Both on the ground with Jungkook on top of Sungjae, Jungkook punched the boy about three times on his left cheek before Sungjae kicked Jungkook off but it didn't stop Jungkook as he got up and grabbed the collar of Sungjae's shirt who kept his same tough look. "You say you love him right? So why hurt him?! Look at him!!! Take a good fucking look at the boy you love! Does he look happy?! Sungjae does he?!" Jungkook yelled, pushing Sungjae to the ground. "He owes you jack shit! You pursued him knowing who he loved and that's me! I was the one he loved but you made him feel so damn bad that he had to force himself to love you!"
Jungkook snapped right then and there since he finally had Sungjae in his grasp. "The difference between you and I is that he loved me truly. He didn't have to force himself to love me like he did with you! And he wouldn't have had to if you just let him live! You chose to help him! You chose to put a roof over his head! You chose all that!" Jungkook watched the hurtful expression on Sungjae's face. "You think I don't know that!?" Sungjae got up and stood in front of Jungkook. "He had choices too! I didn't force him to become my boyfriend! He didn't say no! I didn't hold him against his fucking will!" Sungjae pushed Jungkook back.
"Yeah? but you guilt-tripped him. That's the thing you don't get here Sungjae. You guilt-tripped Taehyung into loving you because what?! You had a crush on him for years?! There's a fucking reason you guys never worked out the first time around!" Jungkook pushed Sungjae back. "Gu-Guys sto-stop please." Taehyung was heard in the background but the two boys kept their eyes glued to each other. "And what about you Jungkook? The runaway. Like you're any fucking better! You want Taehyung?! Have him! You'll just run away just like you do every time something goes wrong. You'll leave him just like how you did before! Watch! You're fucked up Jungkook!"
Jungkook was taken back by the sudden mention of him running away. Sungjae spat out the blood in his mouth and stepped closer to Jungkook. "Then when you do, I'll be there to pick up the pieces. Because unlike you, we actually lived together. I was his first boyfriend, there's a lot of first's we shared, and what you guys had? A silly summer fling. Don't forget Jungkook. You left him." Sungjae looked seriously at Jungkook who only looked at Sungjae. They lived together for three years. Sungjae wasn't wrong. He did leave Taehyung but... it wasn't anything like that.

Gulping, Jungkook stepped closer to Sungjae in an intimidating manner. Leaning in, Jungkook snickered. "You think he'll want you back? After what you put him through? Keep dreaming kid." Jungkook looked away but then sucked on his bottom lip and shrugged. "Sure, you're his first boyfriend but that doesn't compare to me. You see? I'm his first love... so I'm not worried about you being his firsts if anything, being his last is far more better than being his first." Jungkook was just about finished but seeing Sungjae mad over his words? Thrilled him.
Leaning in once more, Jungkook clicked his tongue. "Did I fail to mention that I was his first too? So whatever pride you felt in that, know that I had him first." Jungkook made it known to Sungjae. Now Jungkook wasn't all too confident in his words since he wasn't Taehyung. Hearing the words made Sungjae's skin itch and his veins boil with hatred. Jungkook didn't want Sungjae to leave thinking he still had a chance so he had to make it clear, even if it wasn't true about him being Taehyung's first love but he sure as hell hoped he was.
And just like that, after hearing Jungkook's words, Sungjae snapped as he attacked Jungkook who didn't expect that as he fell back onto the ground with Sungjae who held his collar and started to punch him. Over and over again but Jungkook was able to grab Sungjae's wrist and flip them. Getting as many punches as he could get. All the pent-up emotions breaking free on Sungjae's face and gut. It was like Sungjae was his human punching bag and god did it feel good. "Jun-Jungkook! Sto-Stop! He's had en-enough!" Taehyung grabbed Jungkook's shoulder and pulled at his shirt.
Hearing and feeling Taehyung, Jungkook looked at the saddened boy that was hiccuping due to his cries. Looking back at Sungjae who looked half-conscious, Jungkook shook his head. "... If I ever see you again... I will kill you," Jungkook warned Sungjae as he then pushed his head back onto the ground and got up. Jungkook grabbing Taehyung who hooked his arms around Jungkook. Holding back his cries as they walked away but Taehyung just felt... weak. So his legs gave out halfway but Jungkook was quick to get him standing. "Jun-Jungkook." Taehyung cried while hugging Jungkook tightly.
"Shhh, It's okay my love." Jungkook assured Taehyung who tried to stop his crying. Closing his eyes as he held Jungkook. As for Sungjae, he laid there listening to Taehyung's cries. His body hurt... his face... but god... his heart couldn't bare it anymore. There goes Taehyung... with Jungkook, again. That wasn't supposed to happen. Where did he go wrong? What didn't he have that Jungkook did? This wasn't how he planned it. Jungkook was never supposed to show up. Slowly, Sungjae sat up with a bloody face. Bruises already forming as he looked at the two just feet away. Taehyung crying in Jungkook's arms.

Tearing up, Sungjae looked at the ground. "... You're supposed to love m-me" Sungjae said to himself. Sniffing, Sungjae reached into his pocket. Here was the plan... Sungjae wanted to make it work and apologize to Taehyung but he knew from what happened that it would probably wouldn't go like that. Sungjae... was crazy in love with Taehyung ever since high school. Taehyung was the only boy who caught his eye and who made him smile so... he tried everything to get with Taehyung. Yet still he couldn't keep him. Couldn't love him as he should.
But Sungjae wanted Taehyung to himself. Ever since day one. So he would do anything to be with Taehyung, even if it meant through death. "... If I can't love you... neither can he." Sungjae said with a tear escaping his eye. Breathing in, Sungjae pulled out the gun he had tucked in his pants. Cleaning the blood off his chin, Sungjae groaned. This was crazy, his plan was crazy but in his head, this was the only way he could be with Taehyung and that's all he ever wanted. After calming down, Taehyung opened his eyes slowly while Jungkook rubbed his back and reassured him. Though he failed to notice the gun in Sungjae's hand.
Not noticing until he looked at Sungjae who raised his hand slowly. "Jungkoo-" Taehyung said the moment Sungjae cocked the gun and when Sungjae pulled the trigger, Taehyung used full force to push Jungkook on the ground and out of the way.. and it worked. Jungkook landed right on his ass once he heard the gunshot. Then seconds later Taehyung was on the ground too but not because he saved himself... but because the bullet hit him. A ringing in his ear, Jungkook's eyes widened in shock as he looked around but then it came to him. That was a gunshot... what the fuck?!
Then- "Taehyung!" Jungkook sat up and when he saw Taehyung on the ground, Jungkook got up but stumbled back to the ground when he saw Taehyung. "Tae- no, no no no Taehyung! Tae!" Jungkook crawled to Taehyung who was unresponsive but the blood on his hand made it clear he was hurt. "Taehyung!" Jungkook shook Taehyung lightly before leaning in to check if he could hear Taehyung breathing. Though he didn't hear anything and that caused him to panic.
"Taehyung!" Jungkook felt the tears fall while he grabbed out his phone. While calling for help, Jungkook checked his pulse which was weak. "Help! Fuck! No please Taehy-hyung!!" Jungkook cried into the phone and just then the operator answered. Holding the gunshot wound with as much pressure as he could give but he was a mess. Trying to talk to the operator. "No! I just! I need help! Why are you asking so many fucking questions my boyfriend is fucking dying!" Jungkook yelled into the phone, his words everywhere.
Sungjae watched from afar, his eyes wide from his actions. The gun he once had in his hold now on the ground. The moment replaying in his head over and over again. That shot was for Jungkook... why did... Taehyung. That wasn't supposed to happen. Jungkook was supposed to- oh god. "T-Taehyung?" Sungjae managed to get out as he suddenly got up and ran towards Taheyung but Jungkook was not having it. "Come any cl-closer and I wi-will fuck-fucking kill you with your ow-own damn gun! Get the fu-fuck away! Go!" Jungkook screamed at Sungjae.
"I'-I'm sorry! I'm so so fuck-fucking sorry! It wasn- oh my god. Oh my fucking god-" Sungjae pulled at his hair and fell to his knees crying. "Fuck!" and although Jungkook wanted nothing but to strangle Sungjae with his own hands, he had to tend to Taehyung. "Come on Tae baby, you're okay, you'll be o-okay you'll be just f-fine." Jungkook whispered to Taehyung with his bloody hand caressing Taehyung's cheek. "Oh my god." Jungkook cried while holding Taehyung.
It felt like hours with Taehyung but in a matter of ten minutes the paramedics came by along with the police. Once the paramedics had Taehyung, Jungkook stepped back but instead of following them, he approached Sungjae and did as he wanted to do. Wrapping his hands around Sungjae's neck and pinning him to the ground. "Are you fucking happy?!?! Look what the fuck you did!! You son of a bitch!!" Jungkook cried while holding his grip on Sungjae's neck. The boy struggled to breathe as he hit Jungkook's arms and anything he could hit.
"Break it up! Come on!" The police officers pulled Jungkook off but before he was fully off Sungjae, Jungkook kicked Sungjae in the jaw with his foot. "He tried to kill Taehyung! He fucking shot him!" Jungkook yelled out and the officers already had Sungjae in handcuffs. Feeling like his world was collapsing and caving in, Jungkook brought his legs up and hugged them. Trying to calm himself but nothing felt real and he just... he couldn't keep up.

Anchor Points: Age of Heroes
If you had a chance to reset history, knowing what we know now, would you take it? Six years after kicking an alien expeditionary force off the surface of the Earth back to their staging bases in the asteroid belt, and aided by stolen alien technology, the United Terran Republic Navy has finally achieved enough warship production to put the enemy on the run. Within this backdrop, the North American Union, now a mere state in the greater union, has created or reopened multiple off-books projects and black sites to house secrets both old and new that would be far too toxic or dangerous to be known to the wider world at such a delicate stage in world history. One of these secrets will draw Captain Henry O'Toole from his comfortable posting with the Jupiter Fleet straight into a world of conspiracies and secrets that could destroy the new, still fragile world order. Captain O'Toole will take command of mankind's first true starship with a secret mission that would be seen as treason by the new federal government. His orders are to use a prototype faster than light drive to travel through dimensions higher than spacetime and ride the expansion of the universe to create an off-books colony solely for the NAU. There are consequences for escaping time's jealous grasp, which instead position them to have a chance to change the course of human history. Fate has called the Indomitable Will and her crew into the Age of Heroes, will they be able to rise to the challenge?

Awakening
This story was previously known as "The Awakening".~*~"One... two... three... one... two... three... a million... is that number right?" A figure less voice echoed."Hello? Who's there?" Caliope asked, focusing on that voice."One... two... who? A million... a billion... no, it's more... a legion..."Silence. She had seen too many horror movies and heard too many stories about that single word to overpass its meaning. The voice went quiet, yet she was still unable to see where it came from. She turned to the opposite side and found just the same."One... two... billions... but always back at one..." the voice resumed it's counting."Where are you?
