Just as Taehyung was about to speak, he was interrupted by Namjoon and Seokjin who came out of the museum. "You guys missed out. We got to see the ancient art." Seokjin spoke as he walked towards the two. Clearing his throat, Jungkook sat up and looked at Seokjin with a forced laugh. "Yeah? I'm sure you saw it before Jin Hyung." He kept his laugh to himself. It took a minute though for Seokjin to get what Jungkook was getting at. "... Are you calling me ancient?! You brat!" Seokjin scoffed and grabbed Jungkook's ear just to pinch it. "Ouc- mm." Jungkook sucked in a breath and rubbed his ear.

Seokjin smiled at Jungkook who only stared for a moment. Standing up, Jungkook checked his time before sighing. "I gotta get going but I'll see you at the hotel tonight," Jungkook informed Seokjin who was confused by why Jungkook was suddenly leaving. "Wait- where are you going?" Seokjin asked Jungkook who spun around to face Jin. Giving a certain look but Seokjin didn't get it. "... The job offer." Jungkook cleared his throat. "Job... oh! Right. Yeah, okay go on. Let me know how it goes." Seokjin smiled at Jungkook and waved him off.

Taehyung watched Jungkook walk off before he looked at Namjoon. The boy was looking at Taehyung too until he went sit next to Taehyung. "I'm sorry." Namjoon sighed and scrunched up his nose. Taehyung stayed quiet for a moment before he put his head on Namjoon's shoulder. "I'm sorry too." Is all Taehyung said while he kept his head on Namjoon's shoulder. Seokjin happened to smile at the two. Somewhat like he and Jungkook. Well- maybe not somewhat at all. Jungkook was a pain in the ass and liked to make fun of Seokjin a lot so-

Even so, Seokjin was always there for Jungkook no matter the circumstances. Jungkook was a fragile boy who put up an act that he was strong. They may have not known each other for years but Seokjin had a bond with Jungkook he just couldn't shake off. Now Taehyung, the boy Jungkook couldn't get over was right in front of them. He could only imagine what Jungkook was going through. Now- Jungkook didn't tell Seokjin the name of this boy but he did describe Taehyung and that's how Seokjin put the pieces together. Plus the dinner when Jungkook arrived and was out of it staring at Taehyung? He figured it out pretty quickly.

"Job offer... so is Jungkook moving here?" Namjoon asked Seokjin who sat down and shook his head. "Well uh... his job offer is actually in the states." The words made Taehyung shoot up from leaning on Namjoon. "Jungkook has this friend in Deagu that he's been helping in the studio and he's moving to the states for a few months? years? to start off his career? ... and he wanted Jungkook to go with him. Jungkook said no months ago but I guess he changed his mind. Today's his last chance to decide." Seokjin breathed in and let out a sigh.

Taehyung felt his throat close up for a second. The states huh? Then surely Taehyung wouldn't see Jungkook for a good while. Another three years without Jungkook... how nice? Or well... that's what Taehyung convinced himself to think.

Jungkook walked down the sidewalk with his head a mess. There was so much to think about yet he couldn't keep his head on one topic. Taehyung- the job, his life. What if he didn't accept this job offer? Then what? Go back to Daegu and sulk his whole life? What did he have left there? Besides Jin... he had nothing left. On the other hand, taking the job offer would mean leaving Seoul. Leaving the memories of Seoul and as much as they all sucked in Jungkook's mind... there were some memories that made him love Seoul but that was a different time of place.

Going to the states would open up many doors for Jungkook. He could work on himself and just... he doesn't know but running to the states, running from his feelings sounded amazing. Taehyung moved on and Jungkook knew that. The kiss they shared was just nothing but old feeling lingering. Three years ago Jungkook left things unfinished between them and let Taehyung slip out of his hold. Now Taehyung fell into someone else's arms and he... god Jungkook hated who Taehyung fell for but what could he do?

Taehyung moved on and yet Jungkook was still there yearning for Taehyung. After three damn years. Even when he was the one who left. Breathing out, Jungkook looked at the building in front of him, and just before he entered, he heard a familiar voice. "Jungwon! don't put that in your mouth!" The girl screetched just to grab the rock in the little boys hand. "I can't look away for even a second huh?" She huffed and took the rock from the boys hand. In which he started crying soon after before she handed him his bottle.

Jungkook stood at the entrance for a long time as his head processed that familiar voice. Deep inside him he knew who's voice that was but the person he was looking at didn't fit her at all. At least it didn't fit her until she turned and Jungkook got a full view of her. "... Jia." Jungkook whispered out once he realized who it was. "Are you going in?" A male interrupted Jungkook as Jungkook then looked back, shook his head and stepped aside for the male to pass. As he did that, Jungkook didn't notice that Jia has noticed him. Not until he turned to look at Jia did he see that Jia was looking right at him too.

Clearing his throat, Jungkook put his hands in his pocket and began to walk towards Jia but before he could even get halfway to her, Jia was running up the stairs and wrapping her arms around Jungkook tightly. "It's you. You're- Jungkook. Oh my god Jungkook." Her words were all over the place as Jungkook wrapped his arms around his sister. She grew taller. Looked more mature. Looked like- "Mommy!" The small boy in the stoller started chanting over and over with the nipple of the bottle still in his mouth.

Mommy? Jungkook looked at the little boy in shock. The resemblance between his sister and the little boy... she couldn't have. Sniffling, Jia pulled away to look at the boy in the stroller. "Mommy is right here baby." Jia turned to Jungwon who was just a few feet away. "... Mommy?" Jungkook questioned as he then looked at Jia. The girl slowly looked at Jungkook as she then walked to Jungwon, picked him up and slowly walked back to Jungkook. "... Jungkook, this is Jungwon... my son." She looked at Jungkook with a forced smile but when she looked at Jungwon, she smiled happily as Jungwon looked at Jungkook with a huge smile.

"Uncle kookie!" Jungwon clapped as he looked at Jia. "Yeah baby, that's uncle kookie." She giggled and booped Jungwon's nose. Jungkook was in pure shock. His sister... his little sister has a son and he had no idea. Well how could he know? He left everything and everyone behind the moment he left Seoul. What made his heart soft as ever though? The little boy calling him uncle kookie without even meeting him once. With a small smile coming into view, Jungkook reached out for Jungwon. "You're a big boy huh Jungwon? You look just like your mommy."

Jungwon grabbed Jungkook's finger and held it as Jungkook smiled at him. ".. How old is he?" Jungkook asked after a while. Jia held Jungwon tightly and cleared her throat. "He'll be three soon." The news shocked Jungkook even more. Almost three years old which meant... "I was pregnant... when you left. I just didn't know until after you were gone." Jia told Jungkook who tried to wrap his head around it all but at the same time he had to go into this stupid meeting-

Looking at Jia and his nephew- which was weird to say, Jungkook sighed as he then looked at the building. "Let's sit." Jungkook looked away from the building and offered to carry Jungwon in which Jungwon gladly switched over to Jungkook. Wanting to play with the watch on Jungkook's wrist. Walking a little ways from the building, Jungkook sat down with Jia. "Where... where did you go?" Jia asked Jungkook. "Daegu. I've been there since... well, yeah." Jungkook rubbed the back of Jungwon's back. Though as he was doing that, he could hear sniffles coming from his sister who was full on crying now.

Looking at Jia, Jungkook saw she was hiding her face. "Jia-" Jungkook started off and scooted over to side hug her. "I'm so-sorry." She hiccuped and wiped away her tears with a forced laugh. "I just." Jia sniffled once again and tried to settle down. "I just really needed you and missed you." She broke down again as Jungkook teared up and hugged her tighter. His chin resting on her head. "I'm so sorry Jia. If I knew-" If he knew she was pregnant what would he have done? Of course he wouldn't have left his sister but his parents- god what did his parents do?!

"Mom and dad..." Jungkook started off and Jia slowly nodded her head. "You wanna guess what they did?" She looked at Jungkook who looked broken by Jia's answer. Even their own daughter? What fucking monsters could they be!? "When I told them dad called me a child of the devil. A whore. That he had high hopes for me but who did I turn out just like?" Before she could finish, Jungkook spoke up. "Me. He was referring back to me huh." Jungkook rubbed the tip of his nose. "I'm sorry you had to see that side of him. I never wanted them to treat you like how I got treated-"

Jia shook her head. "Dad is the devil himself if anything but mom... she didn't speak to me for a while but she came around." Jia straightened herself up. "How about I catch you up? I have my own place now. I'd like for my big brother to see it." Jia sniffled and Jungkook who couldn't help but be proud of how his baby sister turned out spite what happened to her. Just a big brother moment.
