A twinkle in your eyes,

Drinking in the rays of the daystar

That ever brilliantly shines

With a glowing warmth.

Though the sun cannot compete

With you, whose light brings

Unparalleled gaiety;

Inexorably buoyant feelings.

I asked God for a true friend,

Someone in whom I can easily confide;

My search came to an end

When you walked into my life. 

Even just someone to talk with would be enough;

Though you have become so much more

Than a simple chatting chum;

You fulfilled what my heart was yearning for.

You restored my faith in humanity,

You brought my laughter back to life;

It is in your company

That I have found my earthly paradise.

You are the piece that completes the puzzle,

The epitome of renewed hope

In moments when I was about to crumble;

The reason I no longer feel alone.

And during your darkest hours,

I am there in a heartbeat,

Doing anything in my power

To give you the comfort you need.

Our bond bends with the wind, indeed;

Nothing can tear us apart;

For even when you are miles away from me,

My heart lies wherever you are.
