and in a much happier setting.
